Showcasing gorgeous marble counters and backsplash, the deluxe, full kitchen boasts modern design and high-grade, stainless steel appliances including a Viking brand gas range and double-oven. After the day's adventures, unwind in the living room while streaming shows and movies on the wall-mounted smart TV. In-home essentials include central AC, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

This home includes a lower level rental which can be rented separately as Vida La Playa (Unit B) or you can book both rentals together as Vida La Playa Compound.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful retreat!

We absolutely loved our stay here. In addition to the location being perfect (2 minute walk to beach, restaurants, coffee, etc.), the house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. We will absolutely be back.

Great location

This rental is a lovely, very clean home with a great location. It is near the beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. Our only problem was with the hot tub/spa. It was not working when we arrived, but the property manager, Allessandro, was so helpful in getting a repairman out quickly. It worked for one night and then would not start again. Allessandro, on his day off, put in a work order for repair and it was fixed the next day.. We were only able to use the spa half of the nights we were there, so I suggest trying to see if the spa is working upon check-in. We had no blow dryer or iron in the house, but Allessandro came immediately with new ones for us to use.. We have stayed in La Jolla Shores for many years, and this is one of the nicest homes we have rented.

85 % wonderful

This property was wonderful and perfect for our needs. We did find it kind of strange that we were unit A with one parking spot but we were never told that someone would be living under the house below the two bedrooms. This was a bit weird and I wish I was told that I would have a full time renter underneath the house and sharing the driveway. The house was not stocked with any type of soap or small shampoo and conditioner in the showers. The VRBO's I have stayed in usually provide at least a little soap and shampoo like a hotel. There was also only one roll of paper towels so when we ran out we had to use a hand towel from the bathroom. There were no kitchen hand towels to dry bowls and pans that did not go in the dishwasher...so we did this with paper towels. There was no blender. We did not find the sheets for the foldout bed for the den so we just had our son sleep in the twin bed which was actually very comfortable. There were very few towels and beach towels. The house was great and clean but it lacked some essentials in my opinion. I would certainly rent again...and just bring these items with me next time.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and modern. We had some issues with the hot tub but it was remedied quickly. Great location by the beach and parks, as well as some fun dining spots. Would stay here again without question.

Wonderful, peaceful stay

This home is one of the cleanest and most beautiful homes we have stayed in, in La Jolla and beyond. The neighborhood is peaceful and the home is well styled yet very comfortable, with all necessary amenities supplied. We are truly grateful to have had such a high quality experience and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Loved it!

This house was awesome for us! Walking distance from a great beach with a playground and close to other great spots to visit as a family. The house was also very kid friendly with a 2 and 5 year old. We loved the big kitchen, hot tub, and bean bag chair for kids to watch movies. Everything was beautiful and clean. We hope to be back next year!

Beautiful home, wonderful location!

The home is just as beautiful as the photos! Very clean and comfortable. It is just a short walk to tasty restaurants, our favorites were Piati’s and Shorehouse. Also the beach is beautiful and about a 5 minute walk from the house. My daughter loved the beach playground and swings, kept her busy!

Great location, lovely home

This ideally located home is walking distance to the beach and La Jolla Shores shops and restaurants. The private backyard was perfect for outdoor meals and relaxing in the jacuzzi.
