Unique private access studio with outdoor spa in paradise.

Perched on a hill-top of thirteen wooded acres—dark night skies and amazing hikes/view--22 miles north of San Francisco in the midst of tranquil paradise. A most unique and isolated getaways in the Bay Area, yet WiFi and cell coverage. Scenic, windy and at times bumpy paved one mile drive off of Lucas Valley road. Down 24 steps from unit is a gorgeous hot-tub, outdoor shower, seasonal outdoor fire pit, sauna and icebath. Sauna and icebath can be scheduled for two one time per night. Designer furniture, down comforter, beautiful art, high-end linens. A spacious studio, and we can bring in an extra single bed that can be requested.

The space
This is a large studio with work area and great wifi. Private entrance and deck. There’s a microwave, drip coffee, coffee, tea, plates, spoons, etc—mini-frig and utensils; but no kitchen. New Casper memory foam mattress. We provide extra heaters so occupants can control the temp during cold season. Best of the place: star gazing at night from the hot tub which is 24 steps from the unit, or watching hawks circle the grounds at eye level. We are on well water.

We have ample parking and are located 25 minutes from the closest downtown.

Other things to note
Our place is in Marin (Nicasio) and up a beautiful one mile drive through a wooded area. Although we are not far from civilization, it feels very remote and amazingly beautiful. Not that remote, but once you come you may want not to leave...
Some ambient noise is possible from main house.

The room is ideal for two, but for a small charge we can bring in a roll away bed and extra linens for a child, or extra person, or if you need two beds. Please ask and pay ahead of time so our cleaners are aware.

Also, it may be possible to book a two-hour early check-in or check out for $25. If desired, please request and we will ask the cleaner.

We know people come to our place to relax, and we respect this.

Beautiful secluded stay

We really enjoyed our stay here on a family vacation. It was quiet, well maintained, and we especially loved the hot tub! Elizabeth was quick with communication and provided plenty of information on the area as well. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Close to the trees

Beautiful location

This property is in a stunning location with a beautiful view. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. Lots of great hiking near by and close enough to restaurants and other activities.

The room is beautiful and pleasant. The drive up is steep and rough in places but manageable. It was cloudy and we got in late so we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub under the stars.

It was great we would stay there again!

My friend and I enjoyed staying at this Studio in Paradise. The place was convenient to where we were going and the accommodations are nice. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the view. The host is super nice. The unit was equipped for two separate people to stay and we are very grateful we chose this place.

Small, but cute place. Not ideal for teen kids (mine were not enthused), but would have been nice for a couple. Hot tub was nice n hot and clean! No frills or extras - don't forget to bring snacks. There is biting near by!

Lovely retreat

We had a really nice stay. Quiet, comfortable place to stay, good for what we needed, just a quiet retreat. Not a lot of places to sit, and definitely a drive from town. The morning after our stay we went over to Point Reyes for a hike. Recommend arriving during the daytime, the road is narrow and winding.

Quiet time in nature

Wonderful property. The directions from the host were really helpful. The bed was so comfortable, we're going to buy a new mattress! Lovely and quiet. Lots of birds. We inconvenienced the owner by not knowing our check out date, which she was gracious about. Then my husband lost his wallet, and Beth looked for us. Great host!
