San Francisco Delight

We stayed for 11 weeks in this great property 2 blocks from the Panhandle and in the middle of very active Nopa/Lower Haight neighborhood. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed. Arthur was very responsive to the few inquiries we had. You can see his attention to detail and constant improvements in this quite stylish Victorian. There is a lot of street activity (and typical city noise) on the front of the apartment, but the master suite is cleverly sited on the back interior corner to afford a good nights sleep. We would love to go back if the occasion arose.

Perfect spot in the city

Outstanding!

Words simply cannot express how great this unit is! The description and pictures are spot on, and the property was clean and well-maintained. The owner was wonderful to work with. He provided two pack and plays and a high chair for our small children to use while visiting, saving us lots of space in our suitcases. A baby gate at the top of the stairs provided extra security, and the laundry machines came in handy several times. The place was well-stocked: we found hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the dispensers, dishwasher packs in the kitchen, paper towels, trash bags, and all things necessary for cooking (even olive oil!). The parking was easy with our compact rentals, and there was extra room in the garage for our strollers. The location was ideal for visiting Alamo Square, the trendy restaurants on Divisadero, and Golden Gate Park. We would definitely stay here again!

Terrific 2 bedroom Penthouse in great SF "in" area

Very roomy apartment with open floor plan. Two large bedrooms with excellent King beds. Two baths with walk in showers. Garage parking below the apartment. Very important if you have a car. Great area for restaurants, upscale grocery store near by if you want to eat in. Well equipped Kitchen and the deck is very large. Great place to hang out in good weather. We grilled steaks one night.

Great location, space, and layout

We loved staying at this rental! It was much bigger than I expected and gave us plenty of room for three couples. We used the pull out couch in the office, which can be closed off from other areas, so there was privacy and still plenty of living room and dining room space for everyone to use. There are tons of restaurants, shops, and sites within walking distance. It was clean, well maintained, well stocked, and we received great service from the owner.

Family Trip

Great Accommodations for our family. We were surprised to find a high chair and even some toys that my kids really enjoyed. The place was big and the roof deck was a nice perk. We even fit a minivan in the garage. Good location was walk able to many things.

Perfect Girls Getaway

On a getaway with 5 friends and the Penthouse was wonderful. Very comfortable and plenty of room. Everything you need! The place is centrally located with great restaurants and shopping nearby. I will definitely be contacting on my next visit to San Francisco.

Great Stay in San Fran

This rental is right in the middle of it all and is a short trip to any of the hotspots in San Fran, the nice modern interior in the house is nice and comfortable loved people watching on the streets down below from the high up penthouse windows overlooking the streets. If we are ever back in San Fran again we will be contacting to hopefully rent this gem again. Lots of great eating places withing 2-3 blocks or closer it is a shame we werent there longer as i didnt get to try all the great local places. There was an issue with water filtration tank below the sink leaking but Arthur was immediately on top of it and got it resolved quickly. Otherwise everything else was great. thank you again we all enjoyed ourselves.

A true San Francisco experience

Arthur's penthouse is absolutely gorgeous. Everything you think a San Francisco flat should be, this place is. Lots of space with modern amenities and cool touches like an open concept kitchen for entertaining. The master bathroom was spa like and that closet was enormous, plenty room for my one suit (I needed one for the wedding I attended--the reason for my visit to San Francisco)… hanging there looking all lonely. The rooftop deck was a perfect spot to catch up with friends I haven’t seen in ages. Restaurants were everywhere… in fact the Mexican restaurant, Little Chihuahua, was right across the street and I had a burrito that tasted authentic and gourmet at the same time. The famous Haight-Ashbury walking street is a few blocks from the flat and there was always a bunch of friendly hipster neighbors to chat with. Parking was a plus, I really didn’t want to fight with the residents for street parking and the provided computer and iPad helped plan our next day’s adventures. There was even a bike for rent, which was great for getting around town, I took it for a morning ride through Golden Gate park (which was only ten minutes away). A great place to stay when visiting San Francisco!

Roomy 2/3 Bdrm Apt.

Arthur was wonderful to work with. Our flight was delayed and so we didn't get to the unit until about 2 am. I thought I was having a problem with the digital access, called Arthur and he didn't mind that I woke him up. It was only a sticky door. We also called for assistance with the flat screen TV in the living room and Arthur was there in minutes to show us how to work the remotes. We rented a Ford Taurus (costco travel) and it fit comfortably in the garage (additional charge/night) below. There are 35 stairs up to the unit which has a great view on the corner of Page and Divisadero. There is a full kitchen with an island, a very comfortable living room and dining room, a computer room/office which we closed off to become a 3rd bedroom, 2 bdrms and 2 baths. The master bedroom has a hallway to its own bathrm. The second bathrm is centrally located. The unit is designed for tall people but there are a couple of step stools for shorties like me (5'2"). The design is masculine and everything is very clean. Our family (including teenage son and teenage daughter) felt very much at home. After a day looking at college campuses or walking around the tourist hot spots, returning to Page St. was like returning home. Having a computer on the premises was such a luxury and the wifi worked without a hitch. It is also close to the freeway on ramp. Before we got there my husband questioned my choice in lower haight. After staying there he now says it was PERFECT!

Pleasant, clean and spacious w/top-notch design

This is a wonderfully spacious and airy apartment, very thoughtfully updated/renovated in a way that seamlessly combines classic, historical San Francisco architecture with contemporary design standards and principles. For discerning visitors who appreciate well-executed details and touches, this apartment is top-notch. The owner has managed to appoint and maintain the apartment in a way that, in my view, strikes just the right balance between being fully outfitted and well-stocked with appropriate furnishings, accessories, and sundries while preserving a sense of freshness and simplicity. No fuss, no muss, just all of the right stuff. For those who don't know San Francisco and want to explore all of it, the apartment's location is also a plus -- very close to the true geographic center of the city. Highly recommended for someone like us -- a family of four who wanted to be able to host friends for dinners and small gatherings while we were in town -- and we would most certainly book here again.

PERFECT!

I had a sisters weekend getaway and stayed at this beautiful apartment! We could not have been happier with the location of the apartment, the décor, the comfort, the rooftop deck, it was everything we were hoping it would be and more. I must say I am not a huge SF fan because I feel like it's so fast and a bit of a cluster so when my sisters out voted me on the location of our weekend away I had to go along. I found this apartment which seemed it work for us from the online description and reviews so I booked it, not being familiar with the area of SF it was in. Once we arrived we pulled right into our garage spaces (which if you are travelling with a car, it is a must to reserve the garage. SO convenient!) and walked around. It was peaceful yet entertaining. A perfect blend of the chaos of a big city and the calmness of a suburb. I absolutely recommend this apartment and look forward to renting it again!

The property exceeded our expectations

This is a fantastic place to stay!

Me and My three friends loved this apartment!! It is beautiful, large, well appointed, and clean. We couldn't stop talking about how much we wanted to live there! It's a perfect apartment for a friend get away. We had cocktails on the deck, breakfast in the big open kitchen and lounged in the evening and watched a movie on the flat screen TV. It is centrally located to all the great neighborhoods. You can easily walk to great breakfast places (e.g., the Grind), and cool shops. You can also easily get a cab or take a bus from the corner to any other place in the city. Arthur was great at helping us with details about our stay. I highly recommend staying on this apartment. It is well worth it!

WHAT A GREAT PROPERTY!

We loved everything about this penthouse! We spent the weekend here with my son and his family. Everything was beautiful from the great kitchen/living room to the deck. The master bath was spectacular. So much so that my 14 year old grandson asked to take a bath! The kid has good taste. The owners, Jeff and Amy, were very accommodating and responsive. The neighborhood had lots of good restaurants. We definitely will stay here again when we are in SF.

Wow ! That's what we said when we arrived !

What a wonderful spot for a San Francisco vacation ! Situated in a lively neighbourhood , with incredible restaurants and shops all around. We loved relaxing on the rooftop deck with great Californian wine and cheeses from Falletti Foods only a block away. With high ceilings, hardwood floors, original doors and moldings, they managed to retain the original charm while updating it with luxurious modern design. Spacious, immaculate and very comfortable ! Can't wait to go back!

Didn't Want To Come Home!

A great place to spend time in San Francisco. The apartment was absolutely amazing. It was everything depicted in the description plus more. Every room was spacious and filled with amenities. The toys were a nice extra and our boys loved them. It also offers a great deck with plenty of room to relax. All the little extras make this apartment a fantastic place to stay. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. It was renovated and the attention to detail was great. The code system for the front door and the garage made for easy and convenient access. Plus having a garage was a nice option. The owners provided exceptional service and went above the expected to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The location was great and allowed us to walk to the parks and restaurants. We loved everything about our stay, except having to leave. Whether you are planning on staying one day or one month, we will 100% recommend this property.

Clean and Comfy

Stayed at Amy's property and was pleasantly surprised. Not only at how clean and comfortable it was, but that the property was exactly as the pictures showed online. I'm used to staying at timeshare properties where you need to bring all toiletries and detergent, etc. so I was annoyed that I forgot a bar of soap, but realized that the apartment was outfitted like a nice hotel. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and detergent as well as spices and oils for cooking. Lovely apartment in the heart of all that tourists wish to do. Thanks for a great stay!! Dawn

Superb San Francisco Rental

We had a fantastic time at the apartment. It was one of the highlights of the weekend. I lived in SF for about 5 years, and never saw such a great patio space. The amenities were superb and we had everything that we needed. The bikes we rented also worked great. The garage was also very convenient and the code systems made getting into the apartment and garage a breeze. The rooms were spacious and clean. Fabulous apartment in a great location!

A few girlfriends and I rented this apartment for a weekend stay in San Francisco, after a long search for the right place. Our expectations were far exceeded by both the apartment itself and the location, which was very central to great shops and restaurants, as well as convenient to the rest of the city. What really blew us away, however, was the attention to detail in the unit - lavender bath products, lush bedding, and high-end appointments. We were extremely comfortable there and found it to be stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend away. And working with the owners throughout the rental process was easy, flexible, and a pleasure. Many thanks to the owners for being so thoughtful in their hospitality!

Perfect Penthouse

We REALLY enjoyed this apartment. The location was perfect, the size of the unit was great and there was an incredible patio/deck with bbq. The biggest positive for us was the style of the apartment. The interior design was modern and comfortable and this was right in line with my wife's taste and she is hard to please. Absolutely the best vacation rental we've had in the last four years and will be our go to place for future visits to SF. We need to come back for a longer stay.

Great stay!

Three of us recently had to travel to San Francisco to spend a week at the headquarters. Instead of booking separate rooms at the hotel, we opted to share a place and get to experience the city as if... we lived there! It made this work week away from home a lot more pleasant! The apartment is newly renovated and impeccable. it is very spacious and allowed each of us to have our separate quarters. Both bathrooms are brand new and extra clean. There is a huge outdoor deck equipped with a BBQ grill if you want to enjoy a meal outside or simply relax. The owners made sure we had everything needed and provided us with great recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood. We had great organic mexican food at Nopalito (make reservations) and delicious deep dish pizza at Little Star Pizza. For a quick and very satisfying burrito, The Little Chihuahua and its salsa bar is perfect and right in front of the apartment For breakfast, Stacks is a 15-minute walk from the penthouse. There are also numerous grocery stores at walking distance if you prefer cooking. Everything you need to cook is available in the kitchen. Wireless internet proved useful for last minute changes to presentations! Definitely recommend it and I plan to come back for a real vacation with family next time!

Awesome property with lots of space

Very spacious and CLEAN, well organized and fully equipped property. Windows galore and quality everything...from appliances to linens to toiletries! Luxury hotel robes were a nice touch too. Five of us stayed here (2 adults, 2 teens, and 1 pre-teen) and had plenty of space to operate and spread out. Loved being able to do some laundry as we went along (full sized washer and dryer). Neighborhood was very active; a young, hip atmosphere but safe and fun to watch from the windows above. Some great places to eat within walking distance, especially the mediterranean restaurant just a block away. Parking in the garage was really convenient since there never seemed to be any spaces available for on-street parking. The rooftop patio was a nice way to start the day with a cup of coffee, and the apartment also has an ipad for guest use to explore sightseeing options, local fare, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again, and truely added to our entirely wonderful vacation to SF!
