This 2nd floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food and specialty cocktails.There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Unit #245 is a corner unit, offering beautiful Panoramic Ocean views to both the East and the North. Come enjoy the gentle cross breeze, additional light and privacy that only a corner unit can offer.245's 2nd floor location affords the best ocean views. Get ready for sand between your toes and relaxation for your soul. Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking sun and moon rise views and short walk to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Unit 245. You will delight in the ambiance of this property, and that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha! Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in the fabulous lu'au at Kilohana Plantation, and every night you will return to the serenity of 245 and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.

For your convenience, #245 includes: high efficiency Fujitsu A/C plus ceiling fan with remote; free WiFi; 40 inch flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix; microwave; coffee maker; mini fridge with separate freezer door (and there are two ice machines on property); all necessary kitchen utensils; all necessary linens (organic cotton bed linens and towels), bath, kitchen, and beach towels; iron and ironing board. You can BBQ poolside or enjoy stunning views of Waipouli Beach from the comfort of your lanai.

Please note there are no elevators on property. Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point to them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If Guest does not check out at designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

*IMPORTANT: The standard number of allowed guests is 3. If you wish to add more guests to your trip, there is an extra person fee of $30 per guest beyond the standard allowed guests.

If you think there is a chance you will have to cancel your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance from the company we recommend (Yonder Insurance) and mention Kauai Vision Rentals sent you. Yonder gives back with every travel insurance policy sold and was started with a social mission in mind. "We will feed a hungry child for a week with every policy purchased." Providing meals for kids in Nepal and Burma. As Yonder grows more meals are provided to these remote places.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals.

Wonderful place
Aston Islander is in a wonderful location. Easy access from the airport, very to close to good restaurants, shopping, and of course the beaches. We stayed in unit 245, having stayed at the islander before, the rooms seem pretty much the same. This unit had two small refrigerators which was quite convenient. Second floor balcony is a good blend of view and privacy. The only mild issue was that the balcony was not swept and was quite sandy, but luckily there was a broom and dust pan in unit. We did also have one of the metal patio chair legs break from being corroded through, but you're only 30 ft from the ocean so these things happen. The owners are very communicative and professional and I would highly recommend renting from them.

Needs improvement
This property is an ocean front unit which makes it excellent. However, the unit requires a lot of work. The bed is not comfortable (noisy - for every turn while sleeping, as such you can't sleep) sounded like the mattress is wrapped in hard plastics! The utensils, coffee cups are dirty, can't access WIFI as the information provided on the check-in paper's is not correct, Lastly, on day one of our stay, we've already received message instructions, on checkout process and this was followed on day two!!!! I'm giving it a 3 stars for location but other than that it would be a one star.

Outstanding location just a few steps from the beach. Lanai has fine view as well. Coconut market has most of what you need in walking distance. Management was quick and responsive to address an issue. Unit interior is a bit dated, but clean. Tiny kitchen sink seems par for these units, but would benefit from upgrades.

We absolutely loved our stay. You can't beat the ocean views from the balcony. The property was beautiful, and it was great to have beach access and a pool to use. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Great condo, awesome location, great price!
I have stayed in this group of condos before and this condo has the best location with the best view for the price. This condo was very clean and well maintained. The condo owner and management communications were great and they provided a lot of information well before our check in to be sure our stay was issue free. I would definitely rent this condo again in the future.

Great Location / Beautiful View
This corner unit is on the second floor with an unobstructed view of the ocean. There is lots of shopping and a number of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Islander on the Beach is a very well maintained and quiet complex. No traffic or other noise (except of course the crowing roosters that are everywhere on the island).

Great location, good facility
Walking distance to multiple restaurants. Property has beautiful, well-maintained landscaping and pool. This unit needs a new mattress and some simple touchup. Instructions for wifi and TV had errors that took too much time to figure out. That's an easy fix. Would stay here again.
