Dock details:

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A Great Family Week

The house is perfectly situated on the water, and it gave us so much joy all week. Sitting outside, jumping in the water, grilling. We felt really lucky, because you never know online. It was awesome.

House was great, be warned about Vacasa.

House was fantastic and owners personal touches were evident. However, Vacasa itself was terrible, filled with bureaucracy and red tape to get simple staples, like additional toilet paper.

Wonderful and Peaceful

The house on Oak Bluff Road will be one of our favorites. Wonderful location and easy to get to for all of our family. The property is on a tranquil creek in the midst of a family community. Very nice neighbors, all of whom said hello and left us to our privacy. Daily visits by osprey, ducks, fox, and a beaver who made nightly runs for building materials from the tall grass that was in front of the house. Lots to do in the area and lots of relaxation on a beautiful porch/patio facing the water. Some problems with air conditioning in the house, which the manager addressed with in window units at first until the maintenance team could fix the unit. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and would readily recommend Oak Bluff

Lovely Sunsets! August 2021

We enjoyed the house, deck, and dock very much. We also enjoyed kayaking in the cove and the South River. We enjoyed biking while there. Gorgeous, Waterfront View! September 2019

A lovely, comfortable home with plenty of parking. Sleeping for 10 along with 3 full baths fit our needs perfectly. In bad weather, the common areas would have been a tight fit, but the large deck with abundant seating and the gorgeous waterfront view made for a great weekend. Everyone enjoyed the house and the time spent there, although most thought the mattresses were a bit too soft. The only other point of friction came from the owners` sign requesting that the outdoor lighting always remain on. This was a problem for those trying to sleep on that side of the home. A quick call, however, to At Home - Annapolis resolved the issue. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Katie @ At Home. She was very friendly and helpful. Fabulous Days; Stunning Sunsets! May 2019

Fabulous Commissioning Week - May 2019

We had a fabulous week here for USNA Commissioning Week. Our clan of families and friends enjoyed the peaceful presence of the bay, comfortable rooms, and the opportunity to celebrate together. This is a great property for wheelchair access. Something to note: my brother-in-law was able to transfer himself from his wheelchair to the low bed. The bath off of the master bedroom had the door wide enough for his wheelchair. He was thrilled to be able to drive down the dock in his wheelchair. Thank you!! Nice Location for Boaters - July 2018

Nice location especially for boaters wanting easy access to the Chesapeake and South River. My wife and I stayed here for a week in mid July. We needing a location that was on the water and not too far from D.C. as we needed to bring someone to & from the city during the week. The home is quite comfortable. It was 90 degrees for most of the week and the A.C. worked very well! There is plenty of room to spread out, living room is comfortable, kitchen is good. The seating for indoor dining is limited to four at a hi-top table. The outdoor deck is large and the dock is nice for placing a couple of chairs and watching the sunset. The house seems to have been renovated inside and out very recently. There are a large number of homes surrounding the body of water that this house sits on but hardly any were occupied during the week. Seems that most are used only on the weekends. If you are a boater, you will have deep enough water for nearly any powerboat. There is no floating dock, just a pier and pilings so bring two bow and stern lines and a spring line although I didn`t need it for an 18` powerboat. The mouth of the Chesapeake is about a 15-20 minute cruise. There is a launch ramp about three miles from the house.
