Wonderful stay and a great location.

Description of property was spot on. Great location to downtown and the beach. Excellent communication with the owner. It is a steep hill, but both of us are 55 years old and we went up and down numerous times a day without issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Beautiful place 5’ stars

What can’t I say about our stay at Greg’s casita in Sayulita. Pictures don’t do the place justice the amazing views, the cleanliness, loved the privacy and pool. A quick walk to town, great bars, beach and eateries. We honestly cant wait to book our return trip and stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at the casita. Greg was such an accommodating, friendly, and responsive host. There is a steep hill, but we had no problem with it. It's in a very convenient location close to the center of town which was great. You can definitely hear music from the town at night, but I used a white noise app and had no problem sleeping. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was more charming than the pictures and description made it seem. Greg was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Views were outstanding and place was cozy an clean. Highly recommend.

I love the place very nice had everything you need it was a workout going up and down the hill but if you are in shape it’s not a problem. I would definitely book again .

Great Property

We had a great time in Sayulita and Casita #4. The views are amazing and the pool came in handy on hot days. We had a couple minor issues and they were resolved immediately. The road to the Casita is definitely steep so keep that in mind. The steep road leads to awesome views, however.

Casitas Del Mar - words cannot describe!

My Casita exceeded expectations...view was incredible, the place was fantastic, much larger and spacious than I thought (I can usually tell by pics), had everything you needed and more. Greg, the host, was extremely hospitable, gracious and provided me with the best recommendations to truly enjoy my time in Sayulita. His Manager Jose was also wonderful, thoughtful and a great resource. In 20+ VRBOs, I have never engaged this much (and thoroughly enjoyed) with a host before, so much so I plan to come back in February. 5 stars, only because there isnt an option for 6...!

Love sayulita

I loved where we stayed. Jose Manuel was so sweet. The view was amazing especially with the lightning storms we got to watch from our balcony. Loved dipping in the pool to cool off when we got home. Kinda fell in love with a neighbors kitty. She is so sweet. The hill is a little bit of a workout but we got a golf cart which made it fun.

Lovely!

My husband and I stayed here for a week. It was absolutely lovely. Like others have said- there is a bit of noise and hill to climb to get to the house. The hill is quite steep but does have some stairs so it’s not too bad! The music is loud at night but we just played some music to go to bed. The private pool is delightful and the house has everything you could need. If staying in Sayulita this is a great property and so close to the main town square but far enough out of the business that you feel at peace!

Engagement getaway

Sayulita is a beautiful, lively town. The accommodations were wonderful. We loved having the tiny pool directly outside of the bedroom. The views of the town and the beach made it extra special. We would highly recommend staying! Just bare in mind, that it is at the top of a steep hill and your calves will be burning.

Heaven on Earth

This place is amazing. The location is excellent--you can walk everywhere. The beach and food and bars are all a few steps away. The casita itself is beautiful and the pool and outdoor areas have an awesome view. We made friends with an iguana that kept walking back and forth! The host was amazingly helpful--he reached out to make sure everything was OK (it was). I will say though that the hill that is mentioned is no joke. The casita and view are worth it for sure and I will stay here again, but I did find myself gearing up for it...after stuffing myself with great food and drinks it took some mental toughness. LOL. but again, I can't stress enough that the climb was totally worth it and I felt a little less guilty about my many indulgences throughout the trip each time we made it to the top. This is a must stay in Sayulita.

Amazing Views

We loved staying here! The listing was spot on. We were prepared to walk the hill every time we left the house and by the time our stay was over we could walk it no problem. Having everything within walking distance was awesome. The pool gets some sun between 1-4 and warms it up. We spent most of our time in the loungers on the covered patio taking in the views! The house never got too hot, but we did close the bedroom door and run the a/c in the room at night to stay comfortable. We tried several restaurants that Greg said were his favorite and they did not disappoint! Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely book again next time we are in the area.

We loved our stay at Casa Delos Perros!

We had a lovely week in Sayulita,very relaxing and we were very pleased with Greg's casita. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us, very clean, well maintained and with the lovely view promised in the listing.The walk to the beach is short but you do need to be in reasonably good physical condition to stay here because the hill is steep. This was not an issue for us but just a heads up for people. This hill is San Francisco steep! Greg was not in residence when we were there but he answered email queries quickly and provided excellent instructions to access to the casita upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again. Lynn

A wonderful place to visit

Lovely casita with expansive view of Sayulita and the ocean. We were appreciative of the air conditioning at night and the sound of the waves during the day. The bed was comfortable and design of the casita and art was lovely. Even in May the deck is in the shade much of the day. Due to the heat, the steep climb to the casita (which was described) was challenging ....but it was fun to stop part way up to observe the iguanas. One issue that we were unprepared for was the noise - the sound of live or canned music most nights. Fortunately the air conditioner in the bedroom masked the noise. Overall a great place to relax.

perfect getaway for 2

We really enjoyed our stay in the Casita. The house itself is set at the top of a very steep driveway, giving it a great view and comfortable breezes. It is less than a 5 min stroll to the heart of little Sayulita. The home is pristine (cleaner 2x/week) and very comfortable. The owner, Greg, lives upstairs if you need anything, but you have a total sense of privacy while overlooking the beach and town. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in, and the water to the house is filtered, but it's a great town to go out and wander into great restaurants and cafes. Sayulita is a very friendly beach town. We visited shortly after a big storm had taken out the town bridge and just before high season started. You could tell the village was quickly cleaning itself up from the storm and the restaurants were gearing up for the season. We visited other beach towns and felt hassled by beach vendors, whereas in Sayulita everyone was just a little friendlier and less aggressive, and shows a real pride in the town. We'll be back!

This message is about Greg, the VRBO owner, rather than about his place where I never ended up staying. To make a long story short, I was considering booking his place for a cousins wedding in San Pancho, 15 minutes north. By mistake I pressed something and VRBO said "you're booked"! I was not ready to book as I was considering places closer to the wedding location in San Pancho. I instantly messaged Greg that my booking was a mistake and requested to cancel. Greg missed the message as can happen in life. 5 months later, I was charged in full as if I had stayed and I got a VRBO message "how was your stay?". I contacted Greg and he reversed the charge and reimbursed me in full. Not something you want to happen as a VRBO owner, but Greg was honest and came through. Hope to stay at his place one fine day! It looks beautiful in a great location!

This property is gorgeous!I love that there’s no kids allowed. The walk up the hill is a great workout, you’ll get used to it. The mattress is VERY hard, like bring a foam sheet or something it’s a rock. The view is gorgeous, the amenities inside are amazing, everything you need! The shower doesn’t have any ledge so water goes everywhere, besides those few fixes it’s a 10/10.

The casita is great!

There are SO many wonderful things to say about the casita! Greg and his staff are kind and super easy to communicate with. They were happy to help when/if needed. Obviously, as folks have mentioned, the view a from the patio is amazing. We spent lots of time there. The place is clean and the bed is comfy! The pool is nice and the tortoises are sweet. (They loved our compost!) There are many artistic touches, both in the casita and on the property. We made the climb to the casita a few times each day, and it was a good workout;) There were a couple of detractors- The noise from the music at night was disturbing and ear plugs didn’t help much, but we’re old and sleep is a big deal. It was EVERY night, and went til 2am sometimes. The cocina is cute, but needs little things to make it way better: a corkscrew, for sure. The lid on the pot we used was broken. Still, much more positive than negative!! Thanks for sharing, Greg.
