Accommodating up to 6 guests & up to 2 pets (with a pet fee), we’ve got the perfect spot for your Destin vacation with friends or family. The Space:
**We cannot stress enough for all potential guests to read our listing & rules in full detail before booking, to ensure our place is satisfactory for your needs. While we have created a budget friendly, fresh, & cozy space inside, there are some limitations that are beyond our control. We understand that our home is not for everyone & want our guests to have the best experience when choosing to book with us!!**
When you arrive, you'll access the condo by one flight of stairs (sorry, no elevator) & enter "So Fire, So Good" with a code on our keyless entry keypad, for added convenience! You'll walk right in to the living room that welcomes you with a very serene vibe. We offer a comfortable queen sleeper sectional, and a a cozy recliner to kick up your feet after your travels in. We've added a brand new Smart Tv. Guests can feel free to login to their own medias (Netflix, YouTube, Etc) during your trip as well! Enjoy a night in with your group playing one of our many board games offered. Lastly, our favorite feature is the electric fireplace nestled right under the tv, with its various lighting features it will be sure to warm your mood, no matter what the occasion of your stay!
Our entire back wall of sliding doors encompasses the condo with an ample amount of natural light. The view of the lake is unobstructed, and one of the best in the community. Guests will find there is easy access to the small patio to sit and sip a cup of coffee in the sunshine at the patio table! Our laundry room is located right off the patio, with a brand new full sized washer & dryer, iron, and ironing board-no need to go to the laundromat or take a suitcase of dirty clothes home!
Our kitchen area is perfect for eating in during your stay at "So Fire, So Good". Everything is a full open concept to the living room with three metal stools at the beautiful quartz breakfast bar for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, a full spice rack, standard coffee maker, Keurig, Crockpot, air fryer, griddle, blender, and more! A small pantry shelf area is also available for storing anything needed during your stay. We have an easy to use high chair, and plastic dinnerware, utensils, & cups for our little travelers as well!
Directly off the living area you can find a truly restful spot in our modern beach house styled bedroom with a plush King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. Our second electric fireplace here offers various options for ambient lighting with or without heat, to add that extra luxury touch of zen to your stay! A Roku enabled tv here is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. Feel free to even plug in your phone bedside with our USB ports conveniently located in each lamp! A pack and play is also always available at the condo for families with little ones traveling-one less item to pack!
The bathroom offers a shower & tub combo with stunning tile throughout, a spacious vanity area, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. We've designed this space with the amenities we've desired to have when we travel-all the comforts of home (and not a cramped & cold hotel feel) to ensure our guests have a top notch experience at So Fire, So Good!
While we are not walking distance to the beach, there is public beach access within 3/4 mile at June Decker Public Beach Access, and extremely family friendly Henderson Beach State Park 1.6 miles away.
We also offer the convenience of having two entrances to our complex! The main entrance allows you to drive directly onto the main road through Destin, and another allowing you to exit onto a side road near a stop light when traffic gets a little crazy in our small town!
You're in the best spot within our gated community for easy access to amenities as well! There are tennis courts, just bring along your gear to play to your heart's content. One of three community pools is located next to the tennis courts & as an added bonus this is the only pool that is seasonally heated! The other two pools are located on either side of the bridge overlooking the lake. Guests can also enjoy our small lake that offers a quaint feel for an evening stroll. Take an opportunity to peek over the bridge at the abundance of turtles that call this space home! Lastly, guests can enjoy charcoal grills throughout the complex for any meals they'd like to grill out.
A few important things to keep in mind:
-Our home is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival & we attempt to catch every detail. If something needs attention upon check-in, please notify us ASAP so that we can properly address the issue. Please keep in mind that we are a small business that strives for the best, and that cleaning is done by fallible humans. Although we have a stellar cleaning crew, mistakes happen, and they are happy to remedy anything that was overlooked.
-We supply all linens for your stay (to include beach towels). Our cleaners offer a courtesy supply of LIGHT amenities (a trash bag, roll of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish detergent, & laundry soap). If you have a trip longer than 24 hours, or are coming with a larger group please plan ahead & bring any extra items you anticipate needing during your stay
-We do not permit one night bookings/instant booking for weekends/holidays at any time.
-Extra guests not included in the reservation are not tolerated, please book with accurate guest count for your stay and to ensure we’ve provided enough linens as well.
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-Smoking is not permitted on the balcony or near the building at any time.
-While we do host groups 25 years or younger at our discretion, we must be notified before your confirmed booking. We do not host one night bookings for ages 25 and younger at any time.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. We do not accept more than 2 dogs, and pets must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after inside and out. Pets are not permitted on furniture at any time. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are still subject to pet fee. False information regarding a service animal is against the law in our state, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.
-We are NOT beachfront, you can't see the beach, you can't stick your toes in the sand from the front door, and you do have to get in your vehicle to drive to the PUBLIC beach access that is 3/4 mile from our condo. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location.
-This is a mixed community with residential & short term guests alike. While the gated community itself is a "community in transition" with updates to the exterior being improved steadily, we do not have control over any "look" of the exterior of our condo. We have gone above & beyond to create a beautiful & cozy space INSIDE for our guests enjoyment!
