Perfect Place

Some of our family stayed on the beach. After seeing all the people and traffic I was happy we were on the bay. The lazy river was great and the view was amazing.

Greatest Stay/will definitely be back

We have stayed at numerous locations in and around Orange Beach. But this is by far the best location and our first trip with our dogs. Phoenix on the Bay 2 was phenomenal.

This is our third year to stay at Phoenix on the bay 2. We like this location because of the location and the service from the host. The lazy river the two girls loved. Also, very close to some excellent seafood restaurants. We plan to go again in 2024.

Fantastic and laid back

The unit is clean. A little off the beaten path but so close to everything. We loved the quiet neighborhood and friendliness of the staff and residents. If you are looking for a quiet rest and a great place to take your family and pet this is a wonderful place to stay. The lazy river and the view of the boats going and coming each day are fantastic.

Good time with family

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit had an animal smell when we arrived but seemed better after first day. HOA must be worried about law suits. I have a lightning app on my phone that lets me know when lightning is in the area. We had to leave the pool area every day but the last one. Every time a small cloud got close, we had to leave with NO lightning close by.

TV problems

Need batteries for TV remote in LR. Also need instructions for TV and replace HDMI cord which was attached to TV. Maintenance used the Blu Ray cord to hook to Direct TV. Bad cord is loose under TV.

They loved the water slide. Our dog loved the condo and walking down to the boat pier and watching all the kids fish. Employees are friendly. Nick the pool monitor is very nice. Living room had one couch and a chair. Could use one more chair in the living room. The property is well cared for and very clean and beautiful grounds.They have several dog areas you can walk your dog and doggy poop bag stations. Not every condo is pet friendly but a few are. We would stay in this condo again.

Beautiful view

After a long hot boat ride, I couldn’t wait to arrive at destination and get in air conditioning. I did not realize an email with instructions would be coming from property manager and not directly from vrbo. Email w instructions went to spam and I never saw bc I was “searching” keywords like vrbo. So we panicked not knowing how to get in to condo. Finally after much to do (calling property management which had left 30 min after check in time & vrbo who tried their best to help)I started searching in spam folder and found. Once we arrived it was a pleasant stay. We slept well in the blackout bedroom. Only issue was it’s by the trash shoot and I was t aware why every now and then why there was so much noise at 5:30am. Other than that we had a very nice stay. Take a float for the lazy river which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Beautiful Room with Excellent Customer Service!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room was beautiful and so peaceful for our Thanksgiving break. My husband is an amazing cook and worried the kitchen would not be properly stocked for a large meal, but he made it work! He did point out the stove was a little small, but if you aren’t cooking ham and turkey with several sides that’s unlikely to be a real issue! Haha Julia was amazing as we prepared for our trip and really helped to ensure it was a seamless experience from a customer service standpoint. I really appreciated her efforts! We are already considering going back during the spring because my kids loved the pool area (but it was too cold to swim during our stay!) it’s become a Thanksgiving tradition to spend the week at the beach and we typically stay at Gulf Front beaches so I was worried we would be disappointed on the bay/cove area. We had no regrets! Calm, beautiful views, beautiful condo and wonderful customer service that went beyond past experiences or expectations!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our whole week was a dream! Phoenix on the Bay 2 was just beautiful. Very clean and well taken care of. The pools and grounds were spotless.The staff was so friendly and always asking if they could do anything for us. The security guards were present so I never felt uncomfortable taking my dogs out at 10pm for a little walk.The condo itself was gorgeous!! Beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless.We got contacted right away by Phoenix rentals to see how things were.The microwave was not heating and we had a contractor in on a Sunday to check it out. As a part needed to be ordered, a portable microwave was brought in for our use.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The grilling area outside was cleaned nightly. A 5 star property. We will be back!!!
