Nature lover’s rustic retreat nestled in a pristine Redwood Forest. Experience glamping among magnificent old-growth redwoods in the comfort of our Garden Cabin. The cabin features a queen bed, French doors opening to breathtaking forest views, a romantic glass-door wood stove, an outdoor fire pit and gathering area, hammock, and several peaceful, private sitting spots. Surrounded by miles of forest and remote hiking trails, you’re just a five-minute drive from multiple beaches, state parks, and nature reserves. Pet friendly!
Unplug and rejuvenate at this peaceful, off-the-grid nature retreat. The cozy Garden Cabin is enveloped by magical old-growth redwoods-only about 5% of these ancient giants remain in California. Behind the cabin, enjoy a large private garden and forest area. Listen to the sounds of birds and the distant ocean as you relax in a hammock among the trees. Amenities include an eco-friendly composting toilet, outdoor sink, and a unique redwood outdoor hot shower. There's a spacious gathering area with a fire pit for evenings under the stars.
Ocean Forest Retreat offers four private cabins, each set far apart on the property with forest and fencing in between for maximum privacy. Toward the front of the property, a large shared ocean-view seating area provides a perfect spot for sunset watching.
Please note: This is a true glamping experience designed for those seeking a digital detox and a deeper connection with nature. There is no WiFi or cell service on the property, making it the perfect place to unplug and unwind. The cabin does not have a kitchen, but you are welcome to bring a cooler and camp stove for your meals. We also provide a charcoal BBQ for outdoor cooking.
We’re new to Vrbo but are “super hosts” on another platform-let us know if you’d like to see our 5-star reviews before booking. As locals who grew up in the area, we love sharing our favorite spots and activities. Adventurous nature activities are just minutes away, including horseback riding tours at Ten Mile Beach, tide pooling and whale watching at MacKerricher State Park, guided ocean and river kayaking, the famous Skunk Train and rail bike rides through the redwoods, and some of our favorite hikes. Choose from numerous beautiful beaches 5–10 minutes away-Ten Mile, Pudding Creek, Virgin Creek (a local surfer’s favorite), Seaside, and Glass Beach. Or simply soak in the serene magic of old-growth redwoods right on the property. We’re also close to Fort Bragg town and all its amenities.
Please come prepared for a rustic, off-grid glamping adventure! If you have any questions about what to bring or what to expect, just ask. We’d love to welcome you for a unique and rejuvenating stay in the redwoods!
