Here is the real deal on our 3 night stay:
The pros: hotel is in a good location. 5 minutes to Marta station, quick Uber/Lyft availability. Room was very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Shower had excellent hot water and pressure. Lobby was inviting with lot of seating. There is a coffee shop onsite.
Cons: we arrived at 8:30 pm and the room was not ready. They had us wait over 30 minutes while they cleaned the room. When we finally got the room, it was equipped with towels and linen for 2 people when we had booked for three. Told the front desk who said they will send housekeeping. Nothing happened the whole of next day and when we called housekeeping the day from the room no one ever picked up.
The room in general was very tired looking. The sofa bed was super uncomfortable, no one can survive a night in it. While the room in general was very neat, there was mold on the shower curtain.
We received vouchers for free breakfast - they said only 2 per room but we managed to get 3 as compensation for delayed room assignment. But we need not have bothered. The breakfast was usual fare, the coffee was terrible and the nice seating was reserved for “paying” customers. Those with vouchers were consigned to a back room with very limited seating and each and every chair was disgusting with stains. We never went back after the 1st day.
Overall location is great, but rooms need sprucing up and staff need training.
