Die Lake Forest Lodge bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Keuka-See und ist eingebettet in 3, 5 Morgen Pinien und Harthölzer. Diese Eigenschaft hat das Beste aus beiden Welten, wie es auch Seeufer hat. Die Kabine hat 3 Ebenen: Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über einen großen Raum mit Gaskamin, eine gemütliche Wohnküche und ein geräumiges Esszimmer für 10 Personen. Diese Zimmer blicken auf den See und bieten einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Keuka-See. Ebenfalls auf der Hauptebene befinden sich 2 Schlafzimmer und 1,5 Bäder. Die untere Ebene umfasst einen Sitzbereich mit Schlafsofa in voller Größe, ein Schlafzimmer, ein Vollbad sowie eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Das offene Loft in der 3. Etage verfügt über ein charmantes Holzbett. Es gibt mehrere große Terrassen zum Entspannen und Zusammensein mit der Familie und Freunden in privater Atmosphäre. Das LFL befindet sich am Hang gegenüber dem See und bietet eine abgeschiedene und ruhige Umgebung. Hinweis: Die Seeseite erreichen Sie, indem Sie zu Fuß oder über unsere steile Auffahrt gehen, die Straße überqueren und die gemeinsame / steile Auffahrt hinunterfahren, auf der 2 Parkplätze zur Verfügung stehen. Ungefähr 50 Stufen führen Sie zum malerischen Deck und zum privaten Dock.

Excellent Lake View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was an almost perfect late fall weekend and just loved being able to watch the sunrise from the comfort of our living room. Everything was as stated in the description. Having a heavy duty crew cab pickup presented an interesting endeavor getting turned around 😆, the driveway was very steep and not a ton of room. I managed. Skee Ball was a huge hit. Didn’t explore the dock since it was the last weekend of October. Would definitely consider staying there in the future. The host, Brian, was very responsive to questions.

Wine weekend

House was gorgeous and very clean. The only part that was a problem was the driveway. It is very steep and with the rocks on it it made it difficult to drive up and down it. Other than that it was perfect for our stay.

Awesome Place!

We had a great time enjoying our yearly family get together here. This cabin is huge and has a ton of charm and character. Keuka lake is beautiful as always. Brian was diligent and provided all the info we needed to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous property, amazing family get away

We had such an amazing and relaxing week here (I say this while traveling with 3 teenagers) . The house had plenty of room and everything we needed. The property was absolutely gorgeous, very private and relaxing. There was plenty to do between the wineries (Bully Hill being our favorite and only 10 minutes away), kayaking, swimming and snorkeling (very clear waters), and hiking. The kids had great luck fishing right off the dock and really loved the skee ball machine. There was one day when it rained alot but we didn't mind because the huge living room comfortably fit us all for a movie day. Plus the rain made the waterfall on the property really come alive. Once the rain stopped, we sat on the deck watching and listening to it while eating dinner. The host, Brian, also checked in on us when the weather was bad that day and throughout the whole stay was always available for questions. We take a family vacation every year and I have to say this was one of our favorites... we have people from 15-80 years old and it had something for everyone to enjoy.

Play Hard and Recharge

We rented a pontoon boat and tube which we kept docked at the private dock all week. Had so much fun exploring the lake and tubing every day. The views from the house are spectacular and we were able to catch a sunrise from the dock as well. LOVED this property so much - thank you!!

Keuka Lake, solstice and heat dome vacation.

What a perfect place to be during a heat wave! The enormous deck is such a jewel of this property and was utilized in so many ways: coffee at the bar, Yahtzee tournaments and scrapbooking at the tables, full moon gazing, huge lake floatie command station, etc. The living room was perfect for whole group movie nights and HGTV marathons for the lazy mornings. The deck on the lake with the provided kayaks were so much fun and refreshing! Keuka lake is not really that busy with boaters and such, so if you're looking for some serenity, you can find it there. The driveway was scary the first time going up with a fully packed mini van, but after that, we got the hang of it. The surrounding towns of Hammondsport, Penn Yan, Watkins Glen etc. all seemed to close up shop pretty early (restaurants closing at 7, 8 and 9 pm) , so I recommend checking closing times when making your plans for the day. If you have kids, or even if you don't, I recommend Castel Grisch winery in Watkins Glen because it has dinosaurs. The owner is super nice and responded to emails/texts almost immediately. We had the best time.

Family getaway

Had a great time at the Lake house! Enjoyed the skeeball machine and sitting on the deck wine tasting. The area is beautiful and the wineries were enjoyable. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. House was clean and well stocked.

Great views and great people!

The views from the deck are amazing and two days out of the week there were rainbows across the lake. It was a very relaxing visit and the towns people are friendly and helpful in pointing you in the right directions for your needs. Would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone that needs a getaway.

Fabulous fall weekend

This house was perfect for the 4 couples in our group. Enjoyed the view, fireplace and deck. Wonderful dinner around the huge table! Another great meal at the nearby Waterfront restaurant. So close to wineries, breweries and distilleries on beautiful Keuka Lake!

70th Birthday Celebration

We rented the home for a family trip to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday. The house did not disappoint! Plenty of room, quiet area with a beautiful view of the lake from the deck which was a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. Great price for the location and amount of space. Many great wineries nearby to enjoy. Would definently go back!

Such a great place

The outdoor spaces are amazing here. Lots of room to be for a group of eight. The family room has a wall of windows bringing the beautiful views inside. Fire pit at night making s’mores was super fun. The dock and kayaks were fun as well.

Great location and beautiful home

The location is wonderful, close to tons of things to do. The views were very nice from the front deck. Fishing and swimming from the dock was quite enjoyable, though the trek between the house and dock is quite significant in elevation. The house had everything you'd expect, including nice modern appliances and comfortable furniture, and even a record-player and records for enjoyment.

Beautiful Views

Great views of the lake, nestled into the hillside. We spent a lot of time on the large deck and ate all of our meals out there. Kitchen was well stocked with not just utensils, plates, etc but also a variety of spices. The dock and 2 kayaks were a nice feature. Overall this was a quiet, peaceful and enjoyable stay.

This home's kitchen was equipped with everything we could have possible need for our stay. It also had lots of puzzles and games if you choose to stay in on a rainy day. Beautiful home and we would definitely go back. Location was good short drive for food or drinks! Thanks again!
