Nearby attractions include White Clay Creek State Park, Carousel Park & Equestrian Center, Wilmington Riverfront, University of Delaware and fabulous indoor and outdoor dining spots.
Enjoy the spacious outdoors of the cottage in a serene setting. Pike Creek Cottage is family friendly with plenty of space to run around. Inside you'll find welcoming decore, a family room, full kitchen and 2 bedrooms with beds you can melt into after a long day. Perfect Location

My husband and I stayed here for a Saturday night in January so we would not have to drive two hours home in the dark after visiting Longwood Gardens. The house was super cute and clean (we loved having a garage in which to park our car), the host was responsive to communication, and the check-in/check-out process was easy. If we are ever in the area again, we would not hesitate to book the property again. Thank you Nicki for hosting us!

Cozy and safe!

Really appreciated being able to stay near family for the holidays. We loved the Christmas lights on the tree behind the house too! Lots of blankets were a big plus. Mattresses were a bit firm for us (we love to sink in) and there was no table that the three of us could all sit at (though my son LOVED the barstools). I would have loved a second bathroom (two adults and a kiddo who needs bathtime!), but other than those minor, very niche things for us, we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

Holiday weekend

Stayed here over the holidays to visit with family. Was happy to have a pet friendly option. We are used to a fence at home but the yard was great for my pup to run around in. Quiet street in a great location. Host was nice enough to have coffee snacks water and other essentials I hadn't thought about bringing. Would definitely book again if traveling with pets in future.

Pike Creek Cottage

This 5 star cottage is a must stay! Very cozy, clean and comfortable with all the needed essentials. Very close to downtown Wilmington attractions. A haven while at a women’s retreat

The cottage was a perfect, quiet, cozy and clean spot for us to return home to each day. The neighborhood was a peaceful place to take a walk and convenient to the neighboring areas in SE PA, as well as Wilmington. We would definitely love to return for another stay while in the area.

Everything a rental experience should be!

Great location - cottage had everything we needed and more!

We were traveling from FL to ME and needed a place to stop near Wilmington to visit family and friends. The cottage was perfect. The owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. We went to Delaware Provisions and picked up lots of Polish food. The cottage had everything we needed to cook the entire meal for our friends. Thanks so much for sharing your home. Will definitely be booking for next years trip up north.

Cute place, not far from Longwood Gardens

My sis and I took her two grands to the fireworks/fountains at Longwood and this was the perfect place to land. Plenty of space, extras like coffee, water and snacks. Spotless. Comfy beds. Perfect for the four of us!!

Perfect for our needs!

We stayed just one night at this delightful little cottage in the country. We had tickets to a show at Longwood Gardens ... so the drive was short. We needed a pet friendly location ... this was perfect. Our show ended up being cancelled, so we spent the evening in the house. The couch was comfy and the TV worked beautifully. The yard was perfect for walking our sweet little dog. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped ... there was even fresh ice in the freezer. The coffee bar was perfect for our morning. We would come back here if / when needed. It is a very comfortable home!

Home away from home

The Pike Creek Cottage was perfect for our trip back to DE to see family and friends. It is a very convenient location, close to everything but also private on a quiet street. It is well appointed with very thoughtful details. Comfy furnishings and beds, ample towels, and a well-stocked kitchen will make your stay here easy and stress-free. Nicki and Brian have thought of everything from personal care, to dish and laundry cleaning supplies, to items for your cookout. It's all here, just waiting for you!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful and peaceful time staying at Nicki and Brian’s cottage. It’s very clean and comfortable while being away from home. The location is so quiet, loved taking walks in the area. Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. This is our second time staying here and will be returning in the future.

Delaware U College Visit

We were only staying one night, as we were touring Delaware University for my 16 YO the next day. The property, inside and out, was spotless, well equipped, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. Super safe neighborhood! We also greatly appreciated the restaurant delivery fliers in the kitchen, as we were all pooped from our drive up from Virginia.

This property sits on about an acre of land. It is on a quiet road but keeps you close to where you need to be. It is uniquely centrally located to so many wonderful aspects of Delaware. There is a funny saying around here that everything is 20 minutes away and it is so true!
