Die umfassende Renovierung wurde im Frühjahr 2016 mit einer neuen Küche abgeschlossen, die von einem lokalen Architekten und einem professionellen Koch entworfen wurde. Alles, was Sie brauchen, um unglaubliche Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten. Dies ist die Traumküche eines Küchenchefs, in der auch ständig aktualisiert wird, wo die absolut besten Zutaten erhältlich sind. Ein Fischmarkt mit lokalem Fisch und Meeresfrüchten ist weniger als 1,6 km entfernt.
Es gibt 9 professionell eingerichtete Zimmer mit neuen Hartholz-, Fliesen- und Dielenböden. Modernste Elektronik wird ständig aktualisiert und gewartet.

Jede Jahreszeit hat hier ihre eigenen Klänge, Ansichten und Aktivitäten, die wirklich einzigartig sind. Das Hotel liegt auf Mason's Island in einer bewaldeten Wohnanlage, die über einen kurzen Damm leicht zu erreichen ist. Gelegen zwischen den historischen Küstenorten Mystic und Stonington. Ideal zum Wandern, Radfahren und Sightseeing. Ein aktives Fischadlernest liegt gleich hinter dem Garten. In der Nähe von Mystic Seaport und Aquarium, Foxwood Casino, Stränden, Newport Mansions, Block Island Ferry und Amtrak. Genießen Sie Bauernmärkte, Kunstfestivals, hervorragende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, hervorragende Restaurants und lokale Meeresfrüchte. Für Ihr kleines Boot steht eine Anlegestelle zur Verfügung. Lage: Das Haus befindet sich in einem geschützten Feuchtgebiet mit vielen alten Bäumen auf dem Grundstück. Das Haus wurde sorgfältig entworfen, um in die umgebende Umwelt zu passen. Reiher, Fischadler, Rehe, Rotfuchs, Schwäne und Enten sind häufige Besucher. In den Wintermonaten werden Robben gesichtet. Der Wintergarten ist an drei Seiten von Wasser umgeben und ein phänomenaler Ort, um sich zu entspannen, ein Buch zu lesen oder die ständige Parade der Boote zu beobachten, die zum Mystic Seaport und zu den Jachthäfen fahren.

Wandern, Laufen, Radfahren: Mason's Island ist ideal für Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Begrenzter Verkehr und breite asphaltierte Straßen sind ideal für Fahrräder, Wanderer und Läufer. Fortgeschrittene Radfahrer wagen sich von der Insel weg, um historische, wunderschöne Landschaften und eine großartige Mischung aus flachen und hügeligen Gebieten zu erleben. Es gibt ein voll ausgestattetes Fahrradgeschäft nur 1, 6 Meilen entfernt.

Essen: Es gibt viele Restaurants in der Umgebung. Zahlreiche Restaurants befinden sich im Umkreis von 1,6 km in Mystic und etwa 8 km in Stonington Village. Family Visit

The home was perfect and in a wonderful location. Only a few miles from downtown mystic. You could go into town and do some exploring of the restaurants, shops and bars which is definitely well worth it or you could hang out, enjoy the awesome views and go for quiet walks. I have used a lot of VRBO's and Air B & B's in the past and this is definitely one of my favorites

We had an amazing time at this home. Mason's Island is a beautiful part of Mystic and this house cannot be beat. The view is everything!! But the house also delivers. The kitchen is amazing - we cooked a small Thanksgiving meal while there and we had more than enough available to us to make that happen. The rooms are set up to be cozy and enjoy the amazing views. The outside is nicely done with plenty to enjoy even in the colder months. Glori was delightful to work with - her list of things to know and activities to enjoy show how much she cares about her guests enjoying their stay. My whole family loved it - kids to adults - and we are all hoping to be able to return someday soon. Just a great experience all around!

Found the Impossible

This home is the rental I always dreamed of. Beautiful home - unbelievably well stocked - perfect location in a private, secluded area but within minutes of Mystic. Large yard for enjoying games - spacious sunroom that is so close to the water that you feel like you could dip your toes in the water while sitting there. Glori was wonderful and made sure everything was well tended to. We can’t wait to go back.

Bird Haven by the Sea

We had the most amazing time watching all the birds on the surrounding property as well as relaxing and watching the waves. There is shore, marsh, ponds, grass, trees and bushes so you get great variety of birds. There are panoramic views out of almost every window of the house showcasing all the different scenery. The inside of the home is even better than it looked in the pictures. You really don’t need to leave the home. But if you do it’s also awesome that the most of the restaurants and shops are less than 10 minutes away. Great experience!

A Peaceful Retreat

This property was everything it was advertised to be and more. The home was very comfortable and had a homey atmosphere. Beds were extremely comfortable and the home did not lack for anything we needed. Owners were always available to answer questions and provided extensive information regarding restaurants, shopping and points of the interest in the area. Amazing home

We had a wonderful week on Mason's Island. The School House Lane home was everything we expected and more. Gorgeous and not a spec of dust to be found. The kitchen was top-notch; all beds were comfortable. Even during the record-breaking heatwave, the house stayed comfortable and the air-conditioned bedrooms assured a great night's sleep. I loved watching the osprey nest from the upper bedroom window. Rare opportunity to see three osprey chicks take their first flights. Talk about a bird's eye view!! Glori was responsive and so helpful. She gave us great advice on sights and restaurants. Couldn't have asked for more. Five stars!!!

This property is at a good location. It is a wonderful house with a beautiful view.

I had one of the best rental experience from this rental. Glori is really thoughtful and responsive throughout the rental period. The house is spacious with a large kitchen. Perfect Family Retreat

This house is really special! Kitchen has everything you need and the water views are spectacular! If you don’t want to cook Mystic has plenty of great restaurants to choose from as well. We stayed with my elderly mother and our 10 year old -great space for all generations to be together. House is clean, hosts accessible. The total package! We hope to come back for longer next time!

Masons Island magical beach house

This house is absolutely delightful...like stepping back into one of the original beach cottages directly on the CT shore with all the charm...the location and view could not be better...lovingly maintained and updated by generations of the same family, this home is comfortable and so welcoming. The kitchen is the envy of all who have the pleasure of sharing this special place. Stayed at this house during Thanksgiving. Location is beautiful and near shops (Mystic) and convenient to highway. In addition to the natural beauty of Mason’s Island, we were completely amazed by the most well equipped kitchen we have ever had in a rental house- and for Thanksgiving that was really important. Fabulous house and location. A great vacatiom

This was one of the best vacation rentals we ever had and I have rented many homes both in the US and Europe. Everything about the property was wonderful. The owners were totally responsive, the house was even better than the photographs and the entire week couldn’t have been better. Huge and clean house with breathtaking views

My family had a wonderful time over thanksgiving in Glori & Chuck’s home. They were very helpful attending our needs when we had trouble operating the tv. The house was impeccably clean and everything you need for a house is provided eg towels, kitchen ware etc. my family spent the first day of our stay taking pictures of the house. There are glass ornaments in the kitchen that lit up at night. The house has plenty of sitting area and a kitchen for the professionals. Outside, the house has its own dock where you can walk to feed the fish and swans. The swans come by occasionally and it’s great to view them from the sun room in the winter. The houses in the area are located far from one another, so one won’t have to worry about interacting with neighbors if you plan to have a quiet time with friends and family. Lastly, the house is a 3 minute drive to Mystic which is a beautiful town, what I call a quaint New England town. I strongly recommend the place to anyone who wish to spend a quiet peaceful time with family and friends. A great location to spend thanksgiving and Christmas with family.

My grandparents built this house in 1946 when there were only a few people on the Island. They were able to get an absolutely ideal location. I have been coming here since the 1950s. We have continually updated the house and have had it professionally decorated. We don't put very much away, so our guests will feel that they are in a real home, not a rental

Everybody who walks into the house is taken by the views and the way that it fits naturally into the setting. It is very well decorated but has a relaxed feel that makes it very comfortable. The sounds of the water and wildlife are simply incredible. The coziness does not mean antiquated. The electronics are incredible and easy to use.
