Our properties are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized by professional staff before each check-in. Our team of experts prepares all the details before your arrival so you do not have to worry about cleaning or organizing during your stay.
In addition to this, all linens are laundered by a specialist professional laundry after each check-out, providing our guests with clean and sanitized linens, bed sheets, and comforters for the day of their arrival.

GETTING AROUND
• Upon entering the resort, it is necessary to get to the Clubhouse to obtain an access card for each vehicle. The stipulated fee is mandatory and it is $20 per vehicle
• There are two parking spaces on the driveway. Street parking is allowed
• Do not park or drive on the grass/sod due to the extensive irrigation system hidden underneath it
• If your vehicles have a long wheel base that covers the sidewalk, park the vehicle on the street
• No more than 6 cars per home per day are permitted within the resort
• Do not park in any way that blocks the sidewalks. It is a legal requirement that sidewalks must be accessible at all times
• Vehicles cannot park horizontally on the apron. The apron is the section of concrete between the sidewalk and the road
• Make use of all the street parking available, ensuring you do not block junctions or access to any of the homes
• You must not park in front of or next to a fire hydrant.
• Recreational vehicles, motorhomes, boats, trailers, trailered smokers or grills, and campers can not be parked on the Resort. Parking facilities are located nearby. Contact the Clubhouse concierge for more details
• In order to help ensure the safety of everyone on Emerald Island, any vehicle found to be in violation of the rules will be subject to deactivation of associated access cards and possible towing - with or without notice

Check-in starts at 04:00 pm and ends at 11:00 PM

PARTY 🚫🎉
Parties and events are not allowed. “Quiet hours 10:00 PM - 07:00 AM”. We hope to have your cooperation, otherwise, if party evidence is found a $250 fine will be applied.

POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING EQUIPMENT 🥽⏱️
For those interested in the heated pool and hot tub service, we would like to inform you that the equipment used can take between 8 to 10 hours to reach the desired temperature, this is an additional service that must be requested in advance. Only authorized staff can touch the equipment to configure the heating correctly, if guests turn on the heater without permission, will be charged the heating price plus taxes multiplied by their accommodation days.

AC EQUIPMENT / THERMOSTAT 🥶🌡️
The air conditioner should not be set below 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Failure to comply with these terms may cause the system to freeze and become inoperable. In addition, all windows and doors must be kept closed during the rental period. Not following these instructions the AC system can be damaged and it may result in a $250 fine.

GARBAGE COLLECTION 🗑️♻️
The doorstep trash service is provided throughout the community, the trash bags should be bagged and placed in the correct bin before 10 am. Any loose garbage that is out of the bag will not be collected. The external can be a bin that is in a bench shape and is located right in front of the house or a regular bin in front or next to the property. Please let me know if you have difficulties finding the bin. We hope you understand and cooperate with that. Garbage found out of bags will result in a $100 fine and excess garbage will result in a $150 fine.

PET-FRIENDLY 🐶🐱
Your pet is more than welcome on our property. We are a pet-friendly property and there is a pet fee per booking. The guest is required to take responsibility for the containment and proper disposal of the animal's urine and excrement. The non-compliance of this rule will result in a $100 fine in case it is found on the floor. If an animal's urine and excrement are found in the carpet it will result in a $250 fine for cleaning purposes.

POOL 🏊‍♀️🌤️
The guests agree not to tamper with pool heating controls or manipulate the heater. In addition, do not throw food, drinks, soaps, balloons with LEDs, or any elements that could damage the pool into the pool. If you break this rule, we will investigate the situation with the pool technician and you will be subject to a $150 fine.

SMOKING 🚭
No smoking inside the property. Smoking is allowed outside the property, however, it is important to keep the place clean afterward. The non-compliance of this rule will result in a $250 fine.

CHECK-OUT ⏰🕙
Check-out time is 10:00 AM. An additional 15 minutes may be granted as a grace period upon prior request. The cut-off time is 10:15 AM, The noncompliance of this rule may result in a $200 fine.

CLEANING 🧹🧽
Please rest assured, you do not need to be concerned about the cleaning, we just kindly ask you to please put the dishes in the dishwasher, and take the bagged trash before your departure. Please note that stains or dirt found on the carpet will result in a $250 fine for cleaning purposes. Items or furniture damaged will result in a charge to replace it at its estimated value or repair the item, this value is calculated by a third party.

STAY AWAY

From the very beginning American Star Vacation Home has terrible customer service. The air conditioning was frozen up. We stayed 5 nights. Day we checked in I noticed them the air was 74-75 degrees, called & texted day 2 76-78 degrees, calls still no technician, day 3 80 degrees, days 4-5 82-84 degrees inside the home. American star has not done a single thing to remedy & tried to lie saying it was fixed when I have pictures of the thermostats with dates & times. Unless you want to rent a home sauna, stay away from this place!

It was ok

At first the host was very responsive, and suddenly the communication stopped do to "instability", what I can also add to this is that I still as today I haven't received my deposit back. I try to address few things with the host, but only got fixed the AC. The dishwasher dont work properly, the ice maker from the freezer doesn't work, the bunkbeds makes LOTS of noice (my children's barely sleeps with all the noice), the rug need it to be treated because it was stained, the washer mashing have a strong smell of mold, the pool need it treatment because it was turning green and bubbly. For the pool maintenance, I called the management few time to get someone to clean the pool, but no one addressed the issue. None of the issues were fixed, but the AC (It was leaving all over the rug). Other then that....., it was ok. Ps: Still waiting for my deposit.
