Wonderful Stay

Enjoyed our time in this spacious and clean condo. Well stocked kitchen. Nice location in a quiet and well maintained resort. Lovely pool and beach.Close to shopping and good restaurants. Hope to return again next year.

Great place

The condo was excellent, very clean, stocked, and we loved the location. Our contact was super and very great to deal with. However, the condo administration was trying to implement a system for chairs at the pool which was a gong show, terrible. If you get up early and get a chair great, if you choose to sleep in or not come down and there is none left that’s your decision. Standing in line for half a day to book a chair for three days is ridiculous. On vacation no one needs that stress.

Wonderful Condo

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. Super clean, very well decorated, very comfortable stay, great A/C, good view, wonderful rain drop showers. No issues whatsoever with the unit and property. Added bonus that we visited in early November low season so the property was very quiet and relaxing. Please note that you will need a "QR Code" to display at the resort entrance gate upon your first arrival/check-in.

Excellent condo BVG Marina

Have been coming to Ixtapa for 25 years, just love it. Tried Bay View Grand Marina for the first time and it is by far our favorite. Calm and relaxing. Room was spacious, king bed was comfortable, 2 balcony areas to eat, play games, read a book on the lounger or take a nap, plenty of towels and kitchen supplies for eating/cooking, washer & dryer were helpful for washing beach towels and bath towels. Was nice to have a stove to cook breakfast and an oven to reheat leftover pizza from Emilio’s.Nice breeze that you can turn the AC off and open the sliding glass doors (3 sets). Loved that the balcony was in the shade all afternoon. AC worked great too!Lots of extras leftover from past guests: toiletries, games, spices in the pantry. Very helpful for the items we forgot.Loved the convenience of the second bathroom. Property offers water jug delivery to the room for inexpensive price. Absolutely wonderful (if you have carried water jugs daily back from the store to the room, you can understand my joy). Definitely recommend booking this room! Francisco is great in communication annd responds promptly. A little hiccup at the security gate upon arrival, but used What’s App to call Francisco and got it all taken care of. Our only complaint was we went to book next year’s trip and unfortunately it has already been reserved.

Perfect stay

We recently stayed from Apr 8 to 18 in this condo. It was perfect for the two of us. Kitchen is well stocked, pool is beautiful and the staff at the Bayview were so friendly and helpful. There are many great restaurants within walking distance so we were able to explore the town of Ixtapa.I wouldn’t change a thing and highly recommend this property.

Absolutely Fabulous

Beautiful condo in a fantastic location. Furnishings and decorating were top notch. Patio furnishings were great. Bed was so comfortable we are now looking for the same mattress for our home! Bed and bathroom linens were new and top quality. Kitchen was well stocked and had a wide range of spices and basic cooking supplies. 10 minute walk to absolutely fantastic restaurant - Bistro Soleiado and easy walk to Ixtapa town centre.

We stayed in Juan’s unit and it was very lovely!

we had coffee at the balcony table before it go too hot and happy hour on the lounge chairs after days at the beach. The unit is very clean and just perfect for the two of us. BVG Marina is a luxury condo with plenty of space to enjoy yourselves. We will be back!

Wonderful BVG

Four of us stayed in this condo and loved it! Two full bathrooms was a bonus ! Kitchen very well appointed (however, toaster takes a long time to toast .. only one side of the heat elements worked on each side ). Having a crock pot came in handy when we ate in and would start it up before heading down to the pool/beach . The king bed was super comfy ! The hide-a-bed was a different set up than normal , but it was comfy as well . Great having a washer and dryer ! Staff at BVG are so personable and friendly ! Thanks so much for everything ! Ixtapa condo

The condo was perfect. The owner and property manager were extremely helpful. The owner followed up by email to see if everything was acceptable and if we had any questions. The description was very accurate. Location perfect. We have been to Ixtapa many times before and this unit is perfect for a couple or small family. We are booking again for next year.

Another trip to paradise

Overall, a very enjoyable stay. A hiccup during the first week when I had trouble reaching the property manager. The regular manager, Alberto, was on vacation. This issue was resolved as soon as Alberto returned. A couple of suggestions: A grab bar for the shower in the master bedroom, a larger TV in the living room and a fan for the deck outside the living room. The owner, Juan, was pleasant and essy to talk too. I will definitely be back! Mark R.

Excellent Vacation - This Is The Best Resort In Ixtapa

Just returned from a fantastic week in Ixtapa with my wife and two young daughters. We stayed in this amazing condo and loved every minute of it! It is spacious, well decorated and equipped and has beautiful ocean and mountain views from a large wrap-around balcony. We loved being able to fall asleep each night to the sound of the waves and awakening each morning to a beautiful sunrise. There were even huge whales breaching right in front of the resort. Speaking of the resort, it is the newest and best in Ixtapa -- it is beautiful and immaculate. I would encourage everyone to stay at BVG - Marina and in this beautiful condo if it is available - you will be very happy you did!

4 wonderful weeks in Ixtapa

We returned recently from our 4 week stay in this lovely condo. This was our first trip to Ixtapa and we can’t wait to go back. BVG Marina is a beautiful, well-maintained property, with the best pool in Ixtapa. The location at the quiet end of the beach is a plus. The condo was exactly as described, and we loved spending time on the large deck. The unit gets sun until about noon, and is in the shade the rest of the day. Checkin was seamless, Juan was responsive and helpful, and the unit is well stocked and well equipped. We enjoyed golfing at the Ixtapa Marina Course (5 minute walk from the unit), riding bikes out to Playa Linda on the paved bike trail, walking on the beach and hanging by the pool. Lots of great restaurants in Ixtapa. And also in Zihuatanejo, which is a 130 peso taxi ride one way. Weather was 31 and sunny every day. We were there during the busy season, so the premium spots by the pool were taken very early, but we always managed to find a lounger. Lastly, the restaurant at the BVG is a little gem. Food there is great, price is very reasonable and the staff are so friendly.

Everything we expected!

We stayed at Juan's condo for about a month and were absolutely pleased. It is very bright, roomy and comfortable. The large deck wraps around from the living room to the master bedroom. The views are gorgeous, you can enjoy your coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise or a glass of wine while enjoying Ixtapa's night lights. Having the extra full bath was a convenience b/c we had friends visit for a day and after time spent at the 'gorgeous' infinity pool & boogie boarding they had a bathroom to freshen up. The gym at the property provides great views of the ocean and grounds. Sometimes we were entertained by dolphins instead of the flat screens. The gym has life fitness equipment, 2 of almost everything including recumbent bikes, upright stationary bikes, elipticals and also 3 treadmills. There are a reasonable amount of weights too. We would definitely recommend and stay at Juan's condo again. Thanks Juan and family, you were extremely accommodating and generous! Laura

Location, location, location!

We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with 12 nights at this lovely condo. Check-in was easy - we were met by a representative of Best Properties. The unit is on the 4 th floor and has a lovely view from the large terrace over the pool and out to the ocean. The terrace itself is wonderful. There is seating for 5 at the outdoor table, and around the corner and off the bedroom are two additional loungers . There is lighting on the terrace so we could enjoy late dinners out of doors. The unit itself is nicely decorated in a beach theme. The photos on the site are accurate. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals- the is a toaster, blender and coffee maker as well. Six burner gas range. Water can be purchased at a very reasonable cost from the front desk. There is a non- refrigerated dispenser for same. Lots of towels, both beach and bath. The two bathrooms were great to have as we could each have our own. There is a stacking washer/dryer in a separate room which is nice as it doesn't heat up the condo. The location is excellent. Close to restaurants ( we would recommend Bistro Soleiado), atm and there is an excellenliquor store in the marina. A bus takes you to Zihuantenejo for 10 pesos or a cab for around 90. Market is zihuantenejo is fantastic for picking up fish, shellfish and fresh fruit and vegetables. Commercial Mexana for your grocerieThe infinity pool on the property is gorgeous and we had it mostly to ourselves. It has a lovely shallow area for little ones. There is an adult pool as well. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The building offers an outdoor poolside restaurant which is incredibly reasonable for snacks and meals. The bar service is run from the same restaurant and beer etc. Is very inexpensive. There are palapas on the beach as well as loungers. Again mostly had those to ourselves as well. There is poolside and beach food/ drink service. The beach is spectacular. About 3 km end to end , the end closest to the condo is quiet while the other end offering all inclusive resorts etc. has more action. The ocean itself was fairly wild when we were there- huge waves and primarily red and black flags flying. Bashed ourselves up a bit body surfing, but with the lovely pool you didn't really have to ocean swim. Our dealings with the owner were easy and all transactions proceeded smoothly. I highly recommend this lovely condo. We hope to return. Ps- this condo is not affected by construction next door.

Ok experience that could be enhanced with a few changes

Pros: - Pool and beach are top notch. - Great location. Walking distance to many bars/restaurants in Ixtapa. Cons: - Was not notified ahead of time regarding what the check-in process entails. We were stopped at the gate for around 25 min because our information was not on file with the resort (even though I had supplied our driver’s licenses ahead of time). We were also not notified that there would be a 1000 pesos deposit, fees for wristbands, and a process to load money onto a card that would then be used to buy food/drinks from the on-site restaurant (you cannot simply use your own credit cards or cash to pay). In addition, you must return your plastic wristbands in order to receive your deposit back (even though they also supply you with a receipt that states you gave them a deposit) If we had been notified of these requirements ahead of time, it would have made the experience a lot smoother. - The Wi-Fi in the unit was very spotty and unreliable. Based on our experience, I would not except to be able to stream or work remotely reliably. - The condo was fairly clean but we noticed the bedsheets were stained and the kitchen floors were a bit dirty. In summary, we enjoyed our stay mostly due to the great location and amazing pool/beach. If the check-in process were smoother, the Wi-Fi better, and the condo a bit cleaner, I would be able to whole heartedly recommend this unit. However, that was not the case so we will probably look to book a different unit at the same property in the future.

Excellent ocean view condo and complex on the beach in Ixtapa. The owner responded to all communications quickly. Condo is exactly as described, the complex has all the amenities and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing Condo.

This condo is accurately described. The condo was clean, very well equipped, and more freshly updated than the photos show. The condo and the appliances were in excellent condition, and the view from the balcony truly amazing. The resort is ideally located in a very quiet area of Ixtapa although within 15 minutes walking distance to stores and restaurants. Public transportation stops right outside the resort, and taxi service is easily available. The resort has two pools and two hot tubs, with one pool and one hot tub for adults only. The beach is clean and quiet with beautiful sand. There are ample palapas on the beach. All the staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. There’s a restaurant on site which provides breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner up to 7 pm. My husband and I spent 6 weeks in the condo from 10/1 to 11/12 which was evidently between the summer and winter high seasons. Because the resort was not full, we felt like we had the resort nearly to ourselves. Communications with Mr. Collado were immediate and responsive. There are several restaurants available but we highly recommend two which were both outstanding and both require reservations: (1) El Faro (located in the Pacifica Ixtapa Resort) in Ixtapa located on a hill on the east side of the beach which had great food and an overview of the entire Ixtapa beach - great place to view the sunset, and (2) Tentaciones (located at Tentaciones Hotel and Restaurant in Zihuatanejo) also located at the crest of a high hill overlooking La Ropa Beach and Zihuatanjo, with a choice of two 5-course dinner offerings. The restaurant was beautiful, and the food, service and view were exquisite - also a great place to view the sunset. Thank you Juan Francisco for making your lovely condo available to us. We had a wonderful and memorable stay …… and will definitely return!

Beautiful Condo on ocean

Very clean and well decorated. Close to restaurants and shopping. A beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. I recommend this condo/resort.

It is only 15 minutes from the local airport.

Ixtapa is a very safe place, where you can walk outside streets enjoying sunset while shopping or looking for a place to eat.
