Wedding Trip

My fiance and I stayed here for a wedding trip, check in and out was super easy, very clear communication. The property was very lovely and located on a lake, and the room and bathroom were clean and quiet!

Cozy Comfort

We enjoyed our stay, in spite of a few misgivings upon arrival. The yard, lawn furniture & front door looked neglected & we were concerned about the inside. But all was fine & all our basic needs were met during our stay. The bathroom was updated with a large, beautifully tiled shower. We didn't realize one side of the bed was up against the wall, so every time I would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, I had to climb over my husband to get out and back in. At my age & with knee replacements, that was not easy (my mobility is better than his). There was no way to sit & enjoy the lake view since our entrance was in the back of the house. Would have liked kleenex in the bathroom; also, coffee stirrers since a coffee pot was there for hot water & there were only 2 tea bags provided for our 4 night stay--more would have been nice, along with creamer for the few packets of coffee. We also didn't realize we would have to park in the street & not in the driveway. But all of this was minor to us. (Although someone could have a problem crawling over the other person in bed to get out.) We were not in the room all that much, so none of these issues affected our overall enjoyment, the convenient location & competitive rates of the room. Our host was very nice & cheerful. I'm sure if we had asked for some of the aforementioned items, she would have provided them, but we felt they were not worth bothering her. All in all, we were very satisfied!

Picture deceiving, couldn’t see pond from room. Didn’t have utensils or proper dishes to use and what was available were dirty, it was very warm in room no airflow had to ask for fan. Unit really needs a window ac unit. There were bugs in bathroom and had to park across from driveway and never got code till I arrived at home and had to knock on front door to get information.

We were please with this rental. Very clean and even smelled great when we walked in. It looks exactly like the VRBO pictures. It was just what we expected and suited our needs just fine.

Property was dirty. Looked old. Room furniture was OLD Room missing smoke detector. Seat in shower was literally hanging off the wall with the four screws hanging out. I had one request, and that was to replace my towels and empty the waste basket (which there was only one). Came back 13 hours later...not done Lake view???

Room with private bathroom

The location of the room is in the back of the host’s house. There is a separate entrance to a lovely bathroom with a shower and then the room which to us is best described as a bedroom. It has a mini fridge/freezer, a Keurig and a microwave and a tv. No couch to sit on as no room for that. The location of the house is in a beautiful safe and quiet residential area as we walked around the area a few times. The hosts are wonderful people and they were there at a moments notice if we needed anything. Very attentive to our needs but also gave us total privacy. The price was right but if u want more than just a room with a bathroom then this might not work.

There was a nice view if we walked from the back where we stayed, to the front of the house, but couldn't see the lake from our unit. So that's false advertisement and a disappointment! The dog in the house behind us barked and woke us up early in the morning, and you could hear the people on the other side of our unit - the walls were very thin! Otherwise, it was a quiet neighborhood. Also, there was a lot of dust behind the bed, so people with a dust allergy would have truly suffered! Fortunately, we weren't bothered and didn't see it until we dropped something behind the bed. But we liked the price and the owner was very nice when we had to make contact with her. We were nevertheless, grateful for a roof over our heads and it was fairly close to our family with whom we came to visit

Charming room and clean private bathroom

Our stay was very comfortable and welcoming. Jeanette checks in with you during your visit over the app to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Care and cleanliness was thought of throughout the entire room and bathroom. It was just about spotless. This was better than any hotel stay and feels like you are a guest in your family's home. The neighborhood was also beautiful, quiet and safe. Thank you Jeanette and your family for a great experience!

Hosts were very kind and accommodating! I had my own personal entrance, very quiet neighborhood, clean accommodations, and close to everything you would need! I live on the other side of the country and was visiting my father in skilled nursing. I will come back here again.

Great clean stay, great price!

Ample parking right in front of the location, easy access to get to the back, easy check in and out. We just needed a place to rest our heads and shower at the end of a Long Beach day, and this is exactly that! Perfectly clean, coffee and tea provided and a convenient mini fridge and microwave for left over snacks from the day. Take out menus and cutlery were provided as well. BONUS was the FREE games on the tv remote.. we had fun those! Great stay, great price!

Very nice

The accommodation was very nice- very clean and pleasant. The area was also pleasant and easy to find. The owner was very welcoming. We had our own entrance and bathroom. The only issue we had is that the mattress was really firm, and made sleeping soundly difficult. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a nice and affordable place to stay in the area.

Suited our needs

After some self-imposed confusion, our checkin went smoothly. Owner was responsive to questions. The room felt a little small for us, but we were visiting relatives and basically just sleeping and showering there, so it suited our needs. The property was very quiet for the entire week. It appears the house is under renovation process, so it's not aesthetically pleasing upon arrival with tools and trash in the front and sides of the house. The room however was clean and everything worked well (shower, microwave, etc.).

Nice Winter Getaway

We had no problem with the check in process. We did have some issues getting the door to open. They did tell us it would stick, but it really does. So once we punched the code in we would have to turn the handle and push on the door with our shoulder hard to open but it would eventually open. It was a very nice place and mostly clean; however, there was a used towel left on the floor in the master bath. It was super close to many places and such a beautiful setting. We were surprised however that there was no manual in the home. We also had no internet service and no Dish network TV service for a day and a half which wasn’t a problem during the day because we weren’t there but in the evening and morning it was a little frustrating. Overall though we would stay here again.

Our home is located in a nice quiet safe neighborhood, it is very relaxing as it faces a lake great to go for a brisk walk, jog or run. We have a great tree swing to sit and relax and just enjoy Florida nature, we have seen ducks, Pelicans, rabbits, blue jays, cardinals, wood peckers, and colorful birds in our area.
