LOCATION
The Gulf Place community is located along a 26-mile stretch of sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast. This delightful community on 30A is comprised of 25 acres located in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach on the corner of 30A and 393. Nestled in the heart of this vibrant area, this rental offers a perfect blend of convenience and luxury. Just steps away from a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options in Gulf Place, you'll have everything you need for a memorable vacation. Take a short stroll to the nearby beach or relax on the private balcony overlooking scenic Highway 30A. Shunk Gulley's is located right across the street, and several boutique shops like YOLO, Sunrise coffee, and more are just below. There are two beach access points with Ed Walline Regional Beach Access just down the road to the left and private beach access directly across the street.

BEACH ACCESS
Dedicated beach access is located directly across the street and a public beach access is just down the road at the corner of 30A and 393.

AMENITIES
There are 3 pools located on the property and 2 tennis courts. Charcoal grills are located near the pool and tennis courts. All amenity passes must be left in the condo on check-out. There will be a $30 dollar charge/for any missing passes.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
1. Sheets & Bath Towels Included. Bring your own beach towels.
2. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking/eating utensils. Bring your own spices and food.
3. Starter set of Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Garbage Bags, Laundry/Dishwasher Detergent, Kitchen/Bath Soaps, Shampoo and Body Wash. Depending on your length of stay, you may need more.

CONTACT-LESS CHECK-IN
There is an electronic door lock located on the front door. On the day of arrival, you will receive the access code by text message to the phone number on file once the home has been cleaned and inspected. You will receive this code by check-in time.

PARKING
There is parking available for 2 vehicles. No trailers/boats/motorhomes/RVs allowed. Parking is on a first come, first served basis.

We practice rigorous standards in compliance with CDC cleaning guidelines, providing a safe home to keep our guests healthy and homes clean. Please contact us if you have questions.

IMPORTANT RULES - PLEASE NOTE
1. The primary renter must be 25 or older and be present for the entire stay.
2. No Pets.
3. No Smoking of any kind in the condo. Gulf Place is also a smoke-free environment. This includes: no smoking of any kind on the grounds, walkways, balconies, patios, parking lots, sidewalks, boardwalks, or the beach.

Violation of any of these rules will result in immediate eviction with NO refunds and any damage mitigation/repair/replacement will be charged to the guest.

Convenient location, OK condo
This condo is fine - close to restaurants and shops which is great at the expense of being very noisy early in the morning when dumpsters, etc. are serviced. The beach access directly across from this location is closed-not a huge deal but worth mentioning you do have to walk left to the public access or right to the next Gulf Place access down the street. We did not find the bed comfortable at all and the living room only has the one couch. I understand the condo is small and only for a few people but this family of three could not sit comfortably for any extended period of time. No TV service other than streaming and the internet was spotty at best. Balcony is large and nice but, again, cheap uncomfortable outdoor furniture made it difficult to enjoy. All these factors added up to us leaving a day early. When the weather was sunny and we could spend our entire day on the beach the condo was good enough but as soon as the weather turned and we were having to stay in for any length of time it just did not suite our needs very well.

We enjoyed the place & location of this property. However, the management company was very rude and unprofessional. We decided to walk down to the beach access and checked our email to find the gate code. There wasn’t a code so we texted the number that was provided and asked for the gate code to beach. They responded with “Let’s read the white welcome binder in the living room”. Then never responded so we were locked out of beach and had to go all the way to public access. They never responded til the next day. Elizabeth was nice. Not sure who else we were chatting with but they had a terrible attitude and should probably quit their job since they hate it so much. Also, pretty noisy due to trash pick up at 6 am.

Queen bed?
We really loved your place with the exception of the bed! It says it’s a queen but it’s a double bed which wouldn’t be horrible if it was a decent mattress. We actually left a day early due to the fact that the bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. The location is perfect! The condo is very clean. The bathroom sink is still banking up. I read this on a preview review but I assumed that would’ve been fixed but it was not fixed.

Mama Tried and Loved It!
I was in love the moment I saw the well thought out entryway with cubbies, baskets & coat hooks, the high ceilings and wall of windows in the living area down the hall. The condo was exceptionally clean. The decor is modern, textural and tastefully coastal. Kitchen well stocked with cookware/drinkware/plates/utensils. Closet held plenty of hangers, extra pillows & blankets. Owner even thoughtfully provided books and playing cards. The shower was beautifully tiled, with a big rain shower head fixture.The terrace is amazing, I loved sitting outside & listening to live music from nearby Shelby’s & Shunk’s Oyster Bar. Although it’s a busy location during the day it’s surprisingly quiet after hours. Can’t rave enough about the convenience of being located steps away from restaurants, shops, and of course the beach! Having private gated beach access is something you don’t want to skimp out on. Only minor notes to mention with regards to the condo: there was a little wear & tear on the sofa, the fridge, the tile floor, but I feel that’s pretty common in a vacation rental and it wasn’t enough to blunt the overall loveliness of the place. The mattress was a little boggy-could use a firmer one, and maybe some blackout drapes in the bedroom. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect, and I look forward to rebooking and enjoying another stay here in the future!

Just Book It Already
The perfect spot for a girls weekend on 30A! Great location to everything in Santa Rosa, 3 minute walk to beach with option to rent chairs, coffee shop and bike rental directly below, what else do you need!? Oh and the price will beat anything else in the area. Loved chilling on front deck watching the ocean after a day on the beach. Can’t recommend enough.

Location location location!
I booked this condo for a small girls trip and cannot recommend the location enough. Door to toes in the sand is a 2 minute walk. Mama Tried has a spacious balcony and is located above really cute beach shops, restaurants and a beach and SUP Board rental shop. It was extremely clean and well decorated too!

We have stayed in this area multiple times as we love Santa Rosa Beach. The unit overall was fine but had some issues. When we arrived I noticed the white couch was quite stained, the grout in between the bathroom and kitchen tiles was missing in multiple spots, and the bottom glass shelf in the refrigerator was missing. The wood floor was terribly scratched by the front door and in the kitchen and just didn’t look nice. The ceiling in the living room had splatter stains on it as well. When I reached out about the overall appearance of the unit I was told they would schedule a deep clean after we left. The balcony was wonderful but calling it a partial ocean view is a stretch to say the least. You can only see the water in between a small space in the 3-4 story units across the street. The TV in the living room is a smart TV and worked great. The TV in the bedroom was hooked up to a cable service but every time we tried watching it at night it would freeze up so we didn’t even turn it on after the second night. The bed was quite comfortable. There was no storage in the shower other than a tiny soap ledge so all out shampoos and what not had to be placed on the floor. There was no where for clothes in the bedroom other than a single closet with 10-12 hangers but we were able to use a storage shelf in the bathroom for shorts and t-shirts. The washer and dryer is full size and very nice! We did not cook a ton but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked. There was a collection of plastic cups that had clearly been melted when placed in the dishwasher but were then placed back in the cabinets which I found odd. The beach access code we were originally sent was wrong but this was fixed with a quick email to the company. The shower did not work by our beach access but we did find a facet on the side of the building next to our unit we could use to rinse our feet. The worst thing about the unit was the noise. Every morning the garbage trucks would come through at 6:30 am and wake us up with banging and crashing for 30-40 min. We have stayed in the building just down from this unit and did not have this issue there. The unit was not booked on the day we were leaving so the business allowed us a discounted rate for an additional night to allow for a late check out which was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately I would not stay in this particular unit again due to better experiences with other units I have had in the same area for the same price.

Can't beat it!
We really enjoyed our stay at Mama Tried. You can tell this place has been well cared for. The bed was comfortable, patio HUGE, and private beach entrance across the street was AWESOMELY helpful since it's a very popular area. We spend most of our time on the beach when we go to 30A, but there are a ton of pools in the complex that you have access to if you prefer. There's also a really cool little market in Gulf Place called Steve's back on Spires Lane. It's kind of hidden away, but they have all kinds of stuff like dips, ice, snacks, produce, etc. They're all so nice and helpful in there, I promised I'd mention them in my review! Shelby's is brand new downstairs from the unit for frozen drinks and food, and you're just right down the road from the famous STINKY'S in Dune Allen. They have the actual restaurant and then the bait shack for live music, which is one of our favorites. The best part about this place is that you can literally walk down the stairs to get a coffee, have a sit down meal, beach service that doesn't require you to lift a finger, rent bikes/boards, go on a walk on scenic 30A. YOU NAME IT. Best value we've seen in so long down this way. Jump on it! We'll be back.

Loved it
I’ve stayed in many communities on 30a and this one was just as perfect as the others. You don’t have to get in your car for a thing if you don’t want to. We walked to Shunk Gulley for live music Friday night, breakfast at The Perfect Pig, grabbed a coffee at the coffee shop, lunch at Shelby’s and an amazing dinner at Vue on 30a Saturday night. Cute shops near by too. There is a convenient store in the complex if you forget anything. Perfect little get away for me and the hubby (although we could have comfortably brought our kids along too). Info to know-has a small coffee maker (traditional style). I always like to know this for packing. ;)

Awesome Location!
I love this place! The location is perfect, and you can see the water from the living room! Not only is it steps away from the beach, but there are great restaurants and music venues in both directions. Awesome spot for morning walks, coffee dates, and happy hour. Good vibes all around; peaceful atmosphere, big tv for football games, and open living space. You won’t want to leave!

Perfect stay!
Thank you for a perfect stay! Having the true one bedroom directly across from the beach is so convenient. The condo is stocked with everything you need. You can rent chairs and umbrellas for a reasonable fee directly at the bottom of the private beach access, Shunk Gulley liquor and wine is in the complex for the pre-beach cooler pack up, YOLO is directly downstairs for boards and bikes. The unit is on the corner so noise is minimal. We are fans and look forward to returning soon. Clean and cozy! I could live here. Thank you so much.
