Oceanfront Villa for Two, Spectacular Views, Private Pool

Welcome to Paradise! Sit back and relax with your favorite beverage as you enjoy 180 degree panoramic ocean views from our tropical cliffside island cottage. Villa Margarita is situated on almost an acre of ocean front property, just minutes away from world famous Magen’s Bay Beach.

With its unique pavilion style architecture, Villa Margarita focuses living and dining in one area, and affords the quiet and privacy desired for resting and sleeping in a separate one. In the main house, you’ll enjoy breathtaking ocean views from the living and dining areas, along with all the amenities of a fully equipped kitchen. Dine inside or al fresco amongst the beautiful and lush tropical landscaping. The bedroom suite, offers a king bed with an ensuite bathroom and an incredible view of the ocean through large patio doors.

The private saltwater pool shares the same dramatic views of the ocean and neighboring islands as the main house. It’s the perfect place to take in the sun and read a good book.

Our home is graced with cooling trade winds and these lovely sea breezes help keep the rooms comfortable most of the year. Air conditioning is available in the bedroom for when the weather is a little warmer.

We are in a private, gated neighborhood, so guests must have their own rental car. There is another small rental unit on the property, but there are no shared spaces. Pool is private!

All guests are required to provide ID and sign our rental agreement.

Breezy Living

My wife and I have stayed on St Thomas a number of times, first at hotels then at resorts and 2 years ago at a VRBO near a resort on the south shore This year we went a little “outside the box” having never been any further north than Magen’s Bay. Very glad we did! This is quite a unique property in our opinion and you most definitely have to rent a vehicle!!. We had a small 2 Dr, 2 passenger Jeep that worked well on the 3 hairpin turns down to Villa Margarita. Our favorite things: • The spectacular view • The night time breeze through our bedroom, no AC necessary • The pool, very clean and well lit. • There is a lot of indoor space with comfortable dining and living room furniture • The feeling of remoteness even though Charlotte Amalie is only 20 minutes away. And Diane was quick to respond to our questions via text although we had very few. One recommendation, If you like to play music out loud, the system has good sound, but has dated Aux inputs so bring CDs or that single plug the lightning cord replaced. We will return!!

Amazing views, very private and secluded

My wife and I stayed at Villa Margarita for a week on our honeymoon and we both loved it. The views are absolutely incredible, pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. The property is very private, it is a little challenging to navigate the switchback turns to get down to the house but you’re rewarded once you’re there.

The location of Villa Margarita is amazing. It's so incredibly quiet, except for the occasional boat or landscaping crew. The views of the islands is why I got up at daybreak to watch the clouds and sun - it was different every day. The property is very nicely appointed, with a nice kitchen including coffee and a selection of spices. The pool was such a nice place to relax. Properties on either side are having work done, but it was only intermittent and there's plenty of greenery to screen most of the view. You will need to be a confident driver, but once there, you'll know it's worth it.

Great Location

Private and beautiful. Windy side of the island but the pool was refreshing and the views were incredible. Crazy driving in St Thomas if you’re not used to it but worth the challenge. Allow time to get used to it. Northside Grind was our favorite for breakfast. Try Sibs on the Mountain for dinner. Not far. Skip Mountain Top unless you’re into tourist traps. Diane our host was great and stayed in touch throughout our stay.

Amazing Oceanfront Villa

We absolutely loved Villa Margarita. It made paradise feel like home. It is very private and the views are amazing…especially to fall asleep and wake up to. Plenty of information about the property, restaurants, things to do, shopping, etc was provided prior to our arrival. This was very helpful! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Villa

The Villa Margarita was a cute, clean, handy, cool place with a great view of the ocean. All the amenities listed were exactly as quoted. The pool was a perfect temperature as well as clean and well kept. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool! The evening breezes kept the kitchen and living areas cool too! Definitely would recommend this to anyone!!

Lovely stay in St. Thomas

Very comfortable space perched right on a cliff over looking the water - very dramatic and amazing. Kitchen fully equipped, pool terrific and the trade winds made the space very comfortable. Would stay again.

Honey moon bliss!

Right after getting married, we went to St. John, then came to St. Thomas as the second half of our honeymoon, boy did we go out with a bang! This place was paradise, so much so, we spent the very last day of our honey moon soaking it all in here! The panoramic views are stunning, on both the top and lower portions of the property. We felt comfy and safe in the gated community, and the location was incredibly convenient for the island. We loved having the whole place to ourselves, the pool, the ocean waves to fall asleep and wake up to, we even had fun with the binoculars provided! The bed was stiff for us at first, maybe a mattress topper would help, but we quickly got comfy. There were so many nice touches, such as the cute flashing Christmas lights in the kitchen just for fun! We really felt at home here, and we truly cherish finishing off our honeymoon moon here. We will always look back at Villa Margarita with a special place in our hearts.

Fantastic Oceanfront View

This is a fantastic oceanfront property! The online listing is accurate and the pictures are spot on. The winds keep the rooms pleasant and the waves crashing against the rocks lull you to sleep. We enjoyed sunrise views every morning and spent our afternoons at the pool. There is a rental underneath the bedroom portion of the unit but they have their own entrance and do not share the pool. The kitchen is equipped with every pot/pan you will need along with spices, alcohol and condiments (left by previous tenants). There is a grill but we didn’t use it. Previous tenants have also left a supply of sunscreen and other items. The owner provides all of your paper products (don’t buy anything), soaps and shampoo/conditioner. We highly recommend Villa Margarita…you won’t regret this one!
