Perfection

The barn loft is absolute perfection. It’s farmhouse luxury yet comfortable, inviting and relaxing. The view from the huge window is amazing. The privacy and quietness of the location is a nice bonus. We had a wonderful time. I already plan to visit again this fall.

Perfect Cozy Getaway

The Loft is about the most relaxing home away from home my wife and I could have imagined for a quick and quiet anniversary trip. Roomy but cozy, spotlessly clean and impeccably decorated, numerous amenities, and just very well thought-out in the details — like the type of mattress for the bed, the number of available charge ports, and all the different places to sit. It is a unique setting that is peacefully tucked away from the bustle of every-day life, but close enough to all that the Lake Guntersville and Huntsville areas have to offer. The panoramic window view is wonderful, but we also enjoyed sitting outside at night watching the stars. We only had time to spend two nights, but my wife was already talking about wanting to come back within the first couple of hours of arriving. It was the best place we could have spent that short time.

Very Charming

Relaxation Repeat

This was our 2nd time staying at this location. The return trip was just as peaceful as the first. The window in the loft is picturesque and provides a beautiful natural landscape to stare at during your stay. The owner is extremely quick to respond to messages and checked in with us to see if there was anything additional we needed! If you are looking for some peace and quiet and happen to be in the Guntersville area, then book it! You won’t regret it!

The perfect weekend!

We traveled to Alabama for a baseball tournament and decided to try something besides our typical hotel room. This property was everything we needed! It gave us the perfect place to relax after long days of playing baseball and plenty of room to spread out in our own space. The host was amazing and met all of our needs. We hope to play in the area again just so we can stay in the Red Barn!

Absolutely Amazing!

The Loft made for the perfect weekend getaway! We could not have been happier with the entire experience. Communication was top notch as well as the property. If you like a private and peaceful setting with beautiful views you will not be disappointed. It's one of the coolest places and we hated to leave at the end of our stay. We would love to visit again soon!!

Peace and quiet

My wife and I wanted a peaceful getaway with our newborn, and this property delivered. It was quiet and the view from the large window was beautiful. We spent a lot of time just sitting and looking at the view.

We loved our stay here. The loft is sitting off the road down a gated driveway about a 1000 feet or more in a big open field. Great view from the enormous living room window. Host had great communication with us from beginning to end. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Mother’s Day Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at the loft! The scenery is picturesque and the loft itself is beautiful with upscale finishes! Not to mention, the property was extremely peaceful and private. Just a short drive to downtown Guntersville or Arab, if you prefer. We will definitely be visiting again!

You have found your stay <3

This stay was phenomenal! My sister and I had plans in Huntsville for the weekend and did not want to stay in the busy city - life is busy enough as is. This location did not disappoint! It was peaceful and secluded, yet still close to Guntersville where we dined and shopped! (City Harbor was awesome!) The communication was great, although we didn't even have to ask anything, as it was all so perfectly thought out. We will definitely be back. Thanks again to the hosts for sharing their wonderful space with us!

Looking for a scenic couples getaway? Stop looking. This is it.

The Loft in the Red Barn is absolutely fantastic and the perfect getaway spot for couples. It’s well-appointed with all the essential amenities – and then some. There’s outdoor activities galore in the Guntersville area. And tons of great dining options within a 15 minute drive as well. Claire was great to deal with and helpful in answering any questions we had. The setting is every bit as idyllic as the pictures show. On our last evening we’d planned to go back into town for dinner. But we were so contentedly cozy that we ended up staying in and enjoying the evening there. The view out the front window is almost indescribably beautiful. And sunrise coming up over the ridge directly across from the window is absolutely worth getting up early for (and then taking a nap on the couch looking out the same window later.) Our stay here was one of the most relaxing we’ve had in ages. And we’re already planning a return trip.
