Looking for a quiet place to stay with family or friends? This large, beautifully maintained 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, with new, large 8 person hot tub and steps to the private beach is just the answer. Our two-story home has over 3800 sq. ft of space and is beautifully renovated with a well-appointed kitchen and indoor/outdoor dining. The large upper-level family room to gather and play games or watch movies will provide the perfect backdrop to make memories and get away from it all!

This home offers a full kitchen with a Viking gas convection oven, kitchen island to gather around, high end pots and pans, a wood pellet grill/smoker, and your basics cooking necessities. It has a formal dining room, connected to the outdoor dining area, and more outdoor dining on the large upper deck as well.

The spacious upper level primary bedroom provides a lovely, secluded retreat and has a separate deck with lounge chairs and a partial ocean view.

Fun and games galore! We have a shuffleboard table and plenty of family board games to keep the entire family engaged and having fun together.

Our home offers a quiet beach refuge and yet is just minutes from shopping, dining, art, and so much more. Within walking distance you will find Beach Bites, a fabulous beach side deli, convenience store and beach sport rental with everything from smoothies, to subs, to surf board rentals. And next door to Beach Bites you will find Disney's Vero Beach Resort® where your family can enjoy a fun dinner together. Or, if you enjoy getting up early, start your day with incredible sunrises over the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

wonderful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well laid out for our family of 3 couples. It was clean, very well stocked and very well located. Being able to walk to the beach barefoot - as it was onlyl a few yards away - was a real treat. And the beach there is beautiful!

A very Merry Christmas!!!!

Our son is at flight school in Vero Beach so we decided to bring Christmas to him since we live in NY and he couldn't get the time off. This house was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own space to chill and relax. They even put up a Christmas tree for us. Easy walk to beach, great location on the island; as we don't want to be in the thick of things. Peaceful and tranquil. House was very well equipped and the owners were great to work with! If we couldn't be in our home for Christmas; this was the next best place to be!

Perfect spot for a reunion of close friends.

The house has everything you could need for a beach vacation (i.e. beach chairs, boogie boards, towels, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower). The kitchen is beautiful with excellent appliances and all the cooking and dining supplies you need for cooking and dining in. And the outside decks are great for early morning coffee to late evening dinner or just lounging around!

Old Florida Vibe

Great Place To Stay

We would highly recommend this property. It was very clean….. it may have been the cleanest property we have ever rented. The description and pictures are very accurate. The walk to the beach is only 100 steps and the beach is very nice and private. The location is just a short drive from the main part of vero beach where there are great shops and restaurants. Dawn was an excellent host. Very responsive and professional.

A perfect getaway

This property was perfect for a family wedding on John’s Island. We were only four miles from the festivities with an easy drive on A1A. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean! The beach is a walk through a short path, and Dawn provided beach chairs, towels, sand toys, sunscreen and even hats and beach bags. The kids with us were entertained the whole time. There was a Publix grocery store nearby with a liquor store handy! Fully equipped and very comfortable, perfect for an extended family. Don’t hesitate, this home is a gem.

Wonderful home base for family to gather

Half our family stayed at the Disney property and half stayed at the house over Christmas. It was wonderful to have a large, stocked kitchen for the larger family holiday meal. And the spaces made it nice for the kids to branch off from adults. We found the shuffle board table to be a real treat. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and it was a great walk to/from Disney. This was a great home with plenty of room for everyone. Just need to use the upstairs space as a typical living room.

Thoroughly enjoyed our extended vacation here! We've been vacationing in Florida for over a decade. We have never stayed in the same home twice, mainly because of cleanliness. We have already booked this home for next year. You could have eaten off the floors in this home it was so clean. We walked in unpacked and started enjoying our vacation. Right Time, Right Place

Due to a family emergency we need a place for several family members on short notice and Dawns place did not disappoint. Dawns place was immaculate and suited our family perfectly. She was amazing to work with, communication was immediate and quick. The location couldn't have been better. Close to the beach and downtown Vero but quiet and peaceful. Great manager....we contacted Dawn a few days before our trip which we booked 6 months in advance and were rewarded with a prompt response. She checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything during our stay. The house is absolutely amazing. Believe everything you see and read about this property in the listing. Perfect Paradise HideAway!

We spent a long weekend at Hero’s HideAway and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything about this completely updated property was perfect, down to each precise detail. Five adults, two kids under the age of 4 - we had so much room to spread out and enjoy. All amenities are there, including sturdy travel crib and safety gates for top and bottom of stairs. We had so much fun playing table shuffleboard and sitting on the upstairs desk stargazing. The private immaculate beach is really 100 steps away. And the kitchen is gorgeous with everything we needed. We highly recommend this beautiful home for your family vacation - and fully intend to come back as soon as we can!

This place was beyond incredible

The host made this experience great with all her thoughtful touches. She had beach toys, chairs, even sunscreen ready. Basic food items and coffee where ready for us as well. The house is right off the beach. 100 steps is accurate. Private beach and parking for 2-3 cars at the house. The master suite is amazing and there are two other rooms suitable for adults. Kids rooms are perfect. We had a place for everyone with 9 people, 4 adults and 5 teen- young adults. There was lots of common areas for games and conversation. I would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Absolutely Amazing!

This house is spectacular! We had two families with 9 people. Everyone had their own space and so much of it! The upstairs area is perfect! So much room to gather. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. The hot tub is an added bonus. Dawn had beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and so many towels for us to use. All we needed was clothes and sunscreen! The beach was so close, and had great waves for the kids. We used the bikes to explore the area. The pictures do not do this home justice!! Such an amazing place and trip! Dawn was always helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Thanks Dawn! We will be back!

Incredible Beach House Getaway

The first thing that caught my attention was the impeccable cleanliness. The entire house was spotless, from the pristine floors to the sparkling windows. It was evident that the owners had gone above and beyond to ensure a fresh and inviting environment. The bathrooms were gleaming, and the kitchen was not only well-equipped but also maintained to the highest standard. One of the biggest highlights of this beach house was its proximity to the shore. Being just steps away from the beach made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the sand, sun, and surf. We found ourselves taking leisurely walks along the shoreline, basking in the breathtaking views. Hi! Our names are Greg and Dawn Weinman and we are so excited to share our home with you! We have four teenage children and we love to travel. Staying at the beach and playing in the ocean has always been one of our family's favorite vacations. We don't live in this home full time, but we have family that lives in the Vero Beach area. These factors gave us the perfect reason to find a home here that we could all enjoy together and come back to year after year as our children move into adulthood and start their own families.

When we purchased this home we were looking for a location to provide our immediate and extended family with a place to make memories and to give us a respite from the cold Illinois winters. This home quickly provided us more than we ever could have dreamed of. We hope it will also provide you with the same enjoyment, relaxation, and fun!

Our home is located along a beautiful stretch of beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of Florida called the Treasure Coast. It is aptly named for the many shipwrecks that occurred in this area in prior centuries and left treasure washed up on the beaches. Our home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on a sandy lane, away from high-tourist areas, and is about 100 steps to our private beach. We have added some things to our home that our family really loves when we are on vacation, such as a hot tub, shuffleboard, and lots of board games. We truly hope that your family will enjoy our home as much as we do and that you consider making it a place you return to in the years to come!
