Nestled in the mountains between Lenoir and Blowing Rock, easy access off HWY321. Guest suite is the lowest level of our home and is very private. The rental has its own private entrance and patio. Your rental is just 3.8 miles from historical Blowing Rock, you will be close to shopping,dining, skiing, hiking, and the Blue Ridge
Parkway.
OUTDOORS- A stainless gas grill allows you to cook on the covered deck while enjoying the tranquility of your surroundings. Soak in your private hot tub and enjoy the views. A gas fire pit is also available for your enjoyment!
INDOORS - You will have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and large toaster oven. Everything you need to whip up a smaller meal or heat up some tasty leftovers. The living room has a dining table and a comfy couch that pulls out into a queen size bed. Stream your favorite shows on the smart TV. The master bedroom is an oasis for comfort! The king pillow top mattress and cozy bedding invite you to sleep in! Owners live in the main home
upstairs but will respect your privacy.
The guest suite has its own
private parking area and entrance that renters will access with a key code. Please contact owner if traveling with pets larger than 20lbs. for prior approval, failure to do so will result in extra fees. Please note if there is evidence of pets on bedding there will be an extra cleaning fee added of $100.

Nice Place Cut Short by Hurricane Helene

Stayed through a day and a half, but left after no power for more than 24 hours. Host kindly refunded our last day. Be sure to note that although listing on front page says there is a kitchen, it is really a kitchenette. No stove, just toaster oven.

Tranquil Setting

Loved the tranquil setting! We appreciated the hospitality of the hostess and the clean and comfortable accommodations as well as the short drive to downtown Blowing Rock. Our dog was most welcome but there was very little outdoor space for walking him. The driveway was tricky to navigate but I guess that's just life in the mountains. Overall, a most enjoyable visit!

Beautiful and Peaceful!

This was a perfect place for us to stay while enjoying the close-by towns of Blowing Rock and Boone. The home was very nice, super clean, and it was so peaceful there. Great outdoor covered area with hot tub & fire pit. Bed was so comfortable. Owners were quick to respond to any questions, and check-in and out was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Quick getaway

Beautiful house in a quiet surrounding. After an early dinner, we relaxed on the rear patio with a fire and awesome view. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

The Best

I have only used VRBO approx 5 times in the past and this was the best experience. Clean, up to date, clear instructions, accurate representation of rental. The extras of hot tub and gas fire pit was icing on the cake when enjoying the views of the Great Smokey Mountains from the porch.

A Blissful Stay in Blowing Rock

Our stay in the Mountain View Guest Suite was utterly blissful. Cleanliness is a must-have to enjoy a comfortable stay in our book, and Jenna and Kurt have set the bar! Rarely have we felt so "at home" in a vacation rental. The suite was spotless from top to bottom and exactly as pictured. The decor was inviting and the mattress was a dream. We loved sitting by the patio firepit to gaze at the view of the Fall leaves. This was topped only by the jacuzzi which provided sweet relief after a long day of sightseeing. The guest suite offered all the essentials we needed for a relaxing getaway. As hosts, Jenna and Kurt, and even our new little fur friend Gus could not have been more accommodating or welcoming. We greatly appreciate your kindness to us and our fur baby, Tobey. We hope to see you all on our next trip to Blowing Rock!

My husband and I grew up in Fl but couldn’t resist the mountains when it came time to retire. We both had careers as Firefighter/Paramedics. Being in the high country has been a wonderful change for us and we are excited to share that experience with travelers looking for a perfect getaway.

We purchased this property in 2021, 12 acres with an amazing view!! Once our house was under construction we realized that we had a lot more room than we needed so we decided to turn the bottom of our home into a vacation rental.
