Our second stay - great spot

Lovely weekend getway

Missy was a fantastic communicator from the beginning. Her place was perfect for two families of four. The house is well kept and the perfect distance from town, hiking, Opus 40 and much more. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house, great experience

The property was beautiful, impeccably clean, and the hosts were lovely to work with. The only downfall is that there was no washer and dryer, and as a family of 4 with small children, that was a bit of an inconvenience. Otherwise, we had a great experience and would recommend.

In nature and near everything

House was spacious, clean, cozy. Kitchen well-supplied with equipment & condiments & spices. Ample outdoor space for playing and feels very remote. Pool a huge hit with the kids. Proximity to town and great restaurants and hiking. Host was very accommodating & helpful.

Perfect Home For Two Families

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying at Missy’s home and it was just as great as the first. We had ideal summer weather the first two days - went hiking on two beautiful trails nearby, grilled and lounged by the pool. The third day was cloudy and a bit rainy, so we took a short drive to Kingston where we went antiquing, shopping and ate out. We love the layout of the house, the comfy beds and backyard. Communicating with Missy is seamless. Look forward to returning!

Cute but no A/C

House is good. Bugs galore outside so hanging out out there was not an option. A/C broke, no communication from the owner after one email telling me there was a thermostat in living room. Like I’m an idiot. Seven people had to get ready for a cocktail party on Friday and a wedding on Saturday with no air. Saturday 6/22 was the hottest day so far this year in New York BTW.

Charming Home in a Convenient Location

Missy's home is exactly that; a real home. Unlike many of the sterile rentals out there, this house is warm, inviting, and has everything that you may need. It's also less than a 10-minute drive to Woodstock and a 15-minute drive to Saugerities, and we enjoyed exploring both towns. As a host, Missy was incredibly responsive and accommodating.

Comfortable and spacious place near Woodstock and Saugerties

We came for a Fall weekend break - two families with 5 kids and a dog in tow. Plenty of room for everyone - and very comfortable. Just a short drive to both Woodstock and Saugerties (recommend Good Night if you like Asian food!) Missy was communicative and check in was smooth and easy. All good!

Friends and cocktails in the woods!

Six friends decided to spend a weekend in the country. We were going to the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck on Sunday and thought it would be fun to drive up on a Friday night and hang out with good friends, good food, and yummy cocktails. The house is beautiful, clean, and well-stocked. The bedrooms were warm and inviting, the grounds beautiful, and the decor, stunning. We loved the vibe of the house. The house is in close proximity to Woodstock and so we took advantage to shop and dine there. The host of the house is very communicative. The entire process was seamless and painless. I would like to stay there again in the summer, to enjoy the beautiful inground pool! Go! You won't regret it!

Lovely getaway

Our stay was beautiful and fun! Had a great time using the pool and the fire pit, and stargazing at night in the backyard. The house is cozy, cute, and spacious, and we had a great time hanging out and playing games. Missy made check in super easy and was very easy to get in touch with. Very fun! Would definitely come back to Woodstock to stay again!

Perfect upstate summer weekend!

We loved our stay at Missy's home/pool with our friends and dogs and hope to return again! The house was comfortable, clean, aesthetic and well stocked with everything we could need and more. We especially enjoyed making s'mores by the fire pit, grilling on the bbq and lounging by the pool. The location is great - we took advantage of nearby hiking trails, restaurants in Woodstock and Saugerties and take-out for yummy pizza and bagels. Communication with Missy was easy and reliable. We've rented many houses for upstate getaways and this is definitely one of our favorites.

Connection and privacy

The property is natural, private, and spacious. It’s conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Woodstock which offers fun dining and shopping! It’s a great place to connect with friends or family yet allows for private space as well. Excellently decorated rooms and extremely comfortable furniture. Great amenities! :) Dog friendly. We had such a great time!! Thank you so much! I highly recommend staying at this cabin for an amazingly fun and/or relaxing time!

Woodstock Retreat

My friends and I stayed at this property for a weekend of music at Levon Helm Studios. It was the perfect place to gather and relax. The house is charming and nicely decorated. It felt like a home away from home. It was very clean and the mattresses, pillows and bed linens were very comfortable. The bathrooms are newly renovated and have all of the amenities. The kitchen was stocked with all you would need to cook a meal. The location is great, very close to town and restaurants. I definitely want to return when the weather is nicer to take advantage of the beautiful deck, outdoor area and pool. Missy was super helpful and responsive. I can't say enough good things, we had the best time. This is the perfect home for your next getaway!

Hi,
I am a nature lover living in a big city with my family and beagle, Bill Murray. I bought this home to have a personal retreat to share with my family and friends. I love to cook and entertain, watch the birds and spend evenings roasting marshmallows in front of the fire with the kids. I also, spend a lot of time gazing at the stars in a hammock on our porch.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Growing up in the Northeast has given me a deep appreciation for all four seasons. I love seeing the leaves turn in the fall, the lushness of summer, snowshoeing through blankets of snow in winter and seeing the flowers bloom in spring. Living in Philadelphia limits our experience. It not only has a brief fall and spring but a non-existent winter. The Catskills have always been the perfect place to experience each transition.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

I think the reason we bought this house was because all of the trees surrounding the property. They keep the house cool and shaded in the summer and protected and warm in the winter. We also, love the layout. It's nice and compact with a nice open floorpan that is great for entertaining. We have stayed with 3-4 families without it ever feeling crowded. I love that it's on a dead end without a ton of traffic passing through. It's great for the kids to ride bikes or to take a walk in nature without having to drive anywhere.
