Our charming villas are located in the exciting and colorful neighborhood of Maya Beach on the Placencia Peninsula. An amazing place for a couple to stay - you’ll have all the space and privacy you need.

Our spacious One-Bedroom Salty Seahorse Beach Villa casually furnished, offers a separate bedroom featuring large windows, welcoming ample natural light into your relaxing sleep space. The living room has a 48” satellite TV, a queen size futon and sofa. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and all full sized appliances . large screened in veranda provides the perfect setting to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sunrise, or relax with a glass of wine and listen to the sounds of the sea.

A Happy Salty Seahorse

The place was perfect with its own private beach and use of the neighbor's covered dock to watch fish or just sit was an added bonus. We didn't use the kayaks or bikes, but those were also available. The house was great, clean, comfortable and the location was pretty convenient. You will definitely want to either rent a car or the golf cart to get into the village. It can be done by bicycle, but is quite the trip in the heat. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean just outside, is amazing. Our only wish is that a king size bed was offered in the Salty Seahorse apartment instead of just a queen. We are used to a larger bed. The hosts were great and the place was just what we needed to relax and unwind. Thanks Kim & Dean!!

Hi, we are Kim and Dean the hosts of Sea La Vie. We are so happy you are here and can’t wait to share a little bit about ourselves and what brought us to paradise, and hopefully excite you to want to explore Belize as well.

My husband, Dean and I have been happily married for 25 years, he’s my best friend and partner in crime. Dean and I have been blessed with 2 amazing kids a daughter Kyley who is newly married to Rylan who live in Calgary with our grand pup Lilah and are expecting our first grand baby. And our son Jacob who is engaged to his beautiful Fiancé Maddie, living in central British Columbia with our grand pup Mia. Both are off creating their amazing futures.

After our first visit sitting at the airport ready to leave Belize we were already looking at flights back to learn more about this amazing country. After several trips and exploring around the country we fell in love with the Placencia area and that is where we have now created Sea La Vie !

We absolutely love sharing stories about all of our Belize adventures and favorite things to see and eat while here. And we are so excited to share all of that with you!
