Completely remodeled mountain hideaway. Hanging out in the great room feels like you're in a private tree house, yet is 3 minutes from the Schweitzer shuttle and 5 minutes from Starbucks. Three floors plus a loft for everyone to spread out. It's the perfect mix of gathering spaces and privacy. Giant kitchen and a dining table for 12. Beautiful new bathrooms with tile showers. Play room and a game room w/a pool table, ping pong and darts. Relax in the hot tub on the large deck after a full day on the mountain, in the lake, on your bike or all three! Gorgeous Getaway

Wow, this is a beautiful luxurious house that is even nicer than what the photos show! The space is beautifully decorated and we had a blast with the pool table, ping pong, and hot tub. We had a group of 4 couples and 6 young children who enjoyed the dedicated playroom and fun toys. We like to cook on our vacations and the kitchen was above-and-beyond stocked with a great stove. The creek just outside had a steep access but was a great place to play with adult supervision! The only reason I'd hesitate to come back was how loud and echo-y the house was, limiting privacy and hard on anyone who wanted to go to bed early or sleep in.

Awesome weekend skiing

Fantastic home! It was an amazing place to come back too after a weekend spent skiing at Schweitzer. The location is super convenient as it was only a 15ish minute drive to the hill. The house had all the goods and was extremely comfortable and clean. Love the character and the host was friendly and responsive. The ratings are up! It was an all time trip. Thanks a bunch!

Schweitzer Pow Getaway

Everything you could ask for and more. Comfortable beds and couches, fully stocked house, great temperature control, hot water never ran out with 10 dudes, easy driveway for parking two large vehicles, clean hot tub....and tons of fun decorations. To keep it simple, this is one of the best house rentals I had stayed at and ive stayed at a lot. Would love to return sometime

Great house for a large group

We had a great stay at this house with a group of 10 friends. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked. The only thing of note was the master bedroom is in the same room as the lower level entrance and game space (ping pong and pool) so it was hard to have privacy of that area when people wanted to play games and load up vehicles for a day on the mountain. There is a door at the base of the stairs to close off the area at night, but I think it would have been better if the master bedroom space was closed off with a door at the opening in the wall. Overall we were very happy with this rental and would stay again. The owner was also very accommodating when we thought we may have to change our reservation due to an issue with a mountain activity being canceled. We didn't end up changing our dates but it's definitely worth noting that the Owner was easy to work with.

A President's Weekend Ski Trip

We loved this place. Lots of room and plenty of places to stretch out. A great kitchen with a large dining table, large living area, nice beds, and surrounded by woods. Enjoyed the hot tub, game room and all the parking. Easy to get to Schweitzer and a short distance to the park and ride up to the mountain.

Cozy and Comfortable

This was the perfect lodging for our large group ski trip! Organizing a trip for 15 adults can be tough to find a house that comfortably fits everyone. Not only were the rooms set up nicely for a group this size, but the living room spaces were great for lounging. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there is even a large dining table that can seat everyone. This is a great location for getting to and from the mountain as well as the town. I grew up in Sandpoint and I love getting to share this place with friends - thank you for the perfect stay!

Beautiful House

The house was everything the listing described but even more beautiful. Nice artwork all around, some quirky parts of the house made it more charming. We had 2 families with us for a total of 10 people, More than enough beds and yet lots of privacy. Huge table for lots of games and slow meals. super well appointed, we didn't need a thing.

Perfect family vacation

We loved our stay at this wonderful Sandpoint home. It is one of the most well-stocked homes we've ever rented. It was not only a beautiful home that perfectly accommodated multiple families, but was ideally located just a short drive to all the Sandpoint amenities. Great place!

Family Reunion

We stayed at the "Cabin" for a week with family and had a fantastic time. It was the perfect place for all ages with plenty of beds, a big kitchen, and a gathering place on the deck with the hot tub. We will definitely come again! Jack was a great host!

Great place and location to have several family members stay for a wedding. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was great to host a small gathering for the rehearsal dinner. We loved that there was a deck on the back and front of the house.

We had an awesome stay. This place is so neat and whimsical from the layout to the decorations. The house was very clean, the amenities were well stocked (having done this event for 10 years...best stocked house by far...paper products, cleaning supplies, linens, etc.) Very comfortable place, would totally come again for an adult function or a family function.

Home away from home

From the first communication with the owner, to the moment we left, everything about our stay was amazing. The home is beautifully decorated and easily accommodated our group of 8 kids and 4 adults. We felt right at home in the well supplied kitchen and spent our evenings enjoying the picturesque setting around the hot tub. We can't recommend a stay at this secluded home enough! This is sure to become a tradition for all who stay. With a less than 10-minute drive to the beach and Sandpoint shopping, your won't regret your stay.
