The unit is as pictured, it is old, but it is clean. Refrigerator was cold, air conditioner was good. Bed was nice. My main issue is the shower, there wasn't any hot water, the water pressure is light, and the shower is tiny. If you are a big person, you might not fit.

Great location

There were some snafus with the communication of unit number and check out date, but the host was quick to resolve the issues. The place was clean and more than worth it for the price. The location perfect and the quick beach access was better than I expected.

Bruce was very responsive, but 1st of all, we didn't stay in where we booked, because of plumbing issues. We were moved to another vacation rental. Greeted by a dead waterbug (cockaroach) by the cleaning supplies. A few more, holes in walls, mold on shower curtain, and on and on.

Location, Location, location

Beautiful, quaint old motel that has been nicely updated. It had tremendous charm. One must understand it has probably been there since the mid 50's, therefore the rooms are going to be smaller. The location versus the price was extremely reasonable. The host was out of this world good. We be back

Nothing but the TRUTH!

Sorry to say but there were only 3 positives to this place. Location was awesome, refrigerator was cold and water pressure in shower was good. When you get to the front door it will tell you about the place. The screen door is just a bought to fall apart and full of holes. The place was filthy. We wiped the dining room chairs out with a bleach wipe and it was black with dirt on it. The base board in the bathroom had blobs of what looked like dog hair on top of it and I really can't describe what a piece of crap the shower. Nastiest thing that I have seen while staying somewhere. MOLD/MILDEW. I have pictures in case the owners are interested. A/C was broken the last day and because of the crap screen door no way to leave it open to keep out the bugs. I called the manager to let them know of the A/C and other issues and was told...."well at least you had good weather but that wasn't because of us". No offer of discount, refund and only a half a$$ apology. I have photos of it all and its not pretty.

This property met our needs very well. We wanted to be near my brother's condo so we could visit with him easily. This was only 4 blocks away, an easy walk. I liked how I was given the address and check in information early. Thank you.

Black Mold in the bathroom shower

Walk in to property to mustie smell. Did not realize it was coming from the shower and behind the sink until the next day. The mold was on all three walls and the handles themselves. The smell was so bad we had to keep the door closed at all times. The rest of the unit was a little tired.

Incredible location, relaxing time

We walked to beach and restaurants. Learned you need to turn lock after entering code to open and close. The room is small but fine for a couple. Nicely remodeled. We had a great time!

IRB getaway

Property was clean inside. Space adequate for short term stays. Communication with owner was good. Check in process easy. Location was in a safe neighborhood, easy walk to the beach! The shower needs desperately to be renovated. Water pressure minimal, and no need to ever turn on the cold water. We used hot water only and it was warm. The shower stall is so tiny that any person of a larger stature could not fit in this tiny space. I barely could shave my legs! The bath towels and beach towels need replaced. They looked like the ones I put aside at home, to use for rags. Thread barren, thin, really poor quality. Coffee pot needs updated to a Keurig, or at the very least, a new one. This one was old and we had to clean before we used. The use of a grill was nice. Chairs provided outside unit to sit a nice feature.

Very nice location, quiet street and easy access to beach.

Comfortable room with all the necessities available. Good instructions and information provided. The space is fine for two people . Also good for pets. Could use some updating.

Great Getaway!

We had a great time, the proximity to the beach is incredible- just across the street! It's a quieter area with a handful of restaurants within walking distance- if you're looking for a quiet beach getaway, this is the perfect place!
