The Space:
Our handsomely decorated 1 bedroom 1 bathroom condo is located on the third floor of this well-known upscale building. "Known for what?" you say. Well, for being trailside of course! Or more precisely, the south side of the building is directly adjacent to one of the area's most famous trails called the TART Trail. Guests are sure to love Trillium's easy access to Traverse City, Cherry Capital Airport, Front Street, The Filling Station Microbrewery, Elev8 Climbing Gym, Silver Spruce Brewing Company, bike shops, beaches, marinas, bayside parks, and many more of downtown TC's award-winning offerings!
Trailside45 is a pet-friendly building that was designed for "living the lifestyle" and boasts a secure bike locker on each level. In addition, there is a community room where guests can kick back and enjoy the company of other residents or take in a movie on the large screen TV. The community room also makes a great meeting or workspace and should feel like an extension of our guest unit.
Guests will enter the building through a secure entrance and take the elevator to the third floor. Upon walking into the Trillium, they will be delighted to see the soaring ceilings, comfortable furnishing, and the unit's fun decor. Not just ideal for cyclists, this unit will attract guests of all kinds.
The Trillium is one level with a little over 600 square feet and features a private master bedroom. There is also a sleeper sofa with an egg crate, mattress cover, and bed linens in the living room, which is great for kids or guests that might only stay part-time.
The kitchen is well-appointed and offers all the essential cooking equipment like pots, pans, cooking utensils, sharp knives, and dining sets for four guests. It is also stocked with salt, pepper, pan spray, plastic wrap, foil, baggies, coffee filters, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and a few rolls of paper towels, making it easy to start cooking as soon as you arrive.
The full-size stackable washer and dryer are in the master bedroom closet. This is where you will also find extra linens, beach towels, and two full sets of bath towels per guest. We have also provided enough laundry detergent and fabric softener to do a couple of loads of laundry if you prefer to travel light and launder your clothing onsite.
After enjoying all that Traverse City's bustling downtown and the surrounding area has to offer, you can come home for some much-needed relaxation. The western-facing balcony is the perfect spot for grilling and sipping local wine while watching the sunset. And when mother nature throws a wrench in your plans, you can cozy up with your favorite streaming network or surf the internet until your heart is content on our complimentary guest Wi-Fi. We also have several board games, a couple of decks of cards, and a few puzzles.
Rental Policy:
- No smoking or fireworks are permitted
- Two small to medium-sized dogs are okay upon approval (2 max)
- $150 Non-refundable pet fee per pet
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- Minimum booking age is 25
To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $49 for 1-29 nights, $249 for 30-59 nights, $319 for 60-89 nights, and $390 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $49 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.
Guest Access:
This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instruction before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, and full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.
CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.
•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.
•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)
•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)
•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.
•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.
•Put patio cushions back. (If applicable.)
•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes may result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.
•Turn off all lights.
•Lock the door.
