Big Bear Cabin is an immaculate mountain home located in Gateway Mountain's 3,000-acre nature preserve. Enjoy access to lush wooded forests, gorgeous waterfalls, and stunning mountaintop views. The community also has two small lakes and a trout pond for catch-and-release fishing (no license required). The cabin is a mere 1-mile hike to the private community waterfall and is just up the hill from the swimming area and fishing pond by Lake George.

Please note: This home is NOT pet-friendly. There are 2 ring flood light exterior cameras (1 at the front deck and 1 at the back porch above the door). Firewood is not provided. 4WD is not required the majority of the year but is strongly recommended during the colder winter months when icy and/or snowy road conditions are present. We also recommend travel insurance for those staying in the Gateway Mountain development during the winter months. No parking is allowed on roadways or at gate entrances. No RVs, boat trailers, camping trailers, or trailers of any kind are permitted in the Gateway Mountain Community.
