Pirates Beach Couple’s Retreat is a rare gem and provides a luxurious stay for a romantic getaway on the island. If you are looking for some time at the beach or maybe a few days at the golf course, this is conveniently located within distance of both! It is also just 15 minutes to the seawall and 19 minutes to Pleasure Pier, but allows you to escape to your quiet retreat when you are done with the busyness of the seawall & downtown.

Retreat Highlights:

*There is an outdoor shower for use after your trip to the beach to rinse your sandy feet. It is equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
*You will find a very nice pellet smoker/grill for your use while there.
*We have plenty of space for parking in the driveway in front of the house, and there is also a large carport that is big enough to store your boat or RV while you are visiting. *Inside the house you will find an abundance of natural light from all of the windows and an open layout with every inch well thought out in the design process.
*For those who are combining work & play, you will find a work desk + chair in a more secluded area for your use.
*Access to the balcony is available from the living room and it provides you with incredible views and relaxing evenings. It is the perfect place to sit with a drink and enjoy the evening, or morning sunrise.

You will have access to the entire house, but the garage will be locked.

I always have my phone on me and will be available via the AirBNB app or via text/phone call. I am quick to respond if you need anything.

Our house is located on the West End of Galveston Island. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the house is situated between the Galveston Country Club, with great golfing available, and the beach. It is a very short drive to both. The house also has great views of the lake next to it form the living room windows and the front patio.

There is private parking available on the property. It is about half a mile to the country club and 3/4 of a mile to the beach.

We have also recently added 2 twin size mats that roll out to make beds for the little ones, if you can't get away for the weekend alone...or if you just want to take your kids on vacation with you. We use these for our kids when we visit and they love it. We lay them out on the living room floor for them to sleep on. But I just wanted to clarify so you know that there is not a separate sleeping area, or room, for the children. We welcome 2 adults max + 2 children.

****Please understand that this property is located on an island in a climate that has warm summers & humidity. Along with this weather we get lots of mosquitos, bugs and flying insects. In May there are also small winged termites in the area. While we wish that we could control these things, we simply cannot. We suggest bringing extra sunblock & bug spray...and don't plan on your hair looking great while down in the summer ;) Just enjoy the beach hair look. Thank you! ****
*We do allow one dog, but it must be a small dog (less than 15lbs only). We have hardwood floors throughout the house, so unfortunately we will not allow dogs that are larger than that. We also require that your dog is kept in a kennel when you leave them in the house alone.
*2 adult maximum for booking.
*Quiet hours 10pm - 8am. We want to respect our neighbors :)
*You must be at least 25 years old to book this house, via HOA regulations.
*You can only park in the driveway, parking along the side of the road is an HOA violation.
