It's the time of the year when the Lightning bugs are out in the evenings in the backyard.

Spend quality time with friends & family in our updated home. Enjoy your afternoons/evenings grilling in the backyard, dining al fresco, chillin in the pool,relaxing around the fire pit, or playing backyard games. Inside you’ll find an open living, dining,and kitchen area perfect for entertaining a group along with board games for all ages.

Close proximity to I-35 makes exploring the ATX a breeze!

You will have private access to the entire home and backyard, excluding the garage. Our backyard sports a cowboy pool, fire pit, plenty of seating and places to relax, a propane grill, and oversized board games like Connect Four and Jenga. Perfect vibes for grilling, al fresco dining, and enjoying the outdoors. Inside you will find a spacious living area, dining room, and kitchen where you can relax with your friends and family. There are plenty of board games and puzzles for all ages and a small hideaway play area for kids under the stairs equipped with a chalkboard, chalk, coloring books, and kids books. Our home was originally built in the 1980's and was recently renovated to sport more modern features without sacrificing its original cozy, quirky, 80’s personality.

The area: Our home is nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Round Rock West. It is not suited for wild parties or events and we ask that you please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet time is 10pm - 7am daily. We are located 20 minutes outside of Austin and our close proximity to I-35 makes for short drives to The Domain and the Austin FC stadium (13 miles). We’re about 3 miles from downtown Round Rock which has many places to eat, drink, and shop. Kalahari Waterpark is under a 10 minute drive from Casa Blue! Other places of note nearby include the Round Rock Sports Center, Old settlers Park, Apple Campus, Dell Headquarters, Tesla Factory, and the Samsung facility in Taylor. There are plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, and convenience stores near us, some within walking distance.

Other info: We are a pet-friendly home but ask that you please pick up after your dogs and keep them off of all furniture and beds. There are poo-bags provided, 2 dog doors, and an enclosed backyard.

No tampering with the internet. Doing so will incur a fine and be ground for removal from the property and no refund for remaining nights.

The house (excluding garage) and private backyard is included with this rental. Please make yourself at home.

This is a keyless entry home and you will get a code before your arrival date. We are always available at any time during your stay so please reach out should you have any questions, even if it's just the best place to grab a cup of local coffee or throw a frisbee with your kids.

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We’re only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

Peaceful older neighborhood just west of Interstate 35. Very close to Kalahari, Round Rock Sports Center, Old Settlers Park and many restaurants and the Outlet Mall.

The driveway can fit 4 smaller cars or 2 large trucks. There is on street parking as well.

Please remember you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. Toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and coffee are provided as a starter. If you are staying more than a couple days, you will need to grab some more at the convenience store or local H-E-B.

If problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
-No parties or events allowed.
-Tampering with the internet is not allowed and will be a $150 fine & removal from the property with no refund.
-There is a pet fee of $100. 2 pet limit.

Please read ALL the following instructions carefully and completely!

Air conditioning: Please keep the doors & windows closed while the air conditioner/heater is on. Exposing the home interior to our humid environment can lead to mold issues and will cause the HVAC system to work overtime. This stress on the system can cause it to freeze up, malfunction or stop functioning all together, leaving you without air conditioning!

Dog doors: There are two dog doors in the house which are big enough for a child to fit through. There are covers for each of the dog doors if you do not need to use them for animals and want to make sure your children stay inside. There is a small pool in the backyard and children cannot be outdoors unsupervised.

Pool: The pool cover needs to remain on the pool at all times when not in use. This is for the safety of all guests as well as to keep the pool as clean as possible. There are many trees in the backyard and throughout the neighborhood and the leaves will gather quickly in the pool making it unclean as well as potentially clogging the filter. There will be an added fee of $50 if the cover is left off. Children must be supervised at all times.

The fireplace in the living room is not for use by guests. Do not turn the gas on at any time. Do not light any fires in the fireplace.

Backyard: This property is located close to a large woodsy area and so there will be nocturnal critters that will make their way into the yard. Squirrels love the sectional cushions and like to grab stuffing for their nests. If you see them trying, please shoo them away. There are additional cushions in the deck box just outside the dining room door. Please feel free to use them and return them when done. The cushions for the sectional stay on the sectional. If you are using the swinging hammock, please replace the cover on it before check out.

Gas Grill and Fire Table: These are both powered by propane. The grill needs to be lit with a lighter (located in the kitchen). The grill brush and spatula are located in the kitchen and are labeled as such. The fire table has a working starter. Please make sure that all propane is turned off and please put covers back on the grill and fire table after each use.

Sheets Towels and Blankets: There are extra sheets towels and blankets in each bedroom closet. The sheets for the futon are in the blue bookcase in that room. The sheets for the chairs that fold into beds (living room) are located in the bunk room closet.

Trash: The kitchen trash can is located to the left of the dishwasher. There are 2 trash bins in that cabinet. Please take trash out to the receptacle on the driveway and take all full trash receptacles to the street upon departure.


CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS: If check-out procedures are not followed and the property is left in poor condition you will be charged an excessive cleaning fee at a rate of $50/hr. Upon departing our home at the end of your visit:

Don't forget to sign our guestbook by the front door! :-)

Please turn the A/C back to 77 degrees (summer months) or 68 (winter months)

Put all dirty towels and sheets in the laundry room.

Take out all trash to waste receptacles on driveway and take receptacles to street

Turn lights off throughout the house

Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher

Make sure that all the doors are locked and the dog doors down.

Nice House, Great Location

Awesome family friendly home in a nice neighborhood.

We throughly enjoyed this beautiful home. The updates are nice and the backyard makes you want to hang out all day. The master suite is very nice. Only issue is some of the beds upstairs needed to be better cleaned. Overall a great stay! Would stay again when back in Austin.
