The Space:

Imagine yourself looking out at the lake through gigantic picture windows as your sip your morning coffee in our completely stocked kitchen. The day only gets better from there as you enjoy the wide variety of features at your disposal here on this beautiful lake front home. Spend time sitting on the wrap around porch, listening to the local birds, and then walk down the lovely property to the dock. You have lake toys at your disposal to play in the lake (a 2 person kayak and a stand up paddleboard), and when you want something different enjoy some ping pong, pool, air hockey, or arcade games in the game room. You can take an excursion to nearby Tugaloo State park where there is a beach, volley ball courts, nature trail, and putt putt course. As you relax in the evening after a full day enjoy the spectacular sunset over the lake. Then, roast marshmallows under the stars at the elegant outdoor fireplace and move inside to watch a movie on the big screen. After a busy day on the lake, relax in the 8 person hot tub with 70 jets!

New owners have recently taken ownership and upgraded this already 5-star property. We have added a brand new luxury hot tub, upgraded AV equipment in the movie theater room, and theater recliner seating with tray tables for your popcorn.

LAYOUT
There are 3 bedrooms, a loft, and 3 full bathrooms (one on each floor.) On the main floor, you will find a bedroom with a king size bed and a bedroom with a queen size bed. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with 3 twins and a loft with another 2 twins--perfect for the kids.

The spacious family room has large windows, a dining space for large groups, and a full-size kitchen.

Downstairs there is another kitchen perfect for making and mixing your drinks and snacks before heading off to the dock. There is a multi-function game table (pool, ping pong, air hockey) as well as an arcade game. You will also find an incredible movie room with projector that provides for more sleeping space for groups.

DOCK
The dock has room to tie up your own boat or rent one from the marina that is close by (Harbor Light.) The mud room has lots of things you can use to enjoy the lake--chairs, floats, life jackets, etc. There is also a hammock provided that you can hook up on the trees beside the outdoor fireplace.

WATER DEPTH
As of February 2024 we have 10' of water at our dock which is plenty for any size boat!
Due to our positioning on the lake we are able to move our dock in and out and maintain this water depth.

PATH TO DOCK
The distance down to the dock from the house is 254ft.

You will leave our home with a feeling of fun, peace, relaxation and time well spent with family and friends. Come join us where the water meets the sky!

BOAT RAMP
Poplar Springs Boat Launch Access is only a 1/2 mile away. This is a prime location about 8 minutes off the I-85 interstate Exit 173, in the growing town of Lavonia, GA. It is approximately 1 hour northeast of of the Atlanta metro area, 30 miles south of Exit 19 Anderson, SC (Clemson University) or 45 minutes from Athens, GA (University of GA.)

Lake Hartwell has many recreation opportunities, including boating, fishing, hiking. The city of Lavonia is charming and has many delightful shops. Tugaloo State park is just around the corner.

CHECK IN: 4PM
CHECK OUT: 10AM

CLEANING:
We clean and prepare our property for guests between 10AM check out and 4PM check in.

LATE CHECK OUT / EXTENDING YOUR STAY
Extending your check-out past 10am will affect our ability to have the house ready for 4pm check-in. We can alway look to see if the following night is available for rent if you would like to extend your stay to the following day at 10am.
