At Rosewood Cottages we offer you an excellent Ontario location for your vacation or getaway & superb lodging
Here we offer you an enjoyable family getaway with the ideal location for an array of lively activities. Just minutes from the beaches and downtown! It is surprising that our west coast of southern Ontario and Bruce county is such a secret. We encourage you to take advantage of us at Rosewood Cottages!

The Space:
Perfect for fishing if that is one of your interests, you be served with nature's best gifts at the rosewood cottages. Beautiful. open. just a happy place to make the best memories with your family or friends.

Guest Access:
The guest will have a lockbox, defined after confirmation, to gain access to the cottage.

The Neighborhood:
We are located on the Saugeen River, in Southampton, ON on the Lake Huron shoreline of the Bruce peninsula. Saugeen Shores is an excellent take-off point to the many adventures to be found on the Bruce Peninsula.

Other Things to Note:
Including the Vacation House, we rent five cottages. Our property has approx. 600' of frontage on the shoreline of the Saugeen River. The fishing is great!

House Guidelines:
- Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited within the unit or near exits.
- We do not have onsite staff at the property
- Kindly show consideration for your neighbors by maintaining reasonable noise levels.
- Parties are not permitted.
- Replacement fees will apply for any missing or damaged amenities, utilities, or equipment.
- Towels, sheets, and toiletries are provided for your use during your stay. Please refrain from taking them. Missing items will incur fees.
- If you are accompanied by pets, please pick up after them.
- We welcome furry friends for a pet fee, as it helps cover the extra 1-2 hour long cleaning /labor after checkout.

Extremely Disappointed
When I saw the review of 2022 I thought the renters would’ve taken it serious and cleaned up their process and property. When I booked and the confirmation came in it had 60% increase in their fees which were never promoted. Then when we arrived I was shocked at the state of the rental .. old, worn out and that’s just the outside. The picture of the living room definitely overstates the size and nature, including a couch I’d never sit on. Kitchen is extremely small …. saw the bathroom and turned and left. We had to find alternative accommodations as to stay here. The only winners were the renters with their additional fees and extremely poor accommodations. Imagine arriving and having to walk away from my payment because it was so unacceptable. I wouldn’t even let my girlfriend and dogs in to see. We were fooled!!!!

The place is a dump
Furniture is old and has holes, couldn’t close the bathroom door because the stove was blocking it, lifting linoleum, bed sheets didn’t fit properly and kept coming off, was not given the number of the cottage so had to phone the manager and she seemed a bit clueless. The entire cottage is old and dumpy. Basically should just be knocked down. Would not recommend anyone to stay there. Also the couch had to be moved 90 degrees just so we could watch TV.
