Welcome to the lake! This property offers plenty of peaceful views, fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking and centrally located to the Ark, Creation Museum and plenty of restaurants and shops.

Our property has Kid and Adult Kayaks, Lake floats and life vests available for use.

Easy parking to the front door, and poured concrete steps down to the dock/lake.

The dock has plenty of room to tie off a boat and has a 25 x 12 foot covered bar area with hi-speed WiFi and smart TV.

Williamstown lake also has a full service marina with a great restaurant, live entertainment and pontoon rentals.

Wonderful for family of 4 - 2 young boys loved back yard. Bunk beds pull out sofa option. Close to Ark. Good communication with owner.

We appreciated Donny's quick replies to all questions we had & his willingness to share kayaks, etc. & texts of fish that were the "catch of the day" by other guests. The location was ideal to be able to get to the Ark Encounter & then get back to the fun activities at the lake (side note - driveway is very steep). Even though we only stayed a day & a half, my family enjoyed hours fishing (both day & night); listening to the sounds of nature around the lake; & watching the boats out on the main part of the lake. Donny is accurate with the amenities description on the site, but I had overlooked the cottage not having a washer/dryer on site. We were on a long road trip & had been planning on doing laundry at the different properties we stayed at. Most of the other properties we had looked at had them, so I had honestly quit looking specifically for that amenity. We made it work as our KY part of the trip was our 2nd to last stop; just something to consider if that amenity is a "deal breaker" for you (especially if you plan on doing lots of water activities & want to do laundry). I kept the 5/5 as it was not listed & it was my error for not noticing it was not available. Another "feature"/highlight not listed, but that was a wonderful surprise & certainly added to the value of this location (IMO) was being able to see both the sunrise (looking out to the lake from the dock) and the sunset (looking the opposite way from the dock) - lots of photo-ops :)

Perfect Stay

We came to the area for the Ark Encounter and found this place on the lake. Perfect place to stay. The house and dock and everything about it was either new or very well taken care of. Loved the use of the paddle boards and kayaks. Had a great time fishing and relaxing. The lake area was beautiful. Will recommend to friends.

Peaceful Place to Stay

My husband and I stayed at this cabin while visiting The Ark and other attractions in the area. It was perfect for us in every way. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Although we did not do much cooking, it appeared all cooking utensils were provided. Donny was a wonderful host and checked with us every day to see if we needed something. This place is a 👍

Home Away From Home

We loved our time at Paradise Cove! The cabin is quaint & cozy with everything you need. After exploring all the area attractions each day, we had family time around the fire pit to make s’mores & memories. Donny (host) was fantastic to work with, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Paradise Cove is their personal home & you can tell they love it. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for going to the Ark and Creation Museum. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Kids really enjoyed the lake -fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. It was nice to have access to kayaks, floaties, paddle board, etc. If your looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake, we highly recommend this lake rental!

Even Better Than Advertised

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and cozy and the dock setup is amazing. Our kids really enjoyed swimming off the dock and having fun with the kayaks and paddle board. My wife and enjoyed hanging out and eating meals with the family under the large covered deck that looks out onto the lake. The property owner was very helpful and responsive.

Great outdoor living. Lake fun Close to the Ark Encounter.

We stayed a few days with two of our grandkids. I like the water and so do the kids. Poppa loves fishing and is teaching his grandson. Moening’s place is great! Close to the Ark Encounter and right on the lake. We had all we needed. Host was kind and very accessible. Beds were comfy. If a longer stay we would need a washer and dryer, but we made due for our three night stay. A+

Moening Lakehouse Magic 🤗

The Moening Lakehouse was the icing on our cake for our trip to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. We were able to park right beside the house which made it easy for my mom and aunt to get into. The electronic lock meant no keys to keep up with. The house was cozy, well designed, and stocked with essentials. The front deck overlooking the lake was amazing. My sons stayed down on the dock fishing and swimming and we capped each night off with s'mores by the firepit. I would love to go back and just spend a few days there. It was beautiful and relaxing.
