Lower Sunset Villas - Only building with ocean views. The Villa Piscina is nestled in the private 24-hour guarded quiet and tranquil community of Sunset Villas, West End, Roatan, Honduras and includes pool access.

Located in the heart of West End Town, Roatan, Honduras, Villa Piscina is surrounded by gorgeous gardens as well as lush, tropical jungle and has ocean views and pool views.

The Villa is only minutes away from bars, restaurants, souvenir stands multiple dive shops, and the infamous Half Moon Bay Beach, home of Sundowners Beach Bar, Tripadvisor's top restaurants such as The Lounge Roatan, Sandy Buns, Roatan Oasis, Gingers & Silversides.

Dive shops such as: Roatan Divers, West End Divers, Reef Gliders & Splash Inn, just to name a few.

The space:
Vista Piscina is an 1800 square foot 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom villa located just 5 minutes walk or a 30-second drive off the main road in West End.

There is a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed, TV, plenty of storage and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The second large bedroom is complete with 2 double-size beds. Perfect for 2 adults or children. It too has plenty of storage and and ensuite bathroom with a shower.

The floor plan of this condo allows for the open concept living room/dining room/kitchen. The living area has 3 cozy sofas. In the kitchen, you will find an abundance of counters, storage space and a gorgeous island for serving or prepping. It is complete with everything you need to prepare (or have a personal chef prepare for you) a delicious meal for you and your group! And for dining, there is a table that seats 4 inside and another table that seats 4 outside to dine al fresco!


The outdoor veranda is where you'll probably spend most of your time. While sitting on the comfy sofa having coffee or sipping a cocktail all while taking in the morning shade or afternoon sun, sweeping views of the jungle, pool, or Caribbean ocean, or overlooking the community of Sunset Villas. It also has a gas BBQ grill and an outdoor dining table that seats 4.

The Villa comes complete with air-conditioning, high-speed Fiber optic wifi, cable TV, cold and hot purified drinking water, hot running water, washer-dryer and beach/pool towels.


There is onsite parking for 1 vehicle directly behind the unit but taxis or hired drivers are readily available. Most bars, restaurants and attractions are within walking distance.

Guest access:
Villa Sunset View is within a short walking distance to two Roatan beaches. Consume a drink or some food at Sunset Bar or Brisas Del Mar on the main strip and they'll let you use their beach chairs.

Half Moon Bay is the second beach and is perfect for snorkeling right from shore.

Catch a Water Taxi in front of The Tiki Shop to take you to West Bay Beach for the day. You can also catch a boat in West End to do an island tour by water, go see the dolphins at Anthony's Key, deep-sea fish or head out for some guided snorkeling. Dive Shops are bountiful in the West End. All include equipment rental and are within walking distance. All Dive Shops accommodate guests of every skill level from absolute beginners to well-experienced dive masters.

We will gladly arrange for airport pick up and drop off as well as cleaning during your stay. We can also arrange for an in-home chef for some meals while you are here. It is a lovely treat and will allow you to learn more about the island and its tasty cuisine!

Other things to note:
Electricity:
The daily room rate does not include the cost of electricity, as it is quite expensive on Roatan. The local power company, Roatan Electric Company (RECO), predominantly relies on diesel generators to generate electricity, resulting in a higher cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh) compared to the mainland of Honduras. On Roatan, the cost typically exceeds $0.40 per kWh, while in the Honduran mainland, it ranges from $0.07 to $0.21 (as of 08/15/2022), depending on the state.

To ensure fairness and offer lower room rates, we have opted for a system where guests are charged based on their actual electricity usage, rather than a flat fee for amenities such as air conditioning and laundry. By allowing guests to self-regulate their electrical consumption, we aim to provide flexibility and transparency. The moderate use of air conditioning in the bedrooms during the night and other appliances can amount to approximately $8 - $14 USD per day.

To calculate your electrical charge, we will record the meter reading at both check-in and check-out. The difference between the two readings will be multiplied by $0.50 per kWh. Payment can be made in cash or through popular online payment platforms such as Airbnb, or Pay. Pal.

We kindly encourage you to adopt energy-saving practices during your stay. Remember to turn off lights and air conditioning when you are not in the room or building, and please close doors and windows when the air conditioners are in use.

While power outages are less frequent than in the past, it's worth noting that Roatan, like any Caribbean island, may experience occasional disruptions in electricity supply. We kindly request that you close all faucets and showers during these instances.

Pool: Use of the pool is included in your rate for up to 4 people staying in your condo. There are 2 floaties you may use at your leisure and pool hours are 7:30 am -9:30 pm

Please note: that no pets will be allowed inside or outside the condo. Extra cleaning will apply should this happen.
