„Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Ihrer Kabine. Es war eine wundervolle Abwechslung von einem langweiligen Hotelzimmer. “(Todd B. - letzter Gast)

Dies ist eine charmante und komfortable Hütte am Bass Lake, die etwas abgelegen auf einem kleinen Hügel mit Blick auf den See liegt. Es gibt ein Hauptschlafzimmer und ein Vollbad mit einem kalifornischen Kingsize-Bett und einem Fernseher. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist klein, mit einem Etagenbett, das oben in zwei Größen und unten in voller Größe ist. Dieses Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer mit Dusche, Toilette und Waschbecken. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Queen-Size-Ikea-Schlafsofa (bequem!) und einen großen Fernseher mit DVD / VCR-Player. Die moderne Küche hat eine Ecke für 4-6 Personen. Es gibt eine angrenzende Bibliothek / Höhle mit einem größeren Tisch, der zum Essen, Spielen, Rätseln, Basteln, Arbeiten an Ihrem Laptop usw. genutzt werden kann.

Auf dem Deck befindet sich ein Whirlpool mit Blick auf den See. Der Whirlpool ist besonders nachts wunderbar, wenn alles ruhig und die Sterne hell sind. Es gibt einen Terrassentisch (mit Sonnenschirm), der der perfekte Ort ist, um alle Mahlzeiten zu sich zu nehmen, zu spielen, sich bei einem Glas Wein zu entspannen usw. Sie werden auf jeden Fall viel Zeit auf dem Deck mit Blick auf die Hügel und den See verbringen. An der Seite des Hauses befindet sich ein abgeschlossener Hofbereich mit einer Betonterrasse und einem Basketballkorb. Kinder lieben es, in diesem Nebenhof zu spielen (obwohl kleine Kinder immer beaufsichtigt werden müssen)
Zum See sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Strand von Falls ist weniger als 1,6 km entfernt. In der anderen Richtung gibt es viele öffentliche Strände, die zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Wählen Sie einfach einen, der Ihren Vorstellungen entspricht. Wenn Sie kleine Kinder haben, gibt es an den Stränden, die unserer Hütte am nächsten liegen, viele flache Bereiche, in denen Kinder sicher spielen können. Das Wasser ist eine gute Temperatur zum Schwimmen im Sommer. Das Pines Village ist 2 Meilen die Straße hinunter. Dort finden Sie das Lebensmittelgeschäft The Pines, eine Tankstelle, einige Restaurants und Geschäfte, in denen Sie stöbern können. Auf beiden Seiten des Sees gibt es Bootsverleih und andere Verleihe sowie ein paar fantastische Burger-, Sandwich- und Eisdielen (Millers Landing und The Forks).

Die Stadt Oakhurst ist nur 13 km entfernt und bietet eine große Auswahl an Restaurants, Kinos, Lebensmittelgeschäften, Bowling usw. In der Nähe gibt es auch gute Möglichkeiten zum Golfspielen, Wandern und Angeln. Und natürlich ist Yosemite genau richtig! Es ist eine 20-minütige Fahrt zum südlichen Eingang von Yosemite (und dem Mariposa-Hain) und dann weitere 40 Minuten hinunter ins Yosemite-Tal. Tagesausflüge nach Yosemite sind sehr einfach. Kommen Sie nachts zurück, um im Whirlpool zu baden!

Diese Hütte ist ein perfekter Rückzugsort für Paare, die einen ruhigen Kurzurlaub wünschen. Familien lieben es auch!
Im Winter ist der Seespiegel deutlich gesunken. Es gibt ein paar Mal im Jahr Schnee, aber nicht regelmäßig. Normalerweise liegt Schnee auf der Straße in Richtung Yosemite, und es gibt einige Schneespielplätze, bevor Sie zu den Toren von Yosemite in der Nähe von Fish Camp gelangen. Am Badger Pass in Yosemite kann man Skifahren, Snowboarden und Schneeschuhwandern. Es ist ein großartiges Familien-Schneespielresort.

Peaceful Cabin with Stunning Views, Perfect for Yosemite Adventures

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful cabin near Bass Lake in late March, and it was the perfect spot for our getaway. The weather was incredible — sunny every day with temperatures in the high 60s to 70s. Finding the cabin was easy, and we loved how it was secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still close to Oakhurst for groceries and supplies. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and the stars at night were unbelievable!The cabin itself was in fantastic condition and had everything we needed. With six of us, it was cozy but spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable. After long days of exploring, we all agreed that relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the highlight of our trip. It was the perfect way to unwind, especially after our challenging (but amazing!) hike to Upper Yosemite Falls. The bit of snow at the top made it even more memorable.We also explored the local trails around Bass Lake and had a great time hiking Angel Falls via the Willow Creek Trail. The scenery was beautiful, and it was so convenient having such great hikes nearby.The hosts were wonderful, making sure everything was well-prepared for our stay. From the comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchen, everything was thoughtfully arranged. It was such a better experience than staying in a hotel. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our Yosemite adventures, and we’re already talking about planning another trip back. Highly recommend this spot to

First time at Bass Lake

.....for my wife and I and the stay was perfect. The cabin was just right for the two of us but also had a small room with bunks and a bathroom had we brought the kids. It was cozy, relaxing, and very well kept. The spa on the deck was very nice as well. Perfect located. Only a 7 minute drive to Ducey's on the lake. Beautiful views as well. Wendy was great and let us know everything was set up for us. Oh, and you don't have neighbors 10 feet away from you. Nice and private. Thanks for your hospitality Wendy. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great family get away

This was our first family trip to Bass Lake and this location was perfect for us! The house was clean and there was plenty of space for our family of 5. The house is kid friendly as there is plenty of space outside and a basketball hoop that kept my boys entertained. The hot tub was an added bonus for us and a relaxing way to end our day. The communication with the home owners was great and were more than happy with our stay here. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Stayed at this property August 15-18, 2024 with my daughter's family. The property was very clean, quiet and comfortable with ceiling fans in the rooms, and a partial view of Bass Lake. The Master bed was extremely comfortable. The patio and spa were private and the spa was clean and worked great. The gravel driveway has a sharp hairpin turn at the top with parking close to the front door. Downsides are; 1- The lack of adequate air conditioning in the hot months. The wall unit a/c blows into the living room and lacks air for the master bedroom, which is at a 90-degree angle with a 4-foot hall leading to it. Had to use a fan to redirect air to the hall, then another fan to suck air into the bedroom. The other bedroom is on the far end of the living room and lacks air. Had to use a fan to draw air into this room. 2- Very small 2nd bedroom and bathroom with a tiny shower smaller than a cruise ship. 3- With 5 or 6 people/teens the sofa bed is more comfortable sleeping on the sofa than making it into a bed. Small children would be fine.

Perfect location

The home was very comfortable with every needed amenity. For a cabin-like getaway in an area that is super easy to navigate with parks, beaches, fishing, water sports, nearby shopping, groceries, restaurants and more you can’t do better. Perfect Accommodation

Perfect accommodation for my family and conveniently located. The lake is a min away where you can set up on the shore. We rented a pantoon from the marina 8 mins away. Took the moonlight train ride at sugarpine 25mins away. And headed up the Yosemite to do some hiking. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The house was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). The view from the deck was great and the hot tub was nice to come home to after a long day of hiking. Nice and close to the entrance of Yosemite. Had enough kitchen supplies to make meals and it was nice to have a grill which we used a couple nights to make dinner. We enjoyed our stay here.

Neat and good location.

The house was neat and tidy, a bit outdated. The master bed was a bit too soft and the living room furniture wasn’t comfortable at all. The cous was old and cushions weren’t comfortable to sit in. The two chairs were fine but not in locations making it easy to watch tv or communicate with anyone in the kitchen. The hot tub was great but water level was low so we had to fill it. No shower supplies provided, so bring your own. Otherwise, all the other amenities were decent and it was an easy location.

Awesome!

Perfect getaway for small family. Close to mariposa/Yosemite, could see the snow from the mountains when we used the hot tub, and the home was spacious and accommodating for myself, spouse, 2 kids and small dog. It was clean and the owners are responsive. The place was clean and the wood stove was pretty and kept us quite warm. This was my second time going and I would go again.

We just wanted a little weekend away from home to relax and this was the perfect property. The home is highly organized and has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. Great Weekend with Family in Area

We enjoyed spending the 4th of July weekend with our family in Bass Lake. The beds were comfortable and the house was just the right size for 5 of us (4 adults and one child). The view from the deck was amazing and better than we expected from the pictures in the listing. A few hiccups that interrupted our stay (like a power outage and hot tub) but all-in-all, we were comfortable, close to the lake, and had that amazing view when we returned home after a day at the lake.

Great get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin We looked for a central location so we could enjoy the three nearby National Parks and this hit all our requirements in addition my dog Huckleberry was welcome too! We discovered the lake area as a bonus. The cabin was so clean, quiet and communication with Wendy was direct and timely. The cabin was comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and bedrooms were so comfortable after a long day at the parks. It is close enough to town for a full run to the grocery store, gas, pizza and anything else you might need. Bass Lake has some great casual eateries that also allow dogs on patios. This was a great vacation and can't recommend Wendy's place enough. Book now!!

Loved Our Stay

My husband, small doggie and I stayed 4 days/nights at this perfect cabin with a view of the lake. The communication with the owner from the time we booked our trip to the day we left far exceeded our expectations. That goes for the cabin itself as well. The place was super clean, stocked, wonderful side yard for dog to run and play, as well as a beautiful view of the lake that we were not expecting. The spa on the deck was the perfect temperature as soon as we arrived. The master bed was the most comfiest bed we've had out of all our VRBO stays. The location was perfect distance to Oakhurst as well as Bass Lake but still secluded enough to feel like neighbors were miles away. We truly enjoyed our trip to Bass Lake and the cabin was our home away from home. Thank you so much Wendy. Next time we visit Bass Lake, we will be sure to come stay again!

Will Be Coming Back!

We recently stayed at this charming cabin and had the most wonderful time! The cabin itself was so cozy and inviting, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed and offering great recommendations for local attractions and dining. We were especially impressed with how clean and well-maintained the cabin was - it was clear that a lot of care and attention had been put into ensuring that it was in top condition. We loved every moment of our stay and can't wait to come back and experience the warm hospitality and cozy comfort of this wonderful cabin again!

We are a couple in our late 60's from the San Francisco Bay Area. Bass Lake is a 4-hour drive from our home. We bought our cabin 17 years ago while taking an anniversary trip to a Bed and Breakfast in the area. We stopped by a realtor's office for a casual chat, found out that this little home had just become available for sale and hadn't yet been listed, went over to take a look, and made an offer to buy it! Thus, we returned from our anniversary weekend as first-time cabin owners.
We have traveled throughout France and stayed at many wonderful bed-and-breakfasts; we'd love for our French friends to enjoy our cabin while visiting America,

We love the peace and beauty of the mountain area. Although we have a boat, we find that we prefer the area when it's less crowded and we can hike and relax. My husband is a photographer, a la Ansel Adams, so there are limitless possibilities for his passion.

The hot tub under the starry sky soothes many harried souls. The lake is beautiful from all directions, whether you're on it or biking or walking around it. Burgers and sandwiches at Millers Landing must not be missed. A romantic dinner at Duceys is worth every penny. Cuddling in the cabin living room by the fire with a good DVD and a good local wine or hot cocoa is enjoyable, no matter what the weather is doing outside.
