The Surf Shack is the perfect home for families and groups. Located walking distance to the river, beach, and ocean this spacious 6 bedroom, 3 bath home has a private heated pool with a large covered patio featuring outdoor dining and living room areas, gas grill and fire pit. The kitchen was renovated December '24 with all new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash and a new island with seating. The Surf Shack is in a great location where there's so much to do nearby! The beach is only 6 blocks away! Take the kayaks to the river launch across the street and enjoy watching dolphins and manatees. You'll enjoy the bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and all the beach gear you need for a fantastic and safe vacation experience.

Cameras are located at the front door exterior and overlooking the driveway for security. The property may be equipped with a decibel monitoring sensor located inside and outside of the home. This sensor is 100% privacy compliant since it only measures noise level and doesn't record any sounds. A rental agreement and security deposit hold are required.

Family Gathering

House was just what we needed to have four generations together to celebrate. Easy access to beach, stores and restaurants. Lots to do at house, pool and bikes were a big hit. Large kitchen so we could cook and still be together. Would definitely recommend.

Great Property

We stayed here before heading out on a Disney Cruise. The house was great and the amenities were just what we needed. We were also able to walk over to beach and watch a rocket launch! The owners were easy to communicate with and handled everything perfectly. Great stay!

Wonderful family home

Cocoa beach surf house

It was such a fun house with heated , pool water across the street to canoe and kayak with furnished equipment, games and activities at the house that we never left that day. Beach access within a mile to Wilson park Plenty of room to prepare meals or just visit and relax around the house.

Plenty of room for large family.

House was perfect size for our family of 11 and had everything we would need. Only issue was the pool heater not working so we could not utilize the pool. The property manager was doing her best to fix the problem, but it was disappointing since it was cooler the end of November and really needed the heater. Otherwise, house was great.

Perfect for our Crew

We are an offshore powerboat race team and we were there for the Cocoa Beach race. We needed a place for the whole team to stay and be comfortable. They loved the home. Worked perfectly for everyone. Will reserve for next year for sure.

Great house!

Very clean and well maintained home. For our family perfectly. Pool is nice and so are the kayaks. Got to watch 2 rocket launches from the backyard as well. Minutes from the beach and lots of food. Would highly recommend this property.

Great house, great location

Teresa is an excellent host! The house has been recently updated and is completely stocked with everything a family might need during a stay. The pool is a great hangout after a day at the beach and it’s easy to drop the kayaks in the river to go search for dolphins. Plenty of space. Our family recommends!!!

Cocoa Beach Reunion (with a dash of Disney)

The Surf Shack is a wonderful property conveniently located near everything. Its décor fits the beach vibe and the layout of the house was perfect for our large family, including an awesome back patio and yard. The kitchen is well-stocked and the furniture comfortable. There are plenty of recreational toys for outdoor fun. We enjoyed taking the kayaks on the river, which is a short walk from the house. The host was responsive and provided excellent service. This is a rental we would return to!

Host was very accommodating for any needs or requests. Space worked great for our two families…plenty of space for everyone & the outdoor space was really nice & big. If you need a perfect house in perfect condition…keep looking, but if you need a big space with a pool & other amenities, this is your place. If we weren’t renting during peak week, i would feel like we overpaid.

The "Surf Shack" Getaway

We just came home yesterday from the "Surf Shack" and I can say that the name is absolutely perfect in a very positive way. The property is a long sprawling ranch with a California Surf feel which produced a nice vacation atmosphere. The pool was great. The house was so well equipped and extremely organized, from the kitchen to the bathrooms with more than ample towels as well as an immacutlate garage filled with every piece of equipment one could need for the beach. It was an easy bike ride to a beautiful beach. You can walk it as well. Theresa was very accommodating and we even got to see a rocket launch. Thank you for a great little getaway with my family.

Amazing location and stocked house

We had the best time at this rental. Everything you need to have an amazing beach trip was included with this house. There were tons of bikes, water gear, and beach chairs/ umbrellas. Everything we needed was at this house. It was clean. Communication was beyond great. The pool area was fun. We had the best week! The beach was a 3 minute drive or a 10 minute walk and we did both. Disney was only an hour drive and Kennedy Space Center was 30 minutes away. Very close to tons of yummy placed to eat. I would recommend this rental to everyone. I hope we get to go back again soon! Thank you for the best week!

Perfect for our mini family reunion

The house was perfect for our family in every way. The rooms were large and 2 of the 3 bathrooms were renovated. I loved the large kitchen and dining area which enabled our group to all eat together. We would not have been able to do this in a restaurant. We then played games in the living room which were also provided there at the house. There were plenty of towels for bathing and the pool. The backyard was private. We had a few questions and the owner responded immediately and also made some suggestions for viewing the rocket launch and where to eat. Unfortunately, it was chilly but the launch area for the kayaks or paddle board were a 1/2 block away.

The Surf Shack is in a great location in the historic Cocoa Beach downtown area where you can walk to the river, beach, ocean, restaurants, bars, and shops. The house is right by (only 2 houses away) a boat launch for the Banana River. Our guests have often seen dolphin and manatees swimming by when they take the kayaks out on the river. We are at the north end of the Thousand Island area which is a refuge for these amazing marine mammals.
