Perfect place for sweethearts

Our secluded and cozy cabin, Carra’s Cabin, is furnished with one bedroom, full sized bathroom and updated kitchen accommodations. The deck features a private Hot Tub, a grill and outdoor dining area for the perfect ending to a perfect day of exploring.

Carra’s Cabin is best suited for 2 adults, not suitable for children of any age. The driveway is steep at the bottom but levels off. Follow the driveway to the end for Carra’s Cabin. We have 2 other cabins on the property but each is secluded and private. The lockbox is located on the cabin near the hot tub and the key fits the french door.

Beautiful Secluded Cabin
Found property in a very clean state, Loved the small cabin vibes the secluded ness of it. The wifi service was great, the kitchen has plenty of utensils and cooking wear. Will definitely be back!!

My boyfriend and I came to Saluda for our anniversary and absolutely adored this rental! This is perfect for anyone looking to grill and enjoy a dip in the hot tub after a long day of hiking the trails in Saluda! Penny was very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely book this again!

Two Days in Saluda
First and foremost the drive in is difficult, i recommend a vehicle with good ground clearance. Take not off the street name. Houae is cute, hot tub was awesome, kitchen is well appointed but small. Bedroom and bathroom also small but I'm 6'5" and made it work. The little town of Saluda is very nice, Purple Onion is a great restaurant. Take time to see what is going on because this is a little artist colony worth visiting.

Great stay
The stay was great! The driveway was a little hard with the sedan we had brought, so I wish that there would have been a warning about this before booking. Besides that, it was very secluded and great for a weekend getaway with my partner!

So peaceful!
My husband and I brought our furbaby for a weekend getaway and Carra's Cabin did not disappoint! We hiked to Pearson Falls and then drove downtown for lunch. The town of Saluda is so picturesque and the shops are so quaint! Do not skip out on the restaurants here - The Purple Onion was phenomenal! We came back to the cabin for a relaxing evening in the hot tub. We felt so secluded from everything and yet were still close enough to town to enjoy the local atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again!

Such a sweet get-away!
We had a wonderful time in the secluded mountain atmosphere. The house was adorable and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The porch and hot tub were a real treat. We are looking forward to a return visit soon!

Nice Getaway
Very clean, cozy, and secluded...a perfect couples getaway! Cabin is surrounded by trees and the sound of the river flowing below was nice added ambience. We had a little bit of trouble finding it at night,but we did eventually find it. The drive up and back down is pretty steep but manageable. Saluda has some good food options, but the cabin was well supplied if you wanted to cook your own food. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great privacy
We had a much needed weekend get away. It was quiet. Close to Saluda but far from busyness. We enjoyed the close by waterfalls and town of Saluda over the christmas festive weekend. It was perfect.

this perfect little cabin was the best choice i choice have ever made!! Lovely little cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Finding it was a bit hard due to loss of signal. I recommend mapping it out first and screenshooting all directions on the map and on the listing. Even when we drove back into town we couldn’t get enough signal to view a map of the listing, but could make a phone call and after several attempts we were able to contact the property manager for assistance. The driveway is steeper than we anticipated in our little car. We were able to navigate it, but would have brought our 4Runner had we realized. I would say opt for your more powerful vehicle! That said, it was an adventure for us each time. Once arrived the cabin is as listed and was secluded and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and the bed was very comfortable. We cooked and all appliances worked well.

We have lived in Saluda for over 25 years. In the early 70’s Robert was Saluda’s first health care provider. After serving as the first Medical Director of the Saluda Medical Center he returned to his family occupation and his true passion…flying. His life as an ‘ag pilot’ has taken the entire family on remarkable journeys across the country for years. We love Saluda and nature and wanted to share that with others so we purchased the property and built Sandy Cut Cabins.

Nature is all around! Lots of hiking opportunities, tubing on the river, waterfalls, wineries, and Biltmore House are just some of reasons to visit Carra’s Cabin.

Secluded, quiet, peaceful, charming, river flowing along the road. The driveway is steep but 4 wheel drive/AWD isn’t required to drive up. Pickup trucks and hybrid vehicles tend to have more trouble with the incline. However, most of our guests manage to drive up without too much difficulty.
