We booked for 5 nights and ended up staying only 4. Family of four adults, in town for a concert and visiting extended family who live nearby.
Here are the good things:
-Communication from property agent/owner was good. No issues there.
-Location is good. Easy to hop on I-25 and get anywhere quickly. Neighborhood felt safe. Nice neighbor next door.
-Kitchen is nice. We didn’t cook but if we had wanted to it’s all there and that area of the home is the nicest - kitchen/dining area
Not as good:
-The whole house is currently a little “sticky”. I think owners don’t realize that after people stay there week after week without the same standards they would have for their own home, these places get a little yucky. The whole place needs a deep clean.
-I should have realized that when you don’t see pics of one of the bathrooms there is a reason for that. In this case, it’s the master. It was pretty much unusable. Standing shower that does not even include a shower caddy to place your shampoo or soap. Toilet hung on every single flush. Sink did not drain properly. We found it pretty unusable, so we used the guest bathroom along with our two adult children.
-Swamp cooler. It was hot in July. This swamp cooler just can’t keep up. There were additional fans for us to use and they helped, but it was really warm. The fan in one of the rooms only operated on the up function, so it was probably the worst.
Told owner most of these issues, so hopefully it is better now.
