Updated 3 bedroom home comes fully furnished and appointed to make your stay as relaxing as possible! The home has a bedroom with queen size bed and another bedroom with a full size bed upstairs, separated by a full bathroom with tub and shower. Downstairs features a living room, dining room, kitchen, half-bath and a bedroom with full size bed. The home is centrally located in Rockford and is convenient to everything!
It's a 2 minute drive to grocery stores, Dunkin Donuts and Rockford’s best sushi and Mexican restaurants. Downtown Rockford shopping, IceHogs hockey, The BMO Center, Coronado Performing Arts Center and restaurants are only 5 minutes away and the East State Street Corridor, Hard Rock Casino Rockford, CherryVale Mall, Rockford Rivets baseball and Interstate 90 are only 10 minutes away.

More than cute and a feeling of true hospitality!

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean, tasteful decor. Nice-sized bedrooms. Loved being able to "walk away", not have to clean before leaving and appreciated a sense that the owners really strived for us to enjoy our stay. True hospitality all around!

Terrific, cozy bungalow for trip back home

This house is simply perfect if you enjoy a cozy, relaxing place to make and share meals, plan your next adventure, play games around the table, or just relax with a movie and some popcorn. The location was just right for our needs, as we traveled into Wisconsin, Galena, and Chicago. This one definitely makes our "favorites" list!

Calm and comfortable cottage!

What a beautiful property! This house was obviously set up and maintained with love. It is comfortable and convenient and was a great base for our weekend trip. The only very minor note I would mention is that if you are sensitive to fragrances, there are a couple plug-in air fresheners (easily unplugged), and the hand soaps and dish soap are all scented. Would definitely recommend this property!

Great Find - Will Be Back

The house was charming, cozy, immaculately clean and in a safe and convenient location. Super comfy beds, luxurious linens, and an exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Every detail thoughtfully addressed. Chris and Anna, who live next door, were responsive, available and just plain enjoyable company.

100% Genuine Hospitality

We stayed with Chris & Anna on the first leg of our 2,000 mile relocation trek. My husband was driving with all of our worldly possessions in a 26' Penske truck and I was with our puppy in our car. I was an exec in the hospitality industry for many years and we did not want to risk a moving truck break-in leaving the Penske in a hotel parking lot. Chris made sure that our truck would fit and made additional accommodations for our car. Communication was thoughtful, prompt, and caring. It is a very safe and quiet neighborhood. This home is nothing but adorable. Its renovations and decor nod to its historic aesthetic while being tastefully updated. The back porch is a beautiful garden-like space to enjoy brunch, coffee, or just a nice hangout. Chris and Anna have thought of everything with this home. The pre-filled and cooled Britta was a lovely surprise. If you are staying in Rockford, you can do no better than staying at this lovingly cared for and thoughtfully hosted home. Kudos, Chris and Anna. You are absolutely lovely hosts and are doing all the right things. We are endlessly in your debt for this haven from the road.

Cozy and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay here in Rockford. The beds and bedding were lovely. We all congregated in the kitchen nook for breakfast and we enjoyed reading together and watching a movie in the living room. The space was easy to navigate and the rooms were clean and well furnished. We would absolutely come back here again.

We are a family of 3 that have always dreamed of owning a rental home. Chris is the Manager of Event Presentation and Creative Services for the Rockford IceHogs hockey team, Anna is a Biology Teacher at Boylan Catholic High School and our daughter Monika is a student at Boylan Catholic High School. If we aren't at an IceHogs hockey game we are probably traveling to watch Monika play volleyball somewhere in the Midwest.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

After living next door to this house for 25 years, when the previous owner relocated to the East Coast we were excited to purchase this house, brining it back into the "family." In the early 1900's The Peterson's purchased the land both our house and this rental house sit on and in 1918 built the 2-story brick house that we currently live in. The Peterson's had 3 children- 2 daughters and a son. One daughter lived with her parents in their (our) house, the son got married and moved out of state, and the other daughter got married and in the 1950's built their house (this rental) on the land next door.

Being so close to the rental allows us to be attentive to any needs a renter may have. This house is centrally located in Rockford and in a very established and quiet neighborhood. It's conveniently located to many amenities like grocery shopping, restaurants and parks. Everything else you may need while in Rockford is less than a 10 minute drive.
