Captivating and Desirable! Those words could not be truer when describing this beautifully renovated, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath pet friendly beach house located in Ocean Lakes here in Myrtle Beach, SC. Guests should note that this home is approximately 800 square feet in size and is great for a group of 4-6. Although the home is small, the layout was modified for the ultimate guest satisfaction. The home is a single-story, stick built home, and is not a mobile home like many others in the community. As of 2024, the driveway area has been expanded and there is ample parking for 2 cars, trucks, and/or SUV's.
As of Winter 2023, this home has been beautifully renovated and features some of the most magnificent updates! To start, the home features new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, including new baseboards and trim. The entire interior was repainted with warm and welcoming colors! The kitchen has been completely remodeled and offers newly refinished cabinets, oversized granite countertops, a large island with bar stools, new backsplash, and more. The cabinets have been fully stocked with all basic kitchenware and cooking supplies that our guests will need. A brand-new, stainless-steel appliance set has been installed that features a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, stove/oven, overhead microwave, and dishwasher. The living area has been furnished with brand new furniture that include two sofas, new coffee table and end tables, and beautiful pieces or decor and artwork. The focal point of the living room is the LED, color-changing fireplace that has been installed into a beautiful, shiplap wall that was custom built! Both bathrooms have been completely updated! Lastly, the driveway was expanded to allow better parking!
"Coastal Cottage" is located within Ocean Lakes Campground, a prime vacation spot! This house is just down the street from the beach and a short walk or ride to many restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
This beach house features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, oversized deck, living room, queen sleeper sofa, full kitchen, full size stainless appliances, washer and dryer, and enough bedding to accommodate 6 guests comfortably. The bedrooms will accommodate 2 guests in each bedroom, and there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
There are 2 spacious bedrooms inside the home. It's rare to find homes that have master bedrooms that feature king size beds and private bathrooms!
Bedroom 1: This bedroom is at the back of the house on the left side. This bedroom features a queen bed and is perfect for 2 guests. The bed is on a raised bed frame that allows for luggage storage underneath. There is a ceiling fan and window for natural lighting. Guests will have access to a closet, new dresser, new nightstands, Smart TV with cable, and access to a full-size bathroom. The bathroom has been completely updated with a tiled shower with glass doors, fresh paint, new vanity and countertop, new light fixture, and more.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom is at the back of the house on the right side. This bedroom features a king bed and is perfect for 2 guests. There is a ceiling fan and window for natural lighting. The bed is on a raised bed frame that allows for luggage storage underneath. Guests will have access to a closet, new dresser and nightstands, Smart TV with cable, and access to a full-size bathroom. The bathroom features a new tub/shower, new vanity and countertop, fresh paint, and a new light fixture.
In between the bedrooms, guests will have access to a laundry room that offers a full-size washer and dryer.
Living Room: The living area is located immediately upon entering the house. The living room features multiple seating options, sofas, and an accent chair. Guests will have access to a smart TV with cable, new coffee table, new end tables, ceiling fan, windows that provide great natural lighting, and more. Our guests will absolutely love the shiplap wall and LED, color-changing fireplace! One of the sofas converts to a queen sleeper, which will allow this house to accommodate up to 6 guests. The living area was newly renovated in 2022 and all furnishings were installed new at that time.
The kitchen sits just off from the living area, and guests will enjoy brand new, full-size, stainless-steel appliances and spacious cabinets for storage. The kitchen offers a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, top-mounted microwave, 2-compartment sink. The appliances are brand new as of Winter 2022! All cabinets were refinished in 2022, along with a new kitchen sink and faucet and a brand-new island that features bar stools. New countertops were installed. Lastly, in Winter 2023 a new backsplash was installed that really tie everything together.
Pack light! We provide our guests with 8 towels, 8 washcloths, 1 hand towel, 1 bathmat, soap shampoo, lotion, and conditioner per bathroom. Bedding, pillows, linens, and everything you will need to enjoy your stay are included. We will also provide basic "starter toiletries" that include toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid, soap, and more!
The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and bedding. We truly want to make your experience with us as affordable as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid staying cleaning requests for a small fee.
Since this unit is a pet friendly unit, please be advised of our pet policy! Guests are allowed to bring a max of 2 pets. Only dogs or cats are allowed. There is a 1-time pet fee of $250. There are no size restrictions; HOWEVER, Ocean Lakes does NOT allow rottweilers or pit bulls. Pets are not permitted on the living room furniture. All pets must be crated when the guest leaves and the pets are left inside the home, unattended. Maintenance or housekeeping will not enter the property to perform services if pets are not crated. Failure to comply with the pet policy or house rules may result in additional charges, or even eviction. Your pet must be on a leash at all times. Leashes must not exceed 6 feet in length. You must clean up after your pets. Ocean Lakes will impose a $100 fine if not. No loud or unruly behavior tolerated.

Security is 24/7 and strictly enforced. You must be on a list and have a pass to even enter the campground. This is a great thing! The strict entry rules combined with the numerous security personnel will make you feel SAFE at Ocean Lakes Campground.
* Parking permits, obtained at the park Office, allow you authorized entrance and access to amenities to the park during your stay. Permits are $12 a day (per vehicle) and must be displayed in the windshield for security to observe.

This beach house is in a prime location in Ocean Lakes. Guests love location and proximity to the beach, shopping, dining, live music, and so much more. This property is also only a few blocks from the beach; a short walk or golf cart ride! Once you have obtained your parking passes and proceed through the security gate, take the first road on the left. Follow that road to the stop sign and take a left at the stop sign. Go to the very end and take a left. Coastal Cottage (Site 8026) is located about 3/4 of the way down on the left-hand side of the road. We recommend using this same path when exiting to avoid getting lost!
