This beautifully renovated 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home has a 2 car garage with a privacy fence that will make you never want to leave!

The area is just minutes from Downtown, Children’s Hospital, OSU East Hospital , Capital University, The Trolley District , and countless restaurants and bars. The area is in the process of gentrification so if you like a true inner city atmosphere, you will appreciate and enjoy this as your home away from home.
The space
You will enjoy a spacious and secluded back yard with a sizable deck featuring seating/dining area and a fire pit.

Upon entry to the 1st level you will be met by a laundry/mudroom, open concept kitchen that features quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, coffee/expresso bar, with a large island that offers additional seating. The 1st level also has a living room, Smart TV, and half bathroom.

2nd level offers 3 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms! The 1st bedroom has bunkbed with a full on the bottom and twin on the top (technically sleeps 3). The 2nd room has a queen bed with a Smart TV, and closet space. The main suite has a queen bed, walk-in closet (selfie room), balcony, full bathroom with double vanity, double shower that has a waterproof Bluetooth speaker with mood light!

The 3rd level is off of the room with the bunkbed, watch you head as you go up the stairs to discover more living space! This level features a twin bed, futon, Smart TV, and office nook!

Whew, this place is loaded with well thought out amenities and wow factors galore, have fun exploring them!!!

Weekend stay in Columbus

We had a great weekend stay at this house. The house was very easily accessible from the main highway and not far from the city center. The garage was an added bonus, especially since we had frost in the morning. The outdoor space was very appealing also, however time constraints and the colder temperature prevented us from taking advantage of it. The house was spacious and well stocked with amenities. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine! We would highly recommend this house.

Nice house that fit our needs great!

Very well renovated house, I stayed here with my teammates on a trip for a meet! It was about six of us total and we all had somewhere to sleep which was great. All the amenities were as pictured and it was very nice overall. The neighborhood was definitely a little underdeveloped but to no fault of the home itself. Pretty close to downtown and within a good distance to all the important things! All in all a good stay and we were pretty content. Host was also very responsive and helpful the entire time which was great!

This place a so perfect for our stay . My two teenagers love that it’s close to the highway to go to the malls or other events. The area is great and quiet. Again the house is very clean and updated. We love it . Thank you again for having us .

Great weekend get away

Our family of 6 adults stayed for a football game and we enjoyed the house. It was cold and the garage was a wonderful asset. We appreciated the coffee already available for the morning and the snacks provided. We would definitely stay again if ever come back to Columbus.

Best home away from home for us

This was a great house for us. We were in town for appointments at Nationwide Childrens. As the listing notes, the house is minutes away from Nationwide Childrens (I can confirm it is literally 5 minutes away from the hospital). The house is easily accessed from the highway yet deeply set in a residential area. The neighborhood is actively evolving as there is new construction and renovations occurring throughout. There are also some very beautiful more historic homes in the area. The neighborhood is diverse and inclusive. We felt very at ease and comfortable in this house. It was literally the best home away from home we could have ever wanted. The backyard was amazing as well as the deck (unfortunately, the weather wasn't really cooperative so we didn't get to enjoy these amenities). The owners were fantastic to work with, very responsive, and so kind! Everything, beginning from the check-in process to the check-out, went very smoothly. As much as it pains me and upsets me, I do want to point out one very important thing: As the listing notes, this area is in the process of gentrification. This means that while the neighborhood is seeing an influx of more middle-class and higher individuals and/or families, there are also those who may be considered low-income that live in the area. If you are not willing to accept people of every age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, income, etc., don't stay here. The great people of this area don't need to be bothered.

Hollyhood - It's a compliment

This home is absolute wonderful. We only utilized w bedrooms, but there was more than enough room to accommodate others. We especially loved the upstairs loft. I've posted pics of our Xmas Eve dinner and folks have hit me up about the home, countertops, other decor they can see. I grew up in Westerville, so this area of town was the hood. Technically, it still is with a new name - Old Town East. Area was quiet and there are other homes being renovated in the area too. Patio eating too, man all they need is a pool!! LOVED IT. OH, the hosts are very responsive too, but you really won't need to bother them. The house runs itself..

Girl’s Weekend

My college (Miami of Ohio,1989) girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at this property! Everything was pristine and welcoming. Our host was so easy to communicate with and responsive to any requests. Definitely recommend this property!

Great Home

We booked for my husband’s birthday party which was held outside in the spacious backyard. The host was extremely responsive and very accommodating throughout the booking process and our entire stay. The home was lovely inside and the small touches from the coffee bar to kitchen necessities was a very nice plus. The home was clean aside from small nooks and crannies that the cleaning staff can sometimes overlook but we were very comfortable and had no concerns. Loved our stay!

Ohio family trip

The property is top notch, the host went above and beyond with making sure the basic supplies were available when we arrived. Most places have minimum toilet paper, paper towels, cups, plates and bowls. These host made sure we didn't want for any basic needs. I would highly recommend this host.

National Youth Convention-greatest Columbus convention center

Close to convention center. Very clean, true to pictures! Beautiful. Loved everything about it! Only thing that was a bit of an issue was that there's no want to enter the front door (no key pad to unlock front door). Once it's locked you have to go all the way around the fenced in area, then through the locked garage and in through the back door. Other than that great!

Overall very nice!

We had an enjoyable time here overall. The house, though older, has been mostly nicely renovated, with the master bath being the best feature. It was extremely well stocked with all necessities, and plenty of nice clean towels and linens. There was a minor issue noted upon arrival, but the host promptly attended the matter and was very communicative. Despite not being in the best of neighborhoods, I do recommend this VRBO and would consider staying there again.

Very nice rental, lots of unique touches throughout the house. Very good communication. Was very impressed about having snacks, coffee, and travel items. Will definitely stay at this property again. Owners made us feel very welcomed upon arrival with a thank you note.
