We stayed at the Apartment Glockenspiel over Hannenkahm weekend. It was the perfect location for accessing the hill and enjoying the party atmosphere. We met there with friends from across the world, and everyone felt like it was a great place to stay. Comfy beds, big bathrooms, and a nice kitchen. The owner met us at 6am to check in and was ski kind and helpful with showing us parking and getting us in so early(we arrived 6am Thursday to get on the race course). The one MAJOR downside, which would cause me to not rent this again, is the lack of easy entry. We were only given two keys, in an apartment that sleeps 6. The side entrance door needs a key to go in or out, and so does the secondary door into the apartment. In order to allow everyone staying to come and go, we had to hide a key under the mat, and then leave one inside by the entrance, and leave the apartment door unlocked and potentially at risk for restaraunt patrons to access. The restaurant staff saw the key we hid on the inside, and told us that was not ok. So we then put it right inside the apartment up the stairs. That means to get out you must walk down two flights of stairs, then back up to leave a key so that others are not locked in. Even doing that, we were yelled at by restaurant staff for leaving it cracked while we ran key back upstairs. How do they expect anyone to get out of the apartment if there are not keys inside?? I was locked in one morning and stuck inside until a friend came back with key. So to sum it up, it is a massive hassle to give all occupants access and it is quite a nightmare honestly, especially during Hannenkahm weekend. If the key issues were resolved, it would be a wonderful spot to stay.
