Beautiful views!

We loved the beautiful views from the balcony and the golf cart was wonderful to have to explore the peninsula. Having a concierge come with the property was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Would be hard pressed to find any fault.

We had a wonderful time! The house was stunning, as well as the views and the staff! The beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked with essential tools and some pantry basics. (The art truly was lovely, hard to appreciate from the pictures!) The staff, from the owner to the grounds crew were all gracious and welcoming. Especially the wonderfully prompt and attentive Bari. We also had the chance to go for three scuba dives with Almaco Diving and had a great time!! Gear, snacks, drinks and amazing spots to dive! (and an afternoon of fishing!) We would highly recommend them. The wildlife around the grounds was fun to see, monkeys, coati, bats and iguanas were daily treats.

Beautiful Memories

A gorgeous home situated perfectly overlooking the Four Season’s Golf course and Pacific. Bari was fantastic and arranged everything from boating tours to personal chief service. Her professionalism and Papagayo’s beauty made our stay fly by too fast. The rooms were perfect for the two families and each room provided views of the bay and golf course. Without a doubt the personal touches that Bari and Jane provided made our experience that much more inviting and both families are already planning our return. Thank you Jane / Bari for a great experience.

An Amazing Family Experience in Costa Rica

My family and I stayed at Vista Hermosa over Spring Break and it was, to say the least, an absolutely wonderful experience. The condominium is beautifully furnished and lacks nothing you will need during your visit. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished with high quality linens and local organic bath products. Right next to the condo is an amazing infinity pool that was great for relaxing while at the condo. However, we enjoyed spending the majority of our time at the beach club and the beaches. The beach club has wonderful service, wonderful food, and of course a wonderful beach. We used boogie boards, took surf lessons, and watched turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean. It was a very cool experience. There is also a great beach where the kids spent hours in the calm water snorkeling, searching for shells, and just floating around. In the mornings we would take the golf cart and drive around looking for monkeys and birds. There were often "pizcote" on the golf course and tons of monkeys playing around in the trees. The wildlife there is unique and gorgeous. All in all it was an amazing week for our family in Costa Rica. I would absolutely recommend anyone of any age visit this magical place.

Papagayo Paradise

We highly recommend staying at Vista Hermosa if you are planning a stay on the Papagayo Peninsula!! It is beautifully appointed with gorgeous art and stylish furnishings. The main living and dining space has a huge balcony and there are also individual balconies off of each bedroom, an infinity pool right next door - all of which overlook the driving range and ocean. There is also a nicely equipped kitchen and great jetted tub in the master bath! If you are looking for relaxation - this is the place. A typical day was waking up early, driving the golf cart 9 holes looking for monkeys and birds, checking out a beach or two (again with barely a soul in sight!). Back for some breakfast and then going to either the Prieta Beach Club, Four Seasons or Andaz to hang out with a day pass. The Andaz adult pool was awesome, with howlers and white-faced monkeys lazing in the trees around the pool all day, plus a couple of coco-loco tropical drinks and some cevice - can life get any better? If had the kids with us they would have loved the family pools at the Andaz and Four Seasons too. In the afternoon we'd hang out by the condo pool (basically our own pool as nobody else was ever there during our entire stay!). For dinner, sometimes we would grill (we stocked up at the Mercado in Coco and Liberia - we preferred Liberia - both about a 45 minute drive) and sometimes we'd head out to a restaurant (lots of options close by!). We did get some great tenderloin and lamb chops at the butcher (Carnes San Martin - stellar, right by airport in the Solarium development at the back left hand side). The grill is awesome and I was able to sous-vide some ribs and sear them on the grill; sooooo good. Note, a great place to go and see the sunset is the 3rd hole or the Prieta Beach Club. Honestly, the decisions to be made were really about which beach, what drink? It was that good. Totally recommend it! Bari is awesome too - makes scheduling anything easy. Took the boat to a few beaches and saw the caves one day. Was a nice change of pace and learned to paddle-board too. She also arranged for our car - which was great. Another tip is to get duty-free rum after you land in Liberia - it is right in baggage area. A liter of Flor De Cana there will set you up for the week!! Book it. You'll love it!

The Four Seasons' Hipper Younger Brother

If you generally stay at Four Seasons properties and are considering visiting Costa Rica, you need to go to the Peninsula Papagayo: that much is a fact. But when you choose where you stay in Papagayo, consider this: if you want privacy, luxury, and common spaces for groups to enjoy one anothers' company, staying at Jane's property is a far better deal than the Four Seasons. I know because I spent the entire week trying to find reasons to prove otherwise. As a travel writer, I was in Papagayo writing an article on why the Four Seasons is such a remarkable hospitality brand and why people live and die to stay in their properties. They have perfected the guest experience. Yet when you look at the big picture -- what are ultimate travel amenities that money CANNOT buy? -- you get things like "the whole pool to yourself" and "feeling like a local" which are experiences that are made inherently obsolete with a certain level of corporate success. Fortunately, thanks to Jane's fleet of rentals, travelers can still find these things -- albeit, located right next door to the Four Seasons property -- and for a wonderful fraction of the big brand price. Money you can spend on stuff that really matters: like more champagne :)

Fabulous Vacation Destionation

The condo was awesome. Everything was done well. Bari - our concierge was wonderful. You must rent the gold cart. It made it super easy to get to the beach club and to the Four Seasons for lunch or dinner. The pool right next door was great. The kids used it every day. The property was very clean and well maintained. The condo was perfect and the views outstanding. It was one of the nicest places we have every stayed in and would go back again if staying in that area. Zip lining at witches rock was fun. We rented jet skis and enjoyed that too! The challenge with the area is its distance to a decent grocery store. We thought we would be doing more trips through Liberia but it turned out it was just too much driving so we ended up spending more time just relaxing by the ocean - which was great. We should had Bari stock us with more food. The grocery store was far away and a little bit of a challenge locating the items we needed. I would recommend getting a place to stay in the middle of the country and visiting the rain forest for a few days to enjoy that part of the country and then come relax on the coast.

Luxury in perfect weather!

This was a wonderful place to spend the week with friends. We had 3 couples in a 3 bedroom unit and rented 2 golf carts. The grounds are immaculate. We enjoyed hanging out at the beach, the infinity pool, cruising in the golf carts and eating nice meals. The area was very safe and secure- Bari our concierge even said we could leave the keys in the golf cart! The food was amazing and the beach club (you have access to this) has great waves and super soft sand. There is an infinity pool, restaurant and lots of shade and a work out room. There is wifi at the beach club and the house- all included. Also daily maid service was included. We had a chef come and cook for us 2 nights- food was excellent- you can choose the menu. The house was very high quality- granite and marble and super nice kitchen. Water is safe to drink. Nice washer and dryer- so pack light and do a quick load of laundry. We took 2 boat trips that left about 1/2 mile away from the house. We also did a jungle hike and zip line and mud bath- about 90 min away by car. (they picked us up) We are going back next year for sure!!

Absolutely incredible vacation

The Papagayo Peninsula is such a special place... amazing views, wildlife, and ocean. This in our second trip to this part of the world in six months. First time we stayed at the Andaz resort, which was nice but cramped for our family. This time we decided upon the Las Terrazas. The condo is everything you see in the description and pictures -- absolutely perfect! The concierge can set up dining reservations, excursions, private chef, grocery service... You name it. All the amenities of the other resorts are also at your disposal. With this condo, there is a pool out your door, an Arnold Palmer golf course, a beach club, and tennis facility. The condo is beautifully furnished and comes with everything you'll need for a wonderful stay. The owner Jane is fantastic. She provided great recommendations. She stayed in touch with us before, during and after our stay to make sure everything was going well. We actually have considered buying a unit at this property. If we don't, we'll definitely return again and stay at this condo!!! Thank you.

Beauty of Papagayo

I wish I could give 10 stars. The condo is beautiful! Large living space opening up to a balcony with amazing views. Starting every morning sitting outside listening to the monkeys and birds while drinking coffee was one reason we came to Costa Rica. The concierge was very helpful with suggestions and setting up excursions so that we were able to do everything we wanted during our stay. Definitely rent the golf cart-super fun to drive and allowed getting to all the places: beaches, burger shack, marina, beach club, etc., with ease. Highly recommend.

Spectacular Views and Great Tuna

The condo is large, elegantly appointed, very comfortable and has spectacular views. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We saw half a dozen bird species just looking out the windows, plus an iguana sunning itself nearby. A boat trip around the bay was a special treat with a sighting of a spotted dolphin family swimming at speed. Best of all, it is possible to have wonderful tuna for dinner at any of the restaurants--we tried them all!

Luxury relaxation & adventure

My wife & I stayed here on our Costa Rican honeymoon. The condo is amazing!! It had everything we needed and more. A huge balcony that overlooks the bay & marina where we enjoyed morning coffee. (faces east into the sunrise) A full kitchen with all the right equipment allowed us to cook breakfast and truly relax before heading out on our adventures to the local beaches, volcano hikes, zip line tours, and boat tour. I highly recommend renting the golf cart, it allowed us to get to beaches, Four Seasons restaurant, golf club & the Marina without the car - plus it made finding and photographing the monkeys easy. It was also nice to have internet access. There was also an Apple TV in the master bedroom so we were able to watch a movie after a long day of adventures. Truly a great place to enjoy relaxing beach life as well as exciting adventures, but still have the desired comforts of home!

Check out the views!!!!

If you enjoy monkeys...spectacular views...and luxurious accomadations, this is where you will want to stay! A "girls golf getaway" in July took us to Costa Rica where a golf cart and recommended guide were the only transportation necessary. Terrific, as driving in a foreign country can be a challenge. After our fun-filled days on the beach...at the course or sightseeing, the best place for "happy hour" was the pool right outside our door. You will not find a better view anywhere!!! We left relaxed...refreshed...and ready to return! Thank you for making our trip so very special!

amazing place

We stayed in La Terrazas for 5 days in the beginning of november. This place is really super. The house is very nice, super clean and the view is amazing. Also the staff is very friendly and helpfull. We booked 2 times a snorkeling trip and I can tell you that those were very good. Also a mountain bike trip was planned and the boys had a super good ride with their guide. If you are planning to go to Costa Rica don't hesitate and just book this place.

Our Visit to Papagayo

We had a breathtaking vacation at Vista Hermosa. The condominium was spacious, beautifully appointed, well-stocked with supplies and comfortable. It offered a beautiful view over the infinity pool and into the golf course and jungle beyond. My husband and I spent a lot of time on the wide balcony, listening to the howler monkeys across the way, and watching the birds flit from tree to tree. We especially enjoyed the freedom it gave us to either prepare our own meals or take advantage of the local restaurants (all of which were delicious). The concierge, Bari, pre-stocked our kitchen and met us when we arrived. She was an invaluable and always accomodating resource during our stay, giving us practical guidance so that we could "hit the ground running" and not waste vacation time finding our bearings. We were also met by Leslie withing hours of arriving, who arranged for our family to go boating down a river in the jungle, zip-lining, ATV-ing and horseback riding. Each adventure showed us a different aspect of the beautiful Guanacaste region and a glimpse of exotic wildlife. Daily we used the Four Seasons golf and tennis facilities. The nearby Prieta Beach Club was a gem, offering an uncrowded slice of beach, a variety of pools and terrific food. We have already recommended this condominium to our friends, and would not hesitate to suggest it again.

Exceptional Property with Accurately Reflected Information

The condo was everything that it claimed and even better. From my first encounter with the owner, she’s like my new favorite proprietor and unbelievably accommodating. Then the next connection with the concierge, her banana-chocolate chip bread is amazing and she did all the shopping for me and stocked the kitchen from my list. She arranged a masseuse who came to the unit and was equally amazing. The travel guide, very knowledgeable and knew all the right places to show us (seriously…I’m not making this stuff up)… it just flowed. Even the woman who came and cleaned every day was so nice and helpful. The setting and decor were amazing with different pieces from around the world that reflected pride and love in ownership of this unit. Everything that you could possibly need and then some was available. They left you with a well-equipped “Home away from Home" feel. The view from every room...it's like a picture perfect postcard!! The Four Seasons and The Beach Club were also excellent facilities and really good food and ambiance and the Cadillac golf cart rocked! Waterfalls, horseback riding, volcanos, hiking, diving (and so much more to do here) and lots of warm fuzzy creatures running around! The country (and the people) and all it has to offer is so amazing I will be back. This location and place is perfect for all. Enjoy!!

An amazing experience!

We had one of our best trips ever! The condo was absolutely beautiful and very high end. It was even nicer than we expected. It is located in close proximity to the tennis/golf club, beach club and Four Seasons restaurants/spa. It was fun using the golf cart provided by the owner to explore the area and see animals, especially the monkeys. The infinity pool at the condo was refreshing after being out all day and has an absolutely gorgeous view. Both the owner and concierge were very attentive to our needs and helped us arrange groceries, a chef and tours if we needed them. We would definitely recommend staying here. We received excellent service everywhere we went and fell in love with Costa Rica. The people here are wonderful and very sincere. We can't wait to book again.

5 Star Luxury Condo with beautiful views and wonderful amenties

This condo was the perfect location for our family of four during the Easter holidays. When we arrived there was a welcome basket filled with goodies including yummy fresh baked banana bread from Bari the property manager. Bari also did our grocery shopping for us so the fridge was stocked. The home is well laid out and is decorated with magnificent furniture and art. We relaxed each evening in the comfortable living room. We loved the view and enjoyed listening to all the sounds of the wildlife. We could also see lots of animals from our balcony. There is a golf cart to use around the area. We went to the beach club each day to workout, swim and play in the surf. We also had an excellent dinner at the Golf Club. Bari set us up with Leslie to be our tour guide and he was fantastic. A few of the adventures Leslie took us on were hiking to waterfalls, zipling, Tarzan swing, mud baths, mountain biking, and going down the fastest mountain water slide. After a busy day experiencing Costa Rica it was nice to come into a stunning home with nice linens and comfortable beds! We slept well! This home feels like a Four Season's Hotel! There is so much to do here while staying in this home. Another adventure that we loved was a snorkel trip and gourmet lunch on a secluded beach. Bari can set it all up for you. We had a 5 star experience. The owner was perfect to rent from and the photos of the condo are very accurate. We would rent this home again and recommend it to all our friends and family. Our only regret is that we didn't set up Bari and her husband to come and prepare a private dinner for us! We will be back!

Exceptional Property, Everything Thought Of

I love Costa Rica and have been trying to get my boyfriend to come for years. Finally we decided to book a trip. At first we wanted to get the Plunge Pool Suite at the nearby Four Seasons. They were sold out, so I decided to look into other options since we usually like to have at least a separate living area. We saw two different properties that Jane manages had availability on VRBO and selected this condo. She put us in touch with her concierge, Bari who took care of all our arrangements. Both of them couldn't have been more professional, helpful and friendly. The home was gorgeous! We walked into a living room vista that rivaled any post-card. Everything was done with care and pictures did the place no justice. It was plenty of room for six people, maybe more. Sitting outside looking over the driving range and water-views was great. The pool was right next to the home and was lovely. The included golf-cart was great to tool around on. You can tell the owners are avid travelers and take pride in the property. The home was immaculate and we loved how each piece of furniture had a story and was from an exotic location yet fit so well into the property. Things were very organized and clean. The maid that came daily washed our dishes, did laundry and even cut up a bunch of fruit from our fridge and made a beautiful platter. We had an arrival basket with the most delicious banana chocolate chip bread in it. A nice touch. The whole area of Papagayo where this condo is has excellent roads and is simply stunning. If you've traveled through other parts of Costa Rica where the roads are dirt or the traveling bumpy, you will be in awe when you stay in this area! We get the sense there were supposed to be many more homes/developments built that did not go up which make the area feel luxurious yet not overcrowded, which is rare. The reason I chose that property was that it had access to the nearby Arnold Palmer Golf Course and Preita Beach Club... and was also adjacent to the Four Seasons. We definitely preferred the beach club to the Four Seasons! We went to the Four Seasons one afternoon and were so happy that we didn't stay there as there were tons of kids running around and didn't really have a relaxing feel. They showed us the plunge pool suite (the pool was a joke) and we couldn't understand why anyone would stay there if they knew they had the option of staying in an amazing place so close by for so much less! We hope to come back very soon!

Awesome Vacation

We loved this house it was everything we could of asked for. We were a family with teenagers and we all had a fabulous time. The people are all so friendly and they made us feel welcome and comfortable. The beach club was a real treat everything from swimming, boogie boarding the waves or cruising on the stand up paddle board was all there. The wildlife around us was amazing and everyday was different. This place is totally worth the visit and would go back anytime.

The perfect condo in an idyllic location!

Our family stayed in this gorgeous condo for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The home was well-maintained and the service we received from the concierge and cleaning crews was exceptional. The advantage of the condo rental over the hotel onsite is that my family of 6 had more room to spread out. We also liked the flexibility of having a kitchen in the condo for breakfast and snacks. We did take advantage of the services offered by the concierge (boating, day excursions, etc.) and highly recommend them. No need to book many things in advance of your arrival. We especially enjoyed the Beach Club and the restaurant at the marina. We fell in love with Papagayo Pennisula, which is an exclusive resort/luxury home community, and hope to return again some day. We loved the peaceful, quiet surroundings, but if you are looking for an active nightlife, this may not be the place for you. It was perfect for our family and we would definitely stay at this condo again!

Absolute Paradise!

This condo and its settings are fantastic!! We felt that even the gorgeous photos on the website don't do it justice. The condo is the perfect combination of tasteful decor, relaxed ambiance, and includes all amenities one could possibly need. The setting and facilities are world class, and worth the trip themselves. We spent most of our time at the beautiful private Beach Club. Would definitely recommend for an unforgettable romantic get-away or luxurious escape to paradise!

Luxury at its finest!

We stayed at this luxury condo a few months ago and hope to go back very soon! It was pure heaven! The condo itself is beautiful, spacious and luxurious with stunning views. There is a pool near the condo which was very convenient and we also spent a lot of time at the Playa Prieta Beach Club, which is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this villa for families or a getaway with friends. There is so much to do in the area for adventure seekers and beach goers alike!
