Schönes südliches viktorianisches Haus in der charmanten Altstadt von Downtown Brunswick, GA, nur wenige Minuten von den Stränden und Golfplätzen von Jekyll und St. Simons-Inseln.

Komplett renoviert, das Haupthaus verfügt über 12 'Decken, 8' verglaste Fenster mit Plantage Fensterläden und Holzböden durch heraus, den schönsten Möbeln und Bettwäsche, und alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten (zentrale Wärme / Luft, Waschmaschine / Trockner, WiFi).

Gehen Sie in von der Veranda (mit Veranda Schaukel), und Sie werden auf eine herrliche Treppe Empfangshalle mit Puderraum zu öffnen. Es gibt ein schönes Wohnzimmer mit Gaskamin und Erker und der Speisesaal bietet Platz für 10 Personen (Hochstuhl auch verfügbar). Die Küche verfügt über eine professionelle Gas JennAir Herd, Kühlschrank Edelstahl, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und zwei Geschirrspüler. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten in der Höhle zusammen mit TV und DVD-Player. Die Master Suite verfügt über ein neues Kingsize-Casper-Bett und einen Flachbild-TV sowie ein eigenes Bad mit einer begehbaren Dusche mit zwei Duschköpfen. Das Obergeschoss verfügt über eine Halle Bad mit Kralle footed Badewanne / Dusche. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und das andere mit einem Kingsize-Bett - beide mit reichlich Stauraum und arbeitsfreie Kamine. Das Obergeschoss Master Suite verfügt über ein Doppelbett und eigenem Bad mit Ankleideraum, zwei Waschbecken und eigene geflieste Dusche. Der Flur im Obergeschoss öffnet sich zur oberen Veranda mit einer eigenen Schaukel.

Der private gemauerte Innenhof mit hübschem Springbrunnen verfügt über einen individuell gestalteten Grillbereich, schmiedeeiserne Tische und Bänke im Schatten von 100 Jahre alten lebenden Eichen- und Magnolienbäumen.

Ein schöner Ort für einen Kurzurlaub!: Downtown Brunswick ist eine charmante Stadt im Süden mit großartigen Restaurants und Antiquitätenläden gefüllt. Nur ein paar bllocks entfernt ist eine schöne Marina und Stadtpark mit wöchentlichen Bauernmärkte. Genießen Sie die nahe gelegenen Strände, Golf und Tennis und historische Touren oder einfach nur im Schatten eines 100 Jahre alten Live Oak entspannen Sie in Ihrem privaten Innenhof und hören Sie den Brunnen Blase.

Grand Victorian House - Brunswick Historical District

It was a great place for my wife, myself, daughter and grandson. Nice and big with space for everyone. TVs everywhere! Must have been at least 40 bed pillows! There was room for everyone with 4 bedrooms plus zoned AC for upstairs and the main level. Large kitchen with an amazing amount of dishes, utensils, pretty much anything you needed. We would highly recommend this house.

What a beautiful home!

My extended family of 10 stayed here for New Year's 2014. We were so comfortable and cozy - despite all the rain! We made wonderful meals and had plenty of elegant yet comfortable rooms to chat, play games and watch TV. We loved the fireplace - the front room alcove is a beautiful place for a quiet read. Great property, great location.

Seven adult family members stayed here. We had plenty of space, and we were close to Jekyll and St Simon Islands, and even church. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The house has good tv and Wi-Fi, plenty of seating, decently equipped kitchen, laundry, even beach chairs and toys. Cleaning supplies were also available. Plus a lovely patio if the weather were warmer. As for us, we enjoyed the fireplace with the supplied logs and bottle of wine!

A true Lowcountry vacation

Our first time in Brunswick did not disappoint! If you are looking for fast-paced, schedule full days on your trip, this is not it! The home lends itself perfectly to slow, warm Southern days, that almost take you back in time. It’s not your typical vacation rental and felt more like home than like you are staying in someone else’s space. They have everything you need, from kitchen supplies to warm fluffy blankets. You have to experience the home to truly understand what it is. The location is absolutely perfect. Just minutes from downtown, with lots of wonderful places to eat, things to see. We enjoyed daily 45 minute- 1 hour walks through the Historic district. The beaches at Jekyll and SSI are a quick, easy drive. Brunswick is a hidden gem of a place and I cannot wait to go back.

Very pleasant!

Spacious home. The atmosphere was practical more than pretty. Didn’t find the grill and had to go to a store and purchase a skillet since all at the house were damaged. We were without power for about 9 hours one night. The thresholds are hazardous! Otherwise it was a very nice place.

Great get-away for a group

We had an amazing stay at this house in Historic Brunswick! We were easily able to visit the nearby beaches, explore the downtown (great antiquing!), as well as spend time together at the house. There were 10 of us including 3 couples, and everyone had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. Beds and couches were VERY comfortable! The kitchen was well equipped to make and serve food for a group, and the house and all the amenities you could want and more! We especially enjoyed using the gas grill and hanging out in the outdoor spaces, as well as taking advantage of the beach equipment that was available. The property manager, Stacie, was also super responsive and helpful. The house shows its age in some ways, but truly it just added character, and we could not have asked for a better experience!!

Good location

The house was very convenient from the places we visited and had enough room to accommodate everyone thay slept their and more.. The only draw back was the mildew growing around the vents and the very nasty shower curtain in the masters bedroom upstairs. And the door handle to the upstairs patio area kept coming off. Oh, and the spider that was the size of a golf ball!!! We had to call the manager to come get it. Those were my only complaints. I would stay again, if those issues were fixed.

The walk back in time

What a great historical house to stay in. I We had issues with one of the appliances when we arrived and our host was quick to help us resolve the problem. This was our 2nd time staying in this home and we will certainly be back.

Wonderful Stay in Historic Brunswick

My husband and I stayed at this property for a month while building a home nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the historic home! Loved exploring the neighborhood and all of the history. The home was clean, comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The large back patio was delightful as was the front porch and swing. It was great having several smart TVs. The nights were cool so we used the fireplace frequently. There were many delicious restaurants within walking distance. Jekyll and St Simons Island are both a short drive and great to explore. Such a fun experience!

Excellent property, wonderful time in Brunswick

This is the second time my family has stayed at this property. We love it! The historic mansion is spacious, clean and well appointed. There were many "extras" in the kitchen for a family's cooking convenience, e.g. spices, lots of flatware, plates, etc. We loved sitting in the courtyard at night with the beautiful lights. You won't be disappointed!

The house was lovely and worked great for my family. Property manager was available for questions when needed. Plenty of towels, supplies, umbrellas, etc. Walking to downtown Brunswick and 15mins to SSI. Great mix of old southern charm and modern amenities.

Lovely & charming home in great neighborhood and central location!

My family and I stayed the week after Christmas. The home is large and comfortable with plenty of room (and bathrooms!!) for us. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It was fun to explore the historic neighborhood and downtown (all on foot). Less than 30 min driving distance to Jekyll and St. Simons Islands and just a little over an hour to Savannah and Tybee Island. Great central location.

Home away from home

Historic boulevard, awesome location minutes to Jekyll or St.Simons. Large open indoor outdoor space

We had our family and in town guests all together at 1200 Union and it made for games space, outdoor garden time and group cooking. Walk downtown or skip to Jekyll or StSimons. Awesome

Brunswick Stay

The property is in the historical district & is well maintained. When we arrived the porch had 2 split boards & those were replaced the next business day after our arrival on a Sunday. Plenty of great towels. Fully stocked kitchen with the necessity to cook a meal. The beds were comfy & we all slept well. It is in a great location to visit St Simon & Jekyll Islands & not have to be in the crowd all the time of the islands. Also not far from Savannah. Able to go there in a day & return. There are several local restaurants in Brunswick that are reasonable & food is good. Be advised is some are closed on Sundays. The Sunrise Diner on New Jesup Hwy has great breakfasts . Fox pizza is within walking distance & pizza was great. PamPam's cupcakes is outstanding & in downtown Brunswick next to the historic theater. Would recommend this house. We had 6 people & there was plenty of room. Nice backyard area with a grill.
