This exquisite three-bedroom abode can only be described as breath-taking. Taking luxurious seaside living to new heights, Barley Beach Luxury Penthouse in Bakoven, Camps Bay encompasses pure glamour for the most discerning guests.

Perched above the mercurial waters of the Atlantic Ocean with endless ocean views, this beautiful three-bedroomed retreat is the epitome of laid-back, luxurious seaside living. Designed to offer guests an intimate sanctuary with unobstructed views across the sea, this five-star apartment leaves no stone unturned when it comes to luxe living.

A study of modern sophistication and style, the multi-level design provides all the rooms with unfettered views of the ocean, while glass sliding doors and floor-to-ceiling windows create a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

Accessed by a lift from the under cover parking garage, the apartment opens onto a beautiful double-volume living space which is stylishly furnished with designer décor and beautiful artworks. The open-plan living area features a comfortable lounge with a gas fireplace, Large Smart TV, and a dining area with a 10-seater dining table. Glass folding sliding doors allow the lounge to open out onto a large, shaded terrace with a swimming pool, an outdoor lounge, sun loungers, and 180 degree magnificent ocean views. The terrace wraps around the side of the building where there is an outdoor bar area with a gas barbecue and all the facilities for alfresco outdoor dining.

The living area flows seamlessly into a modern, open-plan kitchen with high-end Miele appliances, including a state-of-the-art coffee machine, a convection oven, microwave, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. There is ample cupboard space in the kitchen and a breakfast bar with four stools is ideal for casual entertaining. A private guest toilet is set just off the living area.

The stylish décor and cool grey tones of the first level flow into the second level of the apartment, which features three bedrooms. These include a beautiful master bedroom and, en-suite bathroom and two guest bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom and the other a private dedicated bathroom.

The master bedroom is a study of understated luxury with a king-size bed and an exquisite open bathroom with an oval soaking tub, a spacious rain shower, and double vanities. A walk-in closet provides plenty of storage space, and the room flows out onto a private balcony with outdoor seating and, breathtaking ocean and mountain views. The master bedroom has a ceiling fan and air-conditioning as well as a large flat screen smart TV.

The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, built-in cupboards, a large wall-mounted flat-screen smart television partial ocean and mountain views, and an en-suite bathroom with a large rain shower and a single vanity. This airy and bright room has access to a private side patio with a small table and chairs and stairs leading down the outdoor bar area on the first level.

The third bedroom features a king-sized bed that can be converted into two single beds, built-in cupboards, and a private bathroom with a spacious rain shower and a single vanity. This bedroom has air-conditioning, Smart TV and partial ocean views.

The apartment is fully secure with on-site security and private tag access. It has two dedicated off-street parking bays in a closed garage beneath the building and direct access to the apartment is via a lift that can only be utilized with a tag.

Barley Beach is perfectly positioned to enjoy Cape Town’s cosmopolitan lifestyle. There is a semi private beach directly across the road and the famous Beta Beach is a short walk away. The palm-lined Camps Bay Beach is a short walk away and the four blue flag beaches of Clifton are a short drive away, as well as several excellent restaurants, cafés, and beach bars.

Please note: Rates for 2024/25 have been drastically reduced due to ongoing construction next door to the villa. Please note the construction can be extremely noisy, or completely quiet. We cannot give any guarantees on this. Should you accept the rate and proceed with a booking, no further compensation can be offered on arrival or during the stay as a result of the construction.

This is a dedicated year-round vacation home which is exclusively and professionally managed. The offices for the manager are based in Camps Bay. This property has been meticulously vetted prior to on-boarding, comes with a dedicated 24/7 guest support team, housekeeping, WiFi and hotel grade amenities. The manager prides themselves on offering the highest level of service to ensure you have a memorable stay!
