Cozy Cottage by the water - Private courtyard and inground pool

Hi! We're Dave and Beth. We moved from the Baltimore area to Southern Maryland several years ago. We found this property and knew we had to have it! We've put a lot of TLC into it to making it a warm and inviting oasis. We've always said "We want a life we don't need a vacation from" . . . and we found that life here. We love our neighbors (but we can't see them), we love the view, the pool, and the slower pace of life. We hope you will feel the same when you stay!! If you're looking for some down time to relax and enjoy nature, this is for you! We wake up every morning and just smile when we look out the window! The property is very private, the pool is refreshing with a beautiful view of the Patuxent River and the sloping grounds look down to an adorable barn. Enjoy coffee or wine in your private courtyard or poolside. In the Fall, we'll have you all set for a fire when you return from a day in Solomon's Island or touring the local wineries and breweries. Fix a meal or go to dinner . . . but don't forget to order something with crab!! Spring is also a great time to visit. Comfortable weather for all the great outdoor activities. All the greenery is fresh and the view is great! Even Winter can be great! Brisk walks on the property or on a local trail. The fire pit will still be working, and the room is warm and romantic!
