The town is known for its vibrant festival scene, including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival (June), Telluride Jazz Festival, Telluride Film Festival (August) and Blues and Brews (September). it doesn't get much better than jamming out to live music in a setting like Telluride and all this only a block away from the condo!
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
In the summer, visitors enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and rafting, kayaking or tubing on the San Miguel River during the increased water flow during the spring snowmelt. The San Miguel River begins in the San Juan Mountains above Telluride and draws in a number of fly fishing enthusiast hoping to hook a fresh trout for dinner. One of the most popular summer activities in Telluride is hiking. Some local favorites, by level of difficulty, are the Telluride River Trail, Bear Creek Falls and Jud Weibe Trail, all in close proximity to the condo.
The main entrance is through double doors on the 1st floor leading into the mud area with ample storage space for bags, coats, boots etc. The open plan design also accommodates a large media room with seating area and 65" TV. There is also a laundry room, with washer, drier, sink and drying area. A walkway leads to the first 2 bedrooms.
MASTER BEDROOM
The 1st master bedroom has a queen bed, a walk in closet, Juliet balcony and en-suite bathroom with steam shower and double sink vanity.
DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM
The 2nd bedroom is a bunk room, with 4 single beds, closet and storage space, opposite is the family bathroom with soaking tub and overhead shower.
Stairs lead up to the 2nd floor open plan space which enjoys a modern, fully equipped kitchen with dish washer and a breakfast bar, plus 2nd lounge area with seating, a 2nd TV, and the dining area. Also on this floor are two additional bedrooms.
2ND MASTER BEDROOM
The 2nd master bedroom has a queen bed, walk in closet and Juliet balcony, and en-suite shower room.
UPSTAIRS BEDROOM
There is another bedroom on the 2nd floor with queen bed and closet space. Across the little hallway is the 4th bathroom with large shower.
Accordion doors in the dining area open onto the outside living space, with high bar and seating area, plus gas-grill. From here you can enjoy the stunning views of the 12,785 ft. iconic Ajax peak and take in the peace and tranquility of the box canyon setting. In the summer, you can make the track up to Ajax's summit if you're feeling adventurous. Be sure to catch the evening alpenglow, when the sunset casts a glorious pink hue up the peak. It really is picture perfect.
The home is equipped with WiFi and the 1st floor has radiant floor heating.
PARKING
There is parking for 2 cars in the garage underneath the condo. There is also lockable storage in the garage for ski and snowboard equipment. Please note that the 2nd vehicle parking space (marked Unit "C") is for compact cars only, less than 16 ft. long. Max garage entry height is 7 ft. There is a separate road parking pass for the W-Zone available if needed.

There is no need for a car within the town of Telluride. There are free busses (The Galloping Goose & SMART) that can take you around the town and there is a free Gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village.
The gondola consists of 2 parts and 4 stations. The first leg travels between Telluride and Mountain Village, beginning on Oak Street in the Town of Telluride and ending at Gondola Plaza in the Mountain Village core. The midpoint of the first leg is called the San Sophia Station. You can exit here and head to the slopes, hiking/biking trails, or Allred's Restaurant. Get right back on at the San Sophia mid-station to continue down to Mountain Village. The second part begins at the Gondola Plaza in Mountain Village and takes you to the Mountain Market grocery store, Mountain Village Post Office and the Mountain Village Town Hall.
