With an airy, modern interior, this 2br, 2 ½ bath townhome offers a romantic and peaceful getaway for couples or small families. It is centrally located in the community, overlooking a forest where deer congregate and the following enjoyments are the biggest decisions of the day -
Highlands Golf - Here, you can play 18 challenging holes surrounded by the hills and the deer on the nearby fairways and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner at the Highlands grill clubhouse -
Marina – Here, you can enjoy some fun in the Georgia sun while relaxing and fishing on our 540 acre lake, or borrow my 1 person inflatable dinghy and paddle around the lake.
Hiking Trails - You may decide to grab your boots and hike the many trails Lake Arrowhead offers around the mountain, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the scenery.
Parks/Pool – Red Cloud park or Great Festival Park - enjoy the pool, playground, pickle ball or tennis at one of the 2 community fun parks.
Explore nearby – Wineries, local attractions, small towns, Blue Ridge Mountains with all our beautiful falls and lakes are all nearby and if you need some city life, drive an hour for the day into Atlanta, and return to the serenity of “the Porch”.

Or, do none of these and simply relax on the porch with a nice refreshing drink.

Valentine's Day Getaway

This area is so beautiful and peaceful. I firhot all about the hustle and heachache of the city commutes, traffic, and noises. I felt like i actually left Georgia lol. The property owners are a class act! Thank you for your hospitality and making our Valentine's Day so special.

A great quiet little place!

“The Porch” was an amazing place to stay and make memories with my daughters. We enjoyed our first Christmas with just the three of us here and we made wonderful memories. I will never forget my girls coming down the stairs on Christmas morning and the excitement on their faces. Do yourself a favor and book here!

Cozy stay at Lake Arrowhead

Well appointed and charming mountain townhome in a scenic setting. JP was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions. My kids enjoyed deer spotting and the numerous parks and walking trails of the Lake Arrowhead community are a great bonus. Nice pickleball courts as well. Pools and the lake itself looked like fun if we had been there in the summer. Recommended!

Cozy, clean, and bright getaway for 4

I needed a place for my brother’s family during a multigenerational family gathering in the area. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful, arranging things so I could make the reservation on behalf of my brother’s family. My relatives loved the location, the layout of the home, and the surrounding area. A great place for a couple or small family.

Perfect location

"The Porch" was a great place to stay. I made the reservation at the last minute, and the owner (JP) answered all of my questions. He made the process very easy. We were there for my son's college golf tournament, and the location was perfect. It was less than a ten-minute drive to the clubhouse. The townhouse had everything we needed. We will be back and stay a little longer next time.

Incredible stay at Lake Arrowhead

Host JP has done a fabulous job making sure his “porch” was comfortable and clean for our six day stay. We took advantage of the serene back porch, both pools and took a lot of walks. My kids loved the cozy full sized bunk beds and en suite bathroom. The master was comfortable and decorated nicely. There were plenty of towels, games and everything you could possible need. The host was super responsive and friendly (as were the front gate guards!) - overall we’d definitely come back to The Porch in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hideaway

First of all I love Georgia and the Atlanta area! Waleska is a place we had never been to and thought it would be a great idea to stay in an area surrounded by nature. This townhome tucked away near the lake was a perfect spot to relax at. We had busy days but came back to this beautiful remote area not too far from town. The area was surrounded by deer and the view of the lake on the way to the townhome was amazing! The home itself was inviting and the neighbors were very friendly. This home provided everything we needed and JP communicated well and made sure we were taken care of. The last day of our stay we were able to see a group of Armadillos running around near our front porch! It may not be a big deal to the local's, but I have never seen one in real life. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home and I hope to come back if I am in the area again. Santino

Worth the Wait

The Porch was everything our family needed during a week-long stay for a travel baseball tournament. The property is located in a beautiful, secluded, and quiet nook in Arrowhead Lake and provided a restful haven after long days at the ballpark. The Porch is clean, accommodating, and oozing with character and a touch of home away from home. Surrounded by the soothing sights and sounds of Mother Nature, you will be transported into a place of calm and serenity with the added touches of breathtaking scenery and beautiful pools and golf and Lake Arrowhead that is postcard worthy day or night just minutes from The Porch. After a small issue during check-in, JP provided outstanding communication and customer service to "make things right". JP's genuine care and concern for my family and our comfort was above and beyond and helped make our entire family feel welcome and cared for. If you are looking for a property that provides all the comforts of home with top-notch customer service, cleanliness, and comfort, then look no further than The Porch. We will be back when our baseball schedule allows.

Perfect mountain lake retreat

Our stay at this property was fantastic. The spacious layout and great outdoor entertaining areas made it perfect for our needs. The perfect place to unwind

“ The Porch” is exactly as we expected. The interior is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. It has everything you could want. The condo is stocked , the owners have thought of everything, and they are extremely diligent with communication and helpful tips. Very charming. The location is perfect and peaceful. We saw so many deer, enjoyed the beauty of the water and mountains at the marina, enjoyed the pool, sports courts, and clubhouse. It was an excellent place to stay on our week-long baseball trip. Totally worth it. We highly recommend.

AMAZING CONDO

This place is a definite winner for me. Often places are advertised and in person they do not look anything like what the pictures showed. This place was even better than what I saw on the internet. The route to get to the place was definitely adventurous at night but totally worth the trip! in the morning the views are just beautiful. We had everything we needed at this place. JP was great. Excellent communication. A little flashlight was left at the door of the condo to help us see better when entering the condo at night. The experience when having a cup of coffee in the balcony was priceless. Excellent views and the occasional visit from a few cute deer's. My family and I absolutely loved this place. Thanks JP!!
