RED DRUM RETREAT is a Luxury 2 bedroom 2.5 bath Townhome in Lost Key Golf and Beach Club. Feel like you've escaped with top of the line amenities, furnishings, and all the relaxation you need.

Our unit comfortably sleeps 6 adults and a pack-n-play is provided for the little one.

Red Drum Retreat- is located on the closest street to the beach, just a 10 minute walk to the ocean, pool and beach club! Grab lunch or a cold drink before heading to the private beach.

A second zero-entry pool is just a short walk away if you want to take the kids for a sand-free swim, or enjoy the hot tub yourself. There is also a well-equipped fitness center, tennis courts and an Arnold Palmer golf course for you to enjoy.

Great family vacation

The house was just as expected. Offered a great place for my family of 5 to stay for a week of relaxing in Florida. Kids ages 9, 12, 16. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and pickle ball!

Great stay!

The house was so clean and had plenty of room to relax. We loved the deck and the easy access to the pools, and to beach. Having the shuttle was a super nice amenity! The house had everything you could need.

Beautiful Home!

This residence was one of the nicest my husband and I have stayed in. We appreciated the thought that went into the items on hand for the beach such as an umbrella, beach towels, a pull cart and a cooler. The home was beautiful and we loved the screened in porch. The area was really quiet too which we enjoyed. Allison was wonderful and easy to work with!

Family Vacation

Perfect home for family stay. Not only was the home clean but perfectly equipped. Kitchen had all the essentials, house also had everything you needed for the beach. Chairs, umbrellas and toys. There is a chair service also available for first come first serve. We loved that you have the best of both worlds between Alabama and Florida.

Much Needed Family Vacation

Allison was a pure gem to work with. She was very responsive and communicated with us throughout our entire stay. The condo was clean and fabulous with a great location. Just note that if you do call for the shuttle, you cannot take the wagon onto the shuttle so you will need to walk the five minutes to the beach. Our family really enjoyed ourselves and we look forward to returning next year. If you get a chance to stay here, check out Captain Colby at the Zeke Marina for some onshore fishing. Our family had a blast and caught a dozen plus fish and was able to keep them in the full size freezer at the house. Thank you Allison for an opening up your beautiful home to our family. We loved it.

Relaxing and beautiful

My fiancé and I loved staying at RedDrum Retreat! The house was stunning and had everything we needed as we cooked several times. Sitting on the back deck was pure relaxation; plus we saw some cool wild life (Check out the dead tree to the left, you might see a bald eagle!). The shuttle was reliable for us but we honestly preferred getting up early and going over to one of the public beaches for the earlier sun. Allison had everything you need for the beach as well. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

Five Days of Sun and Fun

Arrived and everything was ready. Instructions great and list of restaurants excellent. Bikes, beach chairs and cart, games inside all clean and easy to use. Suggestion to owner that a small bench like at entrance would be very helpful in 2nd bath as counter area not as big as main bath. All in all had a great time. Thank you.

Amazing Wonderful Place

My husband and I came here for a much needed vacation. The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was organized and well stocked. We loved the large garage, as we arrived in the rain. It made unloading the car so much easier. They had all the beach equipment anyone could ever want, as well. The bedrooms were lovely with ample room in each closet. Our bed was comfortable and all the linens were top notch. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you, Allison💖

Great beach vacation

Townhouse was very clean, neat and stylish. All appliances and cooking ware was already there. The grill is a major plus along with the sitting area beside it! Loved having the garage to store gear. It was also nice that the chairs and umbrellas at the beach club were included in our package. Would be nice if more than 1 bike but overall we had an awesome time! Beautiful townhouse and great communication with owner!

Perfection

We have stayed at many VRBO properties, but this could very well be my favorite. Absolutely spotless (a must for me), it was first-class all the way. The garage was another plus, as we had to load up during a severe thunderstorm. Allison was wonderful to work with. The only negative was the main pool was closed the entire week as a result of storm-related problem. I would have gladly stayed another week!

Beautiful property. Wonderful family time

The condo felt like we were the first people ever staying in it. Beautiful. Most well stocked of any condo ever. Love the laundry upstairs. Love the garage for cooler car. Love the back porch for rainy day relaxation and games. Comfy beds. Easy in and out process. My husband would just drive us to beach each day (with all kid beach goodies) and then walk himself. Beach has four free chairs and two umbrellas per family. Lillian’s pizza was delicious. Pool was large and kid friendly. Would definitely return.

A Wonderful Vacation while we visited our Airman

We had a wonderful time at Lost Key. The area was close to base and simply beautiful! The house was perfect. Beautiful decor, cozy, well organized and a perfect vacation home! The garage helped with sandy beach equipment storage and was well stocked. Owners were amazing and responded to everything right away. We caught sand crabs and jellies, went on a sunset dolphin cruise and saw playful dolphins splash in the waves, went to the Hang Out and did the breakfast with Pirates and Princesses, ate yummy pizza at Paul’s Pizza, enjoyed a great meal at Jellyfish, had the best ice cream, enjoyed hours of swimming both in the ocean and pools. We all had the best time and would highly recommend Red Drum Retreat! I agree with others review. Taking the wagon over to the beach club and dropping of the family and then riding the bike is the best way to go.

Clean, beautiful townhome. Decorated with high quality furniture.

1. Had a wonderful time at this property. The gated community had a golf course, pool, gym, tennis courts ,restaurant and sidewalks throughout. The beach club is nearby. Suggestions: 1. The rules at the beach club ( no coolers or outside food) on the beach was disturbing when we arrived. We did bring a cooler and outside food (I cannot eat at a restaurant for my meals, I make my own food ) and just did our own thing. Nobody approached us . Also there was no umbrella or chair service Monday- Thursday during the week we were there. 2. We brought a wagon and all our beach fun stuff and so my husband would drop us off at the club and he would park in the public beach access lot next door. That gave us a sense of security if the weather changed. 3. If you go to the beach club, be aware there is no ramp. I had to help an elderly woman with a cane down the stairs. We had to drag our wagon up and down the stairs. Not fun. Hopefully they will change it to a ramp so it is more convenient for wagons, strollers and the disabled.

Beautiful Beach Home!

We will definitely be back to Red Drum Retreat! Allison’s home is absolutely beautiful and the beach across the street is breathtaking. Allison was easy to reach, was quick with a response and so sweet. Her home had everything we needed and could have asked for. Beach toys, beach towels and even bikes. Our favorite part of the home was the close proximity to the ocean and the screened in porch. My family and I enjoyed eating ice cream out there after dinner and playing cards. If visiting be sure to check out nearby Johnson Beach National Seashore for the sunrise and Alabama point for sunset! We also had fun seeing Fort Pickens. We will be back to Red Drum Retreat for sure. Our least favorite part of our vacation was leaving- there was a lot of tears shed on the beach last night as we could have used a few more days in paradise! Thank you Allison!
