Why Knot… come and enjoy all that OBX has to offer.

This beautifully decorated 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is located on the 2nd floor of Pirate's Cove Resort. It offers stunning views of the Sound and canal front. The open floor plan maximizes the Sound views from the living room, bedroom, kitchen, and dining areas. Our home away from home was recently renovated in 2022 with new living room and deck furniture, a 65” Smart TV, all stainless-steel kitchen appliances, and dining room table with high top chairs. Each bedroom is equipped with a Smart TV, and we have a Keurig for your favorite cup of coffee or tea. Please note that standard cable is not provided to guests.

The sound-front Master bedroom is equipped with a King bed and an en-suite bath. Bedroom #2, overlooking Rudder Canal, features a Queen bed. A free boat launch is conveniently situated near Pirates Cove, and off-site trailer parking can be provided for a nominal fee. Additionally, dock slips can be coordinated with the Pirates Cove Realty Office for interested guests, at an extra cost.

This condo is a Vacation My Way Property, requiring a minimum stay of 3 nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During the off-season, a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. Please note two exceptions: a weekly rental is mandatory for the week of July 4th (06/28/2025 - 07/05/2025) and the Bill Fish Tournament week (08/10/2025 - 08/17/2025).

Pirate's Cove is a gated community brimming with amenities including a community pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, clubhouse, fitness center, sand volleyball court, basketball court, outdoor pavilion, and 4.2 miles of lighted dock. All of these amenities are within walking distance from this centrally located condo with elevator access right outside your door.

Onsite, you'll find the Bluewater Bar and Grille and Mimi Tiki Hut just a few minutes' walk away, along with the Ships Store and the world-class Pirate's Cove Marina offering charters for offshore/inshore and sightseeing tours. The community is golf cart-friendly, great for bike rides, and you can fish and crab right from the docks.

This unit is non-smoking and pet free, sleeping up to 4 guests and providing 2 parking passes.

Nicest place in OBX

We go to the outer banks every year for my parents and our anniversary. By far the best place we’ve stayed. Wonderful area and the condo is beautiful. Great views and so much to explore. 10/10.

Perfect Condo for Us!

We stayed at the “Why Knot” condo for 7 nights. The condo was very clean and the owners thought of everything in terms of amenities. The kitchen is “fully-loaded” with every cooking utensil, pot, or pan you could need. The view from the master bedroom and the back porch deck were absolutely incredible! You can see the sunrise from the back porch, which has very comfortable and well-made furniture. We even saw pods of dolphins from the porch making their way through the Sound. The building has an elevator which makes it very easy to transfer your belongings up and down. You can walk to the tennis courts and gym as well as walk to Mimi’s Tiki Bar and Blue Water Grill for some tasty drinks and food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely felt at home in the “Why Knot” condo and will definitely be back!

Amazing stay

We have been coming to OBX for years and this was by far the nicest place we’ve stayed. The condo was immaculate with amazing views. The community is great too with the pool, restaurant, and the docks in the back which was perfect for crabbing and fishing. Very spacious and perfect location for 3-4 people.

Coastal Life on the Water

Beautiful 2 BR/2 Bath condo with updated appliances and great furnishings. View of the sound from the balcony is exceptional (especially sunrise). Very quiet location with excellent amenities including the Bluewater Grill which is on site.

This property was amazing! The weather wasn’t great but the property was so nice that I didn’t mind staying there and enjoying the view from our balcony.
