4 MILES FROM AIRPORT. 1.5 hour to YOSEMITE, 1.5 hour drive to SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK and closer to KINGS CANYON. 2 exits from FRESNO STATE and close to TRENDY EATERIES AND COFFEE SHOPS!
This is a one bedroom private home. All spaces inside are unshared. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed that will sleep 2. There is an air mattress available upon advance request at no extra charge. At around 800 total square feet this home is larger than a hotel stay but still on the smaller to side so I recommend (with air mattress) no more than 3 adults and one child. A $15 charge per day will be added for any more than 3 guests, adult or child.
Kitchen is sufficiently stocked with refrigerator, dishes, dish soap and dish towels.
Things to note:
There is a stray cat on the premises. Guests have been kind to this kitty so she may approach you for pets or food. There is cat food stored inside either under the kitchen sink or in the back wash room. If you are allergic I either recommend kindly shooing the cat away or avoiding this listing altogether. Thanks!
Are you looking to stay long term? 3 weeks or longer? If so great! We love long term stays, however please be advised that the best time to book an extended stay is at least 2 months in advance. Please check our calendar... if the dates seem unavailable unfortunately they may be.
This home is a duplex. There is an additional attached unit on this property. The portion that is available to you is the front street facing portion. Towards the back is the other unit.
****This back unit is also an Airbnb listing so you may see other guests on the same property, but never in the same space****
Noise- There is a school across the street and train tracks halfway down the block. Although noise from either is rarely complained about, I thought it might be worth mentioning!
Ring Doorbell-For our safety and for yours, we do have one Ring Doorbell for this property. The Ring Doorbell can be found facing the parking space in the front of the home as well as monitoring who comes and goes from the home. Footage is recorded but hardly monitored and I wish I didn't need to have cameras however, a few bad apples..
The neighborhood I would rate as a B or C due to the age and location. It is an older neighborhood. An example of what you may see include a few homes with unwatered grass (although the rain has recently been good to us) and every now and then a person with loud music walking around. There is an elementary school directly across the street so it is a block with a lot of attention to safety. If you prefer being around new neighborhoods with new construction, new homes and new landscaping this may not be the house for you. Just one block West of this neighborhood is Old Van Ness area which is a historical area of town with big beautiful homes and is one of Fresno's most desirable neighborhoods.
There are 2 parking spaces, one in driveway and one on street. Driveway is RV friendly but there is plenty of street parking that is highly encouraged for RV’s.
Policy on Pets- I gladly welcome all pets with a $35 per pet fee. This is to guarantee that all hair is taken care of for future allergy prone guests. Please notify me when booking your reservation :) No pets sleeping in beds or on couch please.

Policy on Long Term Stays- For each week of stay there is a $35 cleaning fee. Ex. If your reservation is for 8 days the cleaning fee will be for $70 instead of $35. The place can be cleaned weekly while you stay or you can opt for it to not be cleaned while you're there. Either way there will be a $35 charge per week to clean. It's been my experience that there is a lot of extra cleaning required to accommodate longer stay guests. Thank you for understanding!
